The Obamedia is attempting to set yet another false narrative: The narrative of the McCain “mob.” McCain-Palin rallies are out of control, they wheedle. Conservatives are mad! They’re yelling mean things about Obama and calling him names! It’ scaaaaary!
Paul Krugman is trembling: “Something very ugly is taking shape on the political scene: as McCain’s chances fade, the crowds at his rallies are, by all accounts, increasingly gripped by insane rage…What happens when Obama is elected? It will be even worse than it was in the Clinton years. For sure there will be crazy accusations, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some violence.”

Pair arrested after large McCain sign torched in Sellwood
Authorities have arrested two men after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a 4-foot by 8-foot campaign sign for Republican presidential candidate John McCain in a southeast Portland yard.
Karen Scrutton said she was asleep inside her home at 7956 S.E. 17th Ave. in the Sellwood neighborhood when she saw her sign go up in flames after 1 a.m.
“I screamed upstairs to my husband, ‘Jean! Jean!” she said.
A neighbor heard a crash and chased off one of the suspects. Jean Scrutton said his son-in-law found another suspect not far away.
Not long after, investigators picked up Leslie Brockette Leudtke and Kevin Carl Robinson, both 23. After interviewing them, the pair was charged with four counts each of manufacturing and possession of a destructive device. In addition, Leudtke was charged with a single count of reckless burning.

The one that stands out to me the most is the one of a very masculine arm hitting Sarah in the face, knocking her glasses off.

That image is just disgusting on so many levels. How the left can’t see itself for the hatemongers they are. How they think they will usher peace into this world is beyond my comprehension. They are ugly, brute beasts with nothing left in their souls but hate.
The Left is characterized by immaturity. They have no debating skills, no real facts to support them in a debate if they had the skills, and react with anger when being placed in a competitive environment where they could end up without a ribbon, without a participation and go away empty handed as a loser.
Of course, they are going to be angry and that anger turns to hate towards those who could cause them to lose.
They follow the lead of their political rock stars whose only tactic is to vilify the opposition, because their arguments are all lsoers as well. hate is the only playable card they have in their deck. Not surprising.
What Obama does NOT tell us about his past speaks volume over what he does tell us.

What was on his application to get him into Columbia? We don’t know…nothing is to be released.
Where did he live while he attended Columbia? He can’t recall addresses. His ‘friends’ from that time period will not speak of him.

Who talked to him about moving to Chicago?
Who talked to him about writing a book about himself? Who wrote that book?
How did he get into Harvard? Special favors by unknown friends?
Why, when he was the Harvard Law Review editor, did he never write even ONE article?
Who is this guy who wants to be POTUS?
Shouldn’t we at least know?
Wonder if the far-left libs even consider any of this? Who will they blame when we become a socialist country who is unable to protect itself from evil?

This is comparing apples and oranges. If you want to compare apples to apples in terms of general boorishness outside of the political stage, there are plenty of unspeakable displays of hatred for Obama from the right, from the Curious George shirt to the newspaper cover showing Obama in the crosshairs of a rifle. That’s just in my neck of the woods that doesn’t get reported in that “liberal media” outside my area.
Looking at McCain rallies and Obama rallies, there is no comparison. “Insane rage” does not begin to describe the level of unhinged loonies populating the right.
No matter, the more off the wall y’all get, the more marginalized your cause is. 1/20/09 can’t come any sooner.

Claims of us having “insane rage” is just a precursor to having all of us who have the temerity to voice our opinions and vote against Senator Obama to be declared insane. Since I see you started this with a Paul Krugman comment – I must say I was initially shocked to see that he won a Nobel prize, but then again, I guess the Nobel prize committee is showing the path to nobility lies through Bush bashing (Gore, Krugman), hating america (Arafat), and poor application of scientific method (Gore) and economic analysis (Krugman)
….and therefore Krugman was obviously making his play for fame for quite some time now.

If you are an E6, I have every confidence you would find a way to avoid saluting. Good NCO’s can do that.
And if FORCED to salute, may I suggest what my soldiers did when we were forced by higher to salute in the field. My solders would see me, smile, render a salute and cheefully say, “Sniper check, sir.”

I would ask what is wrong with people but that is too loaded a question. Furthermore, even if one of those know-nothing little cowards were to face Sarah Palin, she would finish them. She can take down a moose (which is bigger than a truck); taking down a coward who is afraid of natural light would be too easy.

It’s court-martial. You don’t have to accept an Article 15; you can request a court-martial instead. I’d recommend that you read the punitive articles in the UCMJ, too, especially Art. 134. “…all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces…” If you have an Article 15 on your record, don’t count on ever getting promoted again. While you might not get put out of the Army as punishment, you probably won’t be allowed to stay for 20.
For what it’s worth, you aren’t saluting the man, otherwise Presidents Carter and Clinton wouldn’t ever have received one, it’s the office of President of the United States.
