We don’t really need ACORN to abet voter fraud here in New Mexico. Governor Richardson gave it a big boost with his driver’s licenses for illegal aliens in conjunction with motor voter. But we’ve got them.
The election process starting from the early primaries is nothing more than a gigantic Clusterfudge. It needs to be re-worked from scratch. 99.9% of people have thumbs use thumb prints at each location when registering and voting, if the “thumb don’t fit you must hit the bricks” have a notional primary day even if you break it into 3 groups on three consecutive days, that would be better than the BS system we have now.
Oh I can hear the excuses now … “This close to the election there is no way to fix these misuses of the system” but I am sure their elections officials will monitor the situation properly.
This together with the debacle with the voting machines and their software, the powers that me can “elect” who they want anyway.
Find the documentary “Hacking Democracy” - a report tracks eggregous errors in our voting booths and election protocol. It will make you sick!

I’ve asked many many people this and never gotten a real answer: Why do you have to go out and encourage people to vote. If people are not sufficiently encouraged or motivated by their own situation, obviously they don’t care enough to have worthwhile input. We don’t ask the customers at the local “five and dime” to pick the course of action of General Electric (as the “five and dime” crowd doesn’t have a vested interest) so why should we let/even encourage the non-interested to vote?
La Raza, in particular, angers me.

So true. I have a family member who loves to complain about “the government” but through the years, at each election cycle, when I have asked her to vote, she can’t be bothered. I say, if you’re that lazy and apathetic, SHUT UP! (sorry, but it really ticks me off)
I think “get out the vote” really means “line up as many strawmen as possible.” As the other commenter noted, if someone is not sufficiently motivated to vote from within themselves, they should stay home. Offering someone $20 or a free meal to “vote” is exploitation, pure and simple. If a person wants to vote, help them to do so…but don’t abuse their situation to advance your own.
One of our local radio dj’s out of Corpus Christi has on his blog this morning pictures of packets of heroin, 240 were found in a home, with a picture of bho on one side and ‘OBAMA 09′ on the other side. Guess that is how they are ‘getting out the vote’ in our area.

There is something wrong with the polling in this country. RCP has 2 polls ight next to each other, one has obama up by 11, the one right next to it has him up by 1. 10 whole points difference? Something stinks there.
IMO complaining about this is useless. People don’t care about corruption, unethical behavior, and illegal activity on the Obama side. Ayers, ACORN, La Raza, Pastor Wright…on and on. The Dems/media have contrived a view in which they are always the victim. Unbelievably, it’s all viewed as morally equivalent to all the evil things they’ve contrived about Reps….revenge for “stealing” elections.
And I also think we’re witnessing what I’ve called the OJ Syndrome. It didn’t matter if OJ was guilty or not, the case became all about whether or not a black man would get let off the hook “like white people”. In this case, it doesn’t matter if Obama has corrupt ties or not, the election has sort of turned into whether or not a black man can steal an election like white people.
In fact I think in both cases, being bad reinforces the desire of many to punk the system/whitey. OJ being obviously guilty played into the notion that he had to get off for doing it. Same with Obama. People cheered harder the more guilty they look.
But buyer beware. OJ was only the hero for a day or so….and then people realized they cheered for a murderer.

We need a national ID card; something like a military ID that is currently used and is tamper-proof. Biometric. Different colors for citizens, legal permanent residents, student visa holders, guest workers, etc. You would have to present this ID to register to vote, every time you vote, and for most other basic functions in our society such as enrolling kids in school, applying for a job, opening a bank account, etc.
I’m tired of the endless fraud from liberals while they bleat about Republican “voter suppression”.
And never, EVER encourage the uninterested to vote. It just screws it up for the rest of us who actually study the issues.

Who woulda thunk it? A race baiting, shake down orgnaization that encouraged, supported, and profitted from the illegal alien invasion, was gaming the democratic system and taking advantage of our stupidity (ie not taking taking steps to insure the voting process was foolproof on the gorunds we might inadvertently “disenfranchise” an insigficant number of citizens). Things have gone too far to stop I am afraid.
McCain panders to hispanics while Obama actively “registers” them. Both parties, which are two sides of the same coin, see hispanics as the key to taking and keeping power. It’s all about power.

When the Republican party gets handed their hat in this election, it still won’t wake up the RNCC. McCain’s constant reaffirmation of his thoughts on illegal immigration and how we are all God’s children will still never be debated nor examined as to why he lost the election. I’m finding this systemic fraud story fascinating because I think that it says way more about our opponents than they want us to know. And I just heard that in 2000, at this time in the election, Gore was at 51% and GW was at 43% (or something like that). It was a huge difference, and we know who ended up winning. Polls are totally bogus and can be skewed any way the pollster want to go.

In a fraud-free election, McCain-Palin would win in an electoral college landslide. Obama has lost a lot of Independents and PUMA Democrats who have made it clear that they will be voting Republican for the first time in their life. Obama’s true level of support is in the 35-45% range.

The NYT is currently focused on voter disenfranchisement on its home page (without actually using the word “disenfranchise” in the article, natch), attributing the problems (including using SSNs as the primary source of background-checking voter rolls) to the Help America Vote Act.
Voter fraud would be unnecessary here in PA. Yes, I know - ACORN is already here. But all that Gov. Ed Rendell has to do is tell the voters in PA to vote for BHO and the majority will dutifully do just that, like the sheep they are.

Yes, it’s scary. Just the notion that all three branches of government plus the fourth estate (MSM) all belongs to the same political party, hello Marxism and collectivism.
Since MSM will not espouse and investigate BHO’s ties to Socialism and to the Radical Left, it’s our solemn duty to spread the truth. Use the internet, e-mail everyone in your address book and have them to do the same, irregardless of their friends political affiliation. There could only be one result through this strategy, an exponential increase of the number of individuals that will be exposed to the truth about BHO. BHO used the internet to raise campaign funds with the same effect.
Some of the above comments seem to indicate that the polls are meaningless. I wish this were true–but I know a number of well educated basically conservative persons who are either still undecided or think that the O’Bummer will not raise taxes on them–and they make a lot more than $42,000 a year.
They don’t seem to get it when I explain what the expiration of the Bush tax cuts means, or what taking the cap off Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid “contributions” (read additional taxes) means to them and their standard of living.
I then try to point out what the death tax, capital gains tax increase, and the tax increases on small business will mean–more unemployment, and higher costs for services when the higher tax costs are passed on to the consumer, less money in our pockets. I still get blank stares from them.
The great “Kingfish” (Huey Long of Louisiana) said, “DON’T TAX YOU–DON’T TAX ME–TAX THAT GUY BEHIND THAT TREE!” I like what Hemingway said a lot better, “DON’T ASK FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS–IT TOLLS FOR THEE!”

Amazing. This guy claims that he’s entering his canvassing id number at the top of the form. Problem is that there is no place on the form to add the information he’s talking about. Meanwhile, he’s feverishly writing all over the form.
Where will this end? The form clearly states that you need to be here legally to vote.
This is pure fraud. Anyone that would do this, sign this, and sign up to vote without being a US citizen does not deserve all the freebies they get here.
