Meanwhile, down in Mexico…
Hey, remember the $1.6 billion Merida Initiative — the U.S. taxpayer-subsidized spending plan to help Mexico enforce its borders and get the gangs and drug smugglers under control? (Refresher here.)
How’s it working out?
Mira:
A federal official says assailants opened fire on the U.S. consulate in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey.
A spokeswoman for Mexico’s Attorney General’s office who’s not authorized to give her name says shell casings were found outside the consulate. But there are no witnesses and no one is in custody.
The spokeswoman had no further details.
Mexican media report that one man opened fire on the consulate and another man threw a grenade that failed to explode. El Universal newspaper, citing a U.S. Embassy statement, reports the attack happened before dawn Sunday.
Embassy officials could not be reached for comment early Monday.

How’s it working? Like all other money our government hands out…not well.
Who Was the Only Presidential Candidate to commit to Senator Jeff Sessions’ 15 Point Plan?
Nothing more money! cant fix!
Looks like our check has cleared.
But remember, we should all vote for McCain…
Please.

Has anyone else seen the video on FoxNews this afternoon of the van loaded with illegals plowing into a passenger car? Nine illegals then jumped out and ran past the injured victims without even bothering to help.
It was all caught on video.
How’s the Merida intiative working out?
No digno de una mierda
re: Itooktheredpill
How about if mccain starts helping us win?
Have we bailed out their banks yet? Are we behind on our bribes to Mexican offials? ACORN de la Raza? It’s our fault whatever the reason, and I hope President Obama will be willing to sit down with gangs without any preconditions, so we can clear up this misunderstanding.
Please send the video to Columbia University for analysis…
The downer in this is that if McCain wins — I know, the most amazing miracle since the parting of the red sea — he will feel himself under tremendous pressure to pass something , anything his first 100 days. And since democrats will be really, really angry about losing, the most logical choice for McCain would be Shamasty (up to version III now?). What better way to reach across the aisles, etc.
Obama on the other hand might be pulled in so many directions that he won’t know where to go, so the dreadful business might be delayed. In other words, if Shamesty is your #1 hot button issue and for many it is, it might make sense, just a little, to vote for Obama. Of course if Shamnesty is somewhat lower on your priority scale, then McCain is still the one to vote for.
Sheesh, what a choice.
The extra awful part is that there’s a percentage chance (with and extra helping of pure speculation) that the gunmen could be American citizens.
HERE is the video of the illegal alien van crash.
Notice that they run right past the victims and don’t even bother to ask if they’re okay. Just doing the “hit and runs” that Americans won’t do.

I long suspected that John McCain and Hillary Clinton were playing on the same team, and that his plan was to help her win the presidency. I personally believe that Clinton and McCain are highly influenced by ChiComs. The ChiComs stand to benefit greatly from the borderless North American Union (whose “Amero” currency has been coined by the Denver mint since last year).
Obama, however, appears to be a puppet of Soros and Putin. I think McCain (and Clinton) both want to see McCain defeat Obama, but McCain will not attack Socialism in order to win.
Our best bet may be to force McCain to step down and allow 2 true conservatives to lead the way to victory.
Huckabee/Palin would beat Obama/Biden hands down, and we would celebrate a renewal of the Reagan Revolution.

Yep. He’s gonna pass a stool. Crap sammich 3.0.
Better get used to it… Southern California is just about Mexico now…
Coming to a city near you…
Aw, c’mon people—-they’re just shooting up the consulates that the Americans won’t shoot up.
Good Lord. Maybe you should have taken the other pill.
How about sending that in big bold letters to the McCain campaign? I have sent emails with similar sentiment and I’d like to believe they are listening. The campaign is at least mentioning names and getting a bit warm. I hope it goes a lot hotter, we only have a few weeks to go.
Just a reminder that La Raza is one of the organizations that the Communist Party USA brags about in their review of “the 2004 Elections: Build the Party, Build the Coalitions”
Probably just a couple of consulate employees who just happened to open their retirement account statements…

That’s $1.6 billion we needed to spend on the USA, not Mexico.
Why the hell are we giving $1.6 billion in aid to a country that’s flush with oil and completely hostile to ur objectives?
Oh yeah… we have dimwits at all levels of government. I forgot.
“WHY DO THEY HATE US SO?????” We need to sit down and talk with them. Kum-bay-ya.
No. 16, that sounds just nutty. But not really. There has to be SOMETHING that explains the total political incoherence that is John McCain. Your theory seems as plausible as anything else.
It’s obvious McCain is not running on behalf of Republicans or people of remotely conservative bent. We have no one to speak for us, and he seems to like that just fine.
McCain tied in with ChiComs? and Ms. Hillary? Why not? There ain’t no other good explanation. Why else would an American statesman advocate that the nation’s southern borders be completely abdicated?
Never have I felt such a sense of doom. Republicans are going down without a fight, and this great nation has no one to speak up for her. She’s been bound, gagged and tossed in the river with cement shoes on, and McCain likes that just fine.
Rob is right, coming to a city near you.
Those two need more training.
bring our troops home from europe, korea, japan, africa, and iraq/ afghanistan asap and put them along our borders with shoot on sight orders for people entering at unofficial locations. i know, posse commitate laws, but they can be overridden in times of war and national emergency. if we could lock up asians for the duration just 60 years ago, surely we can find a modern day black jack pershing to start a war with mexico.
Well, I hope the police can track down these 9 “undocumented” people and help them arrange a home loan, register to vote and get their kids enrolled in public school or college.
I’d be curios to see daily muder rates comparing Mexico and Iraq. In Iraq they’re called terrorists. Meanwhile, in America, the Mexican
cartelsterrorists expand their influence daily. On October 13th, 2008 at 3:59 pm, Gregor said:
It is difficult to think of these people as human beings. I know they are but look at their behavior. So selfish. While at the Chinese buffet here in my town last Saturday we had to sit by a family of those from down south. They had 6 of the most beautiful children with them and I didn’t hear one word of english. The mother coughed and didn’t even consider covering her mouth. I feel sorry for the upbringing those precious little children will be getting. I even hate myself for feeling this way but what I saw was nothing but disease spreading vermin as far as the parents were concerned and I’m sure the little ones will grow up to be the same.
more like a couple of dozen according to this report…

Tom Tancrdo, Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter were all strong on Immigration control–as in NO AMNESTY. But they had just one point: Enforce the law as written. Tome Tancredo was my guy from day one–I don’t know who was the other guy who voted for him.

No doubt, but I hate to break the news to you …
Huckabee is NOT “the Lord.”
Don’t say that too loudly or Huck will get upset….
Of course no, this would go against their whole philosophy of supporting mexico.
Even if McCain wins, nothing will get done with a dem majority in the senate. The only hope we have is for a lot of dems to lose in Congress also! I am still in shock here in Minnesota that Stuart Smalley, otherwise known as Al Freaky Franken, was declared the winner of the debate this weekend by a large margin! God help us in Minnesota, we may have him as our senator!
How the hell do you go from Jesse Ventura to Al Franken?
Seriously, what are you people smoking?
Anyone know if I can get a Irish Citizenship, since I’m of Irish decent? When the Anointed one gets in I’m leaving, before he stops us from leaving.
A good nothing would be nice for awhile. Better than a whole of of something should BroBama win or BeltwayJohnny start reaching across the isle again.

well it is working marvelously, now isn’t it? not only are this acts of war happening, but there are some mexican ‘gardeners’ keeping american government officials from the agriculture bureau. seems the ap can only call them gardeners instead of marijuana drug lords. hmmmm. yes, just fabulously, our government welfare handouts are working nationally and internationally just swell, don’t you think?
i say stop the handouts. screw them and build the border. put the military on our border to help organize the situation there and get us out of the UN. my goodness! our government officials are so busy hating us average every day legal citizens so much they cannot even see how their actions impede their own way of life. because eventually these actions will not be happening to our consulate offices, but here at home at the various local governmental offices, i am afraid this will be sooner than later. even if Obamitler is elected, they are not going to love us any better.
We grow some great loco weed up here in the northland! Actually, I will admit right here and now, I voted for Jesse Ventura! The other two candidates, Norm Coleman and Skip Humphrey, were really lame at the time and Jesse had some pretty good ideas. Unfortunately, he let the whole thing go to his head. It was fun for a while. Al Franken will NOT be fun. He is a nasty, horrible man.
THERE’S THE ANSWER!!!
Palin/Ventura!!
Video here
Just remember that Nov 4th.
I weep.
I say build our fence, to heck with Mexico and all those drug smugglers.
Screw the fence. Build an alligator filled moat.
Sounds better than what we have now!
Build our fence, but make it electric. Powered by solar and wind to keep the enviro wackos happy.
It would only take about 20 minutes to destroy the entire mexican government and then instill our own.
It would cost a hell of a lot less in my opinion.
Oh, and by the way, I live in Arizona and have traveled into mexico for about 41 years, so liberal douche bags, please don’t even start with me. I would destroy you in a second on this topic.
I am outraged…and shocked!!! HOW DARE those injured people block entry to the USA of those poor, deserving illegal aliens. There must be something they can be charged with for standing in the way of their pursuit of freedom !! If one of those injured has a sneaker imprint from one of those illegals stamped on their forehead perhaps that will be enough evidence to prosecute them for forming an illegal blockade to our newest Americanos!!!
I’m not from S.C. BUT I saw part of a debate on CSPAN between Linseedy Grahamnesty and Bob Conley(?) tonight…..I hope Grahamnesty gets his lily livered AXE handed to him on a silver platter…….Conley looked and sounded pretty good to me……..Tell that BIGOT to shut up Bob!! Tell him to get packing!!!

My comment was in response to your saying “Good Lord”.
The LORD is good, and I never said Mike Huckabee is “the Lord”.
Coming back to politics, Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul were the only two Republicans who fought to the finish line against McCain.
I believe McCain was ready to pick a pro-choice VP, and the only reason McCain picked Palin is because Huckabee’s delegates threatened to walk out of the convention if McCain picked a pro-choice VP. McCain picked Palin in order to prevent a mutiny at the convention. If you like having Palin on the ticket, thank Mike Huckabee and his delegates.
Conservatives would have had even more leverage against McCain if Romney had kept his word to “fight all the way to tthe convention”.
I wish Romney had kept his word.
The local El Paso news today was that another 11 people died in drug gang murders in Juarez, Mexico–on the other side of the Rio Grande. This brings the death toll up to 1100 so far this year–more than New York City, Iraq U.S. casualties, etc. The police are no longer investigating murders–this is like investigating deaths on the Normandy beaches during WW2–too many shooters and bodies.
No effective fences or legal crossing checks here yet. My American / Hispanic family no longer visits family members in Juarez–too dangerous with the shootouts and kidnappings / car jackings.
What problem? Both O’Bummer and McCain are very weak on the border / illegal alien problems.

Lib cestpool, the Nickelodeon Channel, is running their “Kids Pick the President” online election. Anyone can vote. I just voted about 50 times. Log on! Vote Often. See what it’s like to be an ACORN voter.
http://www.nick.com/kpp/
Incidentally, they’ve run this over the past ten years, and Gore and Kerry both won in landslides.
If anyone out there doubts that Nick is an extreme lib endoctrination source to American kids, let me spell it out! Nick pushes everything from Dora the Explorer (who teaches you have to speak Spanish to get from Point A to Point B) to South of Nowhere (which is about a 15 year old girl who discovers she is a lesbian who ends up in a sexual relationship with the “bad girl” of the school).
Since Nick is such a sewer of lib scum, I suggest all HA and MM bloggers just vote away for McCain. Not sure if it will do any good, but what the heck.
…that he disintegrates?
Erin, I see that the Vote! button on the Nick site has a stylized Obama logo in the “o”. They’re not even trying to hide their bias.
Please tell me what you think about this…
ACORN is responsible for possibly the biggest voter fraud in American history. Fannie Mae is responsible for giving 5 MILLION mortgages to ILLEGALS… If 5 million illegals can buy a home in this country, why cant THOSE SAME 5 million register to vote?
