My second syndicated column of the week today mocks Obama’s frightened supporters in Washington and in the media who see the specter of racism everywhere they turn. Republicans don’t need to dress up for Halloween this year. They’re scaring the pants off Barack Obama’s followers by their mere presence. Anything they say, wear, or do provokes instant cries of “RAAAAACISM!” Wink, blink, or think critical thoughts about Obama? You’re a bigot!
How many racial bogeyman have Obama operatives and sympathetic journalists discovered lurking in “coded language” and attire? Let us count the ways:
*At Tuesday’s presidential debate, John McCain referred to Obama as “that one.” Official Obama press agitator Bill Burton sent off an e-mail blast to reporters: “Did John McCain just refer to Obama as ‘that one’?” Horrors. Taking their cue from Burton, spooked Obama supporters hyperventilated like teenagers on the set of the Blair Witch Project movie. “The racial undertones were subtle but unmistakable,” declared Maya Wiley of the leftist Center for Social Inclusion. “McCain was tapping into a current of superiority among white voters. It was an attempt to ‘otherize’ Obama.”
“Otherize?” Sounds like something you do to your car tires to prepare for winter.
UC Berkeley linguistics prof George Lakoff was also haunted by “That One:” “The phrase was meant to say, ‘You and I are in the same area, but he’s the outsider.’”
Memo to McCain: Next time, call him “The One.”
*Obama supporters on the heavily-traffic Democratic Underground website (where such mainstream Democrats as Elizabeth Edwards hang out) saw the ghost of the Ku Klux Klan in Sarah Palin’s white suit jacket. Yes, white clothes = racism.
“Palin is wearing white again, inciting the racist crowds. She should just drop all pretense and put on her white hood and light up a cross. She is a despicable human being,” fumed a DU poster. “Grand Princess of the KKK,” proclaimed another. They’re “trying to send subtle signals to their rabid base,” yet another member of Obama’s rabid base declared.
My racial decoder ring must be on the fritz. Because I’m not getting the signal. If she wears white stockings, drinks a vanilla milk shake, and refers to budgetary black holes, are those incitements, too? And what about her gorgeous white teeth? Perhaps she should drink more coffee — hold the white cream! — to avoid emitting further racial radiation.
*Such paranoia is not limited to the fever swamps of the Internet. Earlier this week, the Associated Press disseminated an “analysis” accusing Palin of injecting a “racial tinge” into the campaign because she criticized Obama for his longtime relationship with Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers. Palin’s comments were completely unobjectionable: “This is not a man who sees America like you and I see America.”
I saw a vice presidential candidate drawing stark philosophical differences between two tickets. The AP saw Freddy Krueger with lipstick and a noose.
“Whether intended or not by the McCain campaign, portraying Obama as ‘not like us’ is another potential appeal to racism. It suggests that the Hawaiian-born Christian is, at heart, un-American,” the AP piece frothed.
Obama is half-black. Ayers is white. One of the Weather Underground’s victims was black police officer Waverly Brown of Nyack, New York. Where do I buy a pair of the super X-ray glasses that can detect the racism in Palin’s remarks about the Obama-Ayers alliance?
*I’ll have to borrow those hysterical-colored spectacles from Time’s Karen Tumulty, who spotted racist goblins in the recent McCain ad criticizing Obama for seeking advice from Fannie Mae corruptocrat, Franklin Raines. “Sinister images of two black men, followed by one of a vulnerable-looking elderly white woman,” Tumulty balked in a blog post titled “McCain plays the race card.”
Um, “sinister?” The ad’s photos of Obama and Raines were standard shots — some with dour expressions, others smiling. The fact that Tumulty perceived them as “sinister” suggests that she should perform a self-racism exam before diagnosing anyone else.
*A parade of Congressional witch hunters for Obama also detects the specter of George Wallace behind every policy bush. Democrat New York Gov. David Paterson says conservative criticism of Obama’s community organizing days is code for “black.” Democrat Rep. Gregory Meeks complained to the New York Observer: “They are trying to throw out these codes.” In the same piece, Democrat Rep. Yvette Clark divined segregationist intent in Palin’s references to Joe Six Pack and hockey moms. “It leaves a lot of people out.”
And Democrat Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid echoed Time’s Tumulty on the McCain camp’s Obama/Raines broadsides: “The only connection that people could bring up about Raines and Barack Obama is that they both are African-American, other than that there is nothing.”
The Washington Post reported that Obama’s office phoned up Raines for housing advice and has stood by its reporting. Is the newspaper part of the McCain/Palin hooded racists’ coven, too?
Obama’s witch hunters better beware. When there’s racism in every hiccup, nobody’s air supply is safe.

Don’t pay any attention to the polls. They oversample Dems and AA. A PUMA was polled. She had recently moved to CO and registered as an Ind. Pollster asked if she wanted lower taxes. Duh. Of course, she said yes. Pollster asked if she thought we shouldn’t have gone into Iraq. She said yes. Then PUMA asked why she didn’t ask who she was supporting and the pollster replied, “We’re a non-partisan polling company.” PUMA asked, “So which candidate did you say I was voting for?” Pollster: Obama. PUMA: Hell no, I’m voting for McCain.

Oh, and by also ignoring the fact that Congressional Democrats either blocked or voted against accounting and regulatory oversight concerning Fannie and Freddie for a decade now. How is this for liberal media bias? In the article in AFB today linked to yahoo.com, the author states that “Obama will have to overcome the latent racism of rural white voters”. The moron who wrote the article assumed that anyone who is white and against Obama is a racist and that rural white voters try to hide their innate racism. I wonder if racism was the reason these voters rejected Kerry, Mondale, and McGovern. Sadly, this is typical of AFB and AP.
My family must be highly offensive when we are going to and coming from our Taekwondo classes…all 6 of us dressed in completely white uniforms, even the 4 year old…(which is the cutest thing ever..she’s not even 35 pounds..) Sorry, didn’t mean to follow that rabbit trail…back to discussing the incredibly racist electorate, you know who you are!

Obviously, you didn’t read the entire piece because many of these outrageous statements and lies were made my pundits, politicians and reporters.
Let’s see. If you were being accused of being racists, simply because you won’t vote for Obama, you wouldn’t be angry? Your VP candidate is referred to as a racist and called stupid (and worse by reporters, pundits, etc.), but you wouldn’t be shocked or angry?
You’re scared? That’s such a joke! How many people were assaulted at the DNC by conservative protesters? Were any delegates doused with bleach, or were there plots to kidnap them? People in your party are talking about rioting if Obama loses! Oh, maybe you’re one of those people who thinks if Palin becomes VP she’ll lock you up in a concentration camp.
Two toughts.
1. If God were in the election process at this point, He would give us better choices.
2. When 70% of the people in a state say they do not approve of this $850 Billion crap sandwich and our “representative” votes for it, define “not submit”. As I see it, we have no choices – we can do nada about it except try and vote them out. With over 90% of them being reelected time and time again, they have nothing to fear. It is not a matter of submitting at this point, it is a matter of bailing water as the Titanic is going down.
I have an entry for the scariest costume for Halloween parties.
It takes two people. The first wears a business suit and an Obama mask. The second one wears an Army uniform with a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist and he follows Obama around wherever he goes.

Investors would be more confident in the market if they believed the government leadership wasn’t continuing to play their silly games with money that isn’t theirs. By their actions in the last three weeks our leaders demonstrated a business as usual response to this “crisis”. I.e., Tax and spend; ladle the bailout bill with many pork projects; avoid blame while pointing fingers at anyone and everyone. None of these actions by our so called “leaders” will build any confidence among investors that things have changed and their money is safe. So no wonder everyone is fleeing the market. The citizens are going to have to take drastic action to get the attention of our self serving Politicians. A second Boston Tea party is needed. Something like a couple million man march on Washington followed by the crowd barricading congress in the Capital building until they redo the bailout bill, with zero pork in it. That would be a start. It would also be a wake up call to the perpetual spenders in Congress that they better get their act together and stop spending money that isn’t theirs on silly and wasteful social engineering projects.
Personally, I’d rather they just scrap the bailout and have no taxes on investment income for two years. That would increase confidence. Then dump the socialist income tax by repealing the 16th amendment and passing the FairTax.
Problem SOLVED!

There is a saying from a rather radical thinker about racism named Neely Fuller Jr. He wrote some very thorough and systematic works about what racism is and how it works. Most people would think him crazy after reading his works.
I read them. And I did not think he is crazy. Racism is real in the world. Tragically, most folks don’t understand it beyond the usual ping pong match over whether something is or is not racist.
And the ping pong matches are so prevalent today, and driven by white liberal leftist moon bat enclaves (who feel guilty about being white- but dont understand how that racial identity works in their life to give and to take away privilege and humanity at the same time- so they just do crazy sh*t to try and scratch an itch they cannot see).
So allegations of racism bring an allergic defensive reaction which leave the allegations unexamined and/or misunderstood altogether. That is a big deal. And the country does find itself in a racial pit that is getting deeper all the time.
Making matters worse is a boob charlatan like Flinchy Obama projecting some magical understanding that will “heal” the Nation- when he is a confused little child with the understanding of most things one can only expect from an addictive personality with emotionally unstable characteristics, and is thunk drunk enough to believe he is supposed to be the Chief Executive and Commander in Chief of the Most Powerful Nation in The World.
That kind of delusion and grandiosity can get one killed.
But back to Fuller- it explains how Flinchy Obama has ended up in this position as possibly the first so-called African American (ROFLMAO) US President.
Fuller states: “Unless you understand racism- what it is and how it works- everything else that you THINK you understand will only confuse you.”
The books Fuller wrote were primarily written for a Black audience who wanted to make better sense of their lives in the wake of what it means to be Black in America. I am not Black. I am light skinned but I am not a White man.
I say this because I found the books to be instructive for me to understand why the world works differently for different racial groups in the United States.
At first it made me angry and vengeful (Rev. Wright, Louis Farrakahn).
Then I went into denial over the truth and just tried to blend in with the crowd (Frank Raines, Barry Obama).
Then I went into grieving over the death of my own illusions and delusions (any sober human being on earth).
Then i moved into a phase of acceptance where i took responsibiity for building wealth and an economic legacy for my family and future generations (something I thought in my early life was reserved only for white people.)
The rest is history. What i have come to understand about racism and racial bigotry is that it is a sorting system for controlling competition in the “race” to participate in the economic system and win big.
Racial prejudice and institutionalized enforcement of those prejudgements about people of color is really about the economy and how to exercise control over the people who participate in it by controlling or tracking HOW they participate in it- as welfare moms, teen moms, incarcerated youth, etc etc etc. It is that simple.
But until i understood how racism IS used to do so, I was lost in a labyrinth of drama and trauma that no one really cared about as they drove by the wreckage I was embroiled in. People felt sorry for me.
But what could they do besides what white liberals do now?
Exactly. Patronize me and set up programs to ease their guilt.
No gracias. Just let me take my spigot to the top of the Golden Mountain where the truly rich run the show and let me make my pitch to provide value to the game so I can earn my 1 per cent of a $45 billion dollar industry.

The most economically wealthy human beings I know in the United States are not white.
And I owe what I have achieved to them and what they have taught me about self-reliance, mental toughness, self-control, how to learn to master the CHANGES happening in the prevailing economic system, and to never ever give up seeking advantage over ones adversaries without them being any the wiser until they see you waiting for them at the finish line (old Indian trick).

The ONE preaches inclusion at his soliloguies, and has hopes to bring us all together, not as different parties, or races, but as Americans. Perhaps he needs to establish some basic ground rules so that we conservatives, know boundaries? Might I suggest that he, or his minions list, once and for all, the following:
Words they consider racist.
Phrases they consider race baiting.
Clothing they find racist and offensive.
Looks they feel exhibit hate and racism.
What topics they believe foster hatred.
Should a person’s history of association be offlimits and forgotten?
As you can see, these simple, easy to understand ground rules, if followed by both sides, will eliminate all racial strife, for there will be no way we would be able to tolerate looking at, talking to, or dressing provocatively around members of the African-American population. The division that the Nation of Islam has sought for decades will come to fruition.
Re: The Bailout. Everyday Americans like us can profit from the same downturn. Billions are being made as many of us sleep.
Why don’t more Americans understand this? Freedom isnt about doing what u want on Sunday.
Freedom in these United States of America has ALWAYS meant the GOLDEN RULE: They who have the gold make the rules.
If that is not a familiar concept to you then you deserve either McCain or Flinchy Obama as your President.
Freedom of thought, expression, association, and worship run far deeper and last longer than any demagogic bureaucrat or thunk drunk punk from Illinois…. but only so long as you have the economic stability in your family’s life to outlast these jerkweenies.
I am tired of the “outrage” from people who are living paycheck to paycheck while living in a land with more opportunity in one city block than 3/4′s of the planet.
That outrage is projected impotence against one’s betters who control the game board from some perch in Washington DC.
To the outraged of the Left and the Right: It is time to change your dance step- put down the remote and start producing something of value in the world economy.
It is a lot more fun than throwing biscuits at a battle ship filed with professional liars.

My biz partner is a black man (I am white). I know him well enough to know that what you wrote here is really on the money. I don’t think he knows what you write of here explicity, but he does have a good understanding of all that you touch on.

Are you stoned or stupid? We have been subjected to threats by the leftists on many boards as to what will happen “when” Senator Obama “wins.” None of us have vowed to riot or start a revolution if Senator McCain loses the election.

Liberal politicians and the MSM care so much about minorities that they are willing to allow “racist” and “racism” to be tossed about with such little discretion it is frightening and downright undignified. They give absolutely no thought or consequence to the fact that this may be completely desensiting the general population to the circumstances which legitimately call for the application of such a word. It’s like the boy who cried wolf, every day, over and over and then one day…or, in our case, Al Sharpton.
So, wearing white now makes you a racist (someone should let Michelle Obama know, I’ve seen her in a few all white outfits) and there are “coded messages” in speeches used to transmit secret squirrel messages telling their voter base – Obama is an outsider because he is black. Good grief. These people need to set down their Dan Brown novels and get a grip. Obama is the “other” guy if for no other reason then the fact he represents a party that coddles bomb throwing terrorists and wants to play patty cakes with dictators from other countries that want to KILL us. But the mere mention of either in healthy political discourse leaves the non-black candidate or anyone not of the MSM elite being called a Racist. I call foul!!!
These ridiculous and out of line accusations of Racism are beyond insulting to folks who experience the genuine ugliness of true racism (quietly) in their lives every day all over the world. Yet, it is a person who has been afforded the opportunity to rise to the level of the first black presidential candidate who uses this cowardly tactic in order to deflect questions he does not want to answer and/or does not intend to be truthful about. And our so called “racially sensitive” media are falling all over themselves to help. “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”… . That’s abhorrent. Shame on them.
Of course there are cries of “racism”. We are talking about souless, morally bankrupt Dimocrats, and their victim constituents… are we not??? A lot of the people, mostly on the left, use the word ‘racism‘ either use it inappropriately or have no idea of the meaning.
Due to the usage of the word, true racism is growing in America…does anyone think Jessie (hijack) Jackson or Rev.(?) Al Shrapton are sincerely trying to eliminate racism in this country. They are nothing more than hate mongers.
I believe in the values of the Western Judeo-Christian culture. I believe that some music and art are better than other music and art. I believe in chivalry, decency and modesty. I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. I believe that all people are created equal and that we ought to be colorblind but not culture-blind.
Now do you realize how many “racist”, sexist and homophobic and islamophobic ideas are embodied in my statement of beliefs? In the eyes of the left I am hopelessly beyond redemption.
But I will continue to assert the superiority of my culture at every opportunity.
Zogby very emphatically predicted a Kerry win in ’04, so you might want to look for someone else to throw you that life preserver.
Rush Limbaugh thinks it would be a good idea if we tell any pollsters we are voting for Obama, just to screw things up. Let’s do it!
If Zogby has Senator Obama ahead and was SO wrong in ’04, I can live with the comparison to the Kerry results.

No charge of racism by Williams or Couric. Hillary Clinton imitated Indians operating a 7-11 and made jokes about Indian names like Patel. No accusation of racism by the MSM.
Just curious about why the MSM won’t point out how much campaign money US Senator Christopher Dodd received from disgraced Lehamn Brothers CEO Dick Fuld. Dodd had no real challengers yet Fuld larded the Dodd campaigns with money. Just curious why Fuld was so generous with Dodd.
I am so glad that a black man has run for president. All the media making us out to be racist because we dare disagree with someone’s opinions and point out his unsavory companions, have brought to light an ugly festering sore that has been brewing for decades. I want to shine the light on the real racism that is in this country and that is from the black community and its leaders. If any of you will clear your head and realize that if we don’t fight for the last bit of rights that we have, we are going to suffer the worst discrimination that this country has ever seen. Karl Raimund Popper described something very similar in 1963 that I think applies to people who see evidence of racism everywhere. To them, there is an “incessant stream of confirmations.” They cannot look anywhere without seeing verifications of racism. Very, very scary.

There is only one way to win this election. Vote! And encourage; no, insist, that the sane among us cast their vote for McCain. I realize that McCain is not the best of all worlds, but given the alternative it’s the only sane choice for our country to remain even somewhat similar to the one in which I was raised. I don’t like the way the McCain campaign has performed, and I don’t like his stance on immigration and the bailout. But to think that Barack Hussein Obama will be the POTUS is enough to make me vomit.

The McCain/Palin ticket is the first in American history in which both candidates were found to have violated ethics standards before a national election.

I can’t help but think these poll numbers are nothing more than made up crap in order to set up two things. One, to discourage Republicans from going to the polls, feeling that they need not bother since Odhimmi is obviously going to win, and also to sway the spineless “Undecideds” to vote for the guy who is “clearly the winner” since those typoes of people would not want to be connected with anything else.
Second, it is setting things up for the Liberals and their street thugs to cry “Voter Fraud” should Capt. big Ears lose. They will claim that with him so far ahead in the polss, it is clear that there was Republican fraud involved as to the reason why McCain won.
That tactic was used on a smaller basis in 2004, when the MSM was declaring Kerry the winner based on Exit Polling, however the completely ignored the fact people were telling them lies in order to get them off their cases, as well as only exit polling in ostly Kerry supported places.

In addition to these charges, this employee is also under consideration for termination for other offenses. You ask the subordinate to fire the employee to deny him access to the Taser and the sidearm. The subordinate refuses.

The case in PA where the lawyer is demanding proof of FauxBama’s citizenship is moving along, and apparently the Court has ordered that Obama provide his birth certificate and related papers. The link purports to be the judge’s ruling. It looks authentic to me, but I’m not a lawyer. However, I know others here are, who may be familiar with this stuff.
