Spread the wealth, swallow the crap sandwiches

I know you all are dying to weigh in.
Plumber to Obama: “Your new tax plan is going to tax me more. Isn’t it?”
Obama: “It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody that is behind you, that they have a chance for success too. I think that when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
Crap Sandwiches: It’s what’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

rich – there is a link to a video on another thread someone posted about a former KGB agent. Deals with ideological subversions and active measures.
I was listening to it and i was a little creeped out to tell you the truth.

Otherside better hope Obama is a strong president, if not his administration will be ground meat.
I have a co-worker from China. He was born there and came to the US at 18. He came up to me and just flat out said.
“Do you believe what is going on with these banks…and the goverment taking them over. I thought this was America. I dont understand. This is exactly what happend in my country…how do we stop this”.
Hand on Bible and cross my heart. His words exactly.
Obama makes Cubans uncomfortable too. You’ll never guess why.
We can only pray that when Americans go into the voting booth that they prove to have the sense to pull the Right lever…
While he wasnt a drop out, a good friend of mine drove a beer truck right out of high school. He was always in the money, while I was living off mayo sandwiches in college.
But I always knew that 20 years later, unfortunatley, he would still be driving a truck and I would be a millionaire.
Funny how times are. This summer my son was at a random place at a wild party at a camping area. He was telling me about this guy driving one of those $1/2 Mil campers with a big SUV and a boat with girls hanging all over his toys.
Turns out my poor uneducated friend from high school is now an executive with that beer company…. (and Im not a millionaire lol)
Maybe because they are the ones who get off their asses and WORK for something they want – as opposed to garbage like you and your ilk who would rather smoke dope and drink all day, pick up a welfare check, and cry about how unfair it is that someone else has more money than you do, dumbass.
ENVY. That’s all it is … ENVY.
Meanwhile, ride (lock your doors first) through any “poor” neighborhood in any state in the country and what do you see? Kids wearing $300 sheepskin jackets and $200 sneakers, satellite dishes, expensive cars (probably being hidden from repo men).
You want more than you have? GET A JOB AND WORK FOR IT!
It’s just that I wish the poor people and the black community had it, so I’m gonna give it to them, instead of letting you keep what you worked for.
You were warned, Biden told everyone “We’re going to TAKE it from you, it’s PATRIOTIC.”
feebiebabe, this is communism plain & simple… it is do or die time cause all of these posts are recorded & will be used against us at or trials if we even get trials… as far as your Chinese friend goes, sorry sucka no double jeopardy in politics. Don’t worry too much about the future cause we don’t have one… just take as many of them as you can with you
LOL Bruce, tell them how you really feel. LOL like that chick with the big screen t.v. not getting enough of our money.
Why is his brother living in a hut?
The man is nothing more than a televangelist on steroids.
My comment to McCain/Palin Campaign. Does this make a lot of sense? Who can we send it too? I.m afraid McCain/Palin will lose….
“This is an important election because now we are seeing the difference between two cultures–not just candidates. Both Palin and McCain have been Doers. The Democrats have been leaning more towards promoting Talkers. Their high level candidates are now invariably lawyers. Look at who the Democrats rely upon—Big Media, Trial Lawyers, College students, analysts, community organizers—These are all Talkers. They are not doers who actually produce tangible value in our society.
The political history of Sen. Obama has been to rely upon the Talkers and if he is elected he will base his decisions upon what the “talking heads” in our culture tell him is important, not necessarily what really makes this country work. I was able to see this especially in the VP debate. Palin had no duty to stoop to the level of the questions being asked and she tried to get beyond them, but I did not feel very well. There needs to be a debate of what the real issues will be—and these are defined by a clash between the cultures of Conservative Doers vs. Liberal Talkers.
Palin and McCain need to speak, heart-to-heart with the American people and not get absorbed in the direction these other voices are pushing.
1. Economic Crisis. This is only in the last year. THE OVERALL HISTORY DURING THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN THAT OF INCREASING PROSPERITY. Corrections in the Markets are a normal part of a prosperous society. Furthermore Democrat pressure on lenders has played a major role in producing the toxic assets that are bringing banks down. Palin should have pounded this fact in. But instead the Moderator (Ifill) defined the question.
2. Criticism of Iraq policy. Prior to the Iraq invasion I never heard from one Democrat any alternative suggestion. They could not, apparently, come up with one. So they should not self righteously criticize now. The Media has invariably played up the blood and gore, with virtually no reporting on the prosperity and stability being created in Iraq. Once again the Moderator defined the issue and Palin did not get past it to the real truth.
3.Experience. Viewed in years of service Biden was a no contest winner. It would be better to talk about whose viewpoint would coincide with our most important allies–such as Europe and NATO. Europeans have been rejecting liberal leaders and electing conservative ones: Sarkozy, Merkel, Karamanlis, Berlusconi, Silva. Eastern Europeans are also choosing conservative leaders. London has elected a conservative Mayor. It is important that we see eye to eye with our European allies. Having a common viewpoint would produce a lot more valuable diplomatic effort than all the combined years of experience Biden might muster. This should not even be an issue.
4. Energy. Our current economic crisis is largely due to high energy prices and that is due to insane, liberal opposition to petroleum exploration that has now come to a head. However, Democrats, here, are hitting on a very important issue; we need new industries to produce jobs. Alternative energy sources will do that. And that is why Democrats are gaining so much strength in the upper Midwest. I think Palin would support this, but she did not say very much about it. JOBS ARE AN IMPORTANT, CRITICAL ISSUE. Even if it takes government spending Republicans need to get the upper hand on this one!!! Instead they are letting the Democrats own this issue.
Last issue: Obama is a recast of Lyndon Baines Johnson. LBJ created the Great Society—-and even Democrats would agree that this failed. Clinton had to reverse a lot of their programs because people abused them too much. I think Obama would create a “Great Society; Part Two.” We are already headed in that direction and it is, this time, an Internationalized Version. For example, our Social Security system is being routinely abused by foreign citizens. The influx of illegal immigrants is another symptom of this new welfare system–sytematically removing American jobs in the process. The Doers in America–like Sarah Palin’s evangelical friends–are already doing what can be done to help poorer countries. Liberals should join in with them instead of criticizing them and promoting the slow destruction of American jobs through their internationalized welfare system.
I want to see if McCain and Palin would go after the tax cheaters who are undermining our financial stability. There is $350 Billion of uncollected tax revenue every year and this is why Social Security is in trouble. From my experince in blue collar trades and working in a union, I know that people treat government contracts like a joke—and that the extent of the black market and unreported income is huge. Both Palin and McCain need to stand up for honest Americans and hold Democrats who belittle authority accountable.
I believe the culture that Gov.Palin belongs too are honest, constructive people, ready to help. The culture Obama and Biden belong to are schemers and critics and people who make money from trouble–like many lawyers do.
McCain/Palin need to point out that they belong to a different culture than the liberals. And they need to CONNECT with the American people and disregard what these debate moderators think.”
Sincerely,
falling off my chair with laughter
Good image of the day
McCain and Palin are “Doers!!”
The Democratic Party has become the party of Big Talkers i.e. academics, media, lawyers, analysts, etc.
This world needs “Doers!!”
OT was the lady Obama was kissing Patricia Allen? SHe’s the one that just ruined Congressman McPhony’s future.
Brobama is taking your money pal, get used to it.
Leave my American dream and my gready 80 hr work week alone.
GEEEEEEESSSS!!!!!!
I really think my head is going to explode! Who are these “Americans” extolling the virtues of socialism/Marxism?? WTH!!! Socialism has failed EVERYWHERE IT HAS BEEN TRIED. It eliminates the precious middle-class, you know the ones the democrats pretend to care so much about.
If you want what your neighbor has here’s a novel approach- WORK FOR IT!!!
Fascinating how a reader of Obama’s statement jumps on it as her/his chance to get into someone else’s pocket.
It’s not just a marginal tax rate in operation here; it’s actual redistribution because Obama is going to give back to those who didn’t pay in.
This is how Obama gets votes, buying it from those with their greedy little hands out. Trust me, we are not wealthy, but I simply don’t think I could consciously live off what someone else earned.
I’ve often wondered about those who take welfare and their disconnect with the people paying their bills. Why are we the bad guys?
40% of workers don’t pay taxes. 70% of those are voting for Obama. I’d like to see a breakdown of voters for each candidate by taxpayers and non-taxpayers. I’m going to assume more taxpayers are voting for McCain than are voting for Obama.
Great Idea. Up in the Great NW, we’re just waiting for Obama to start sending the UW Huskies and WSU Cougars some points from Florida and USC to help their games be a little closer. It’s not fair that some work hard and do better.

If a company goes overseas hit em up at 75% tax,
Okay smartie, a company goes overseas, now you have what….a couple hundred unemployed? Now you need to further tax the rich to pay for them, oops, another company goes overseas, wow, another few hundred unemployed….Do you see where this is going? Or is it just too perfect in your utopia world that your brain turned off?

Image: the Fairy tale is over. “the one” is toast.
Yeah, the one does not need the plumber’s vote, there were more votes behind them that needed their share of his success.
aj,
Love your optimism… we need more of it around these parts.
Go ‘Cuda!… oh and the old dude on the ticket.
I just realized I can start a fake company and get a contract with the Commerce Dept. to work in Iraq where I’ll bill out $300 million for digging holes in the desert. Taxes? Pfffft. I found a way around them pal.
The Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto noticed that in Italy back in the day, 20% of the population had 80% of the resources. In 1992, a UN report showed that worldwide, 20% of the population had 82.7% of the resources. ‘Twil always be, those on the ball will increase their share, those snoozing will be loozing.
Obama can take it all away and give it to the poor, and in a decade or so, 20% of the population will still have 80% of the resources. Of course that 20% might be apparachniks and thugs (including Congress)…
I worked hard for what I have and my parents worked VERY hard to leave me what they have.. KISS MY ASSS OBAMA. I wish ill on you and your b!tch of a wife! HOW DARE YOU and you liberal losers try to take my family savings!
Today I heard a black guy on Hannity say that his black friends are excited that Obama is going to take the money from the white people and give it to the blacks.
I am NOT a happy camper. HOW did we get stuck with a wimpy pusssy like McMnesty ??? ARGHHHHHHH
30 seats are they nuts? Don’t answer that.

Long story short – I turned down a monthly disability check. Boy, am I kicking myself now.

No. I just meant that particular thread, rightisright. It’ll take much more than that to push me away for good.
As a tax paying resident of California, I screwed. There is income tax, property tax, sales taxes, bridge tolls, gas taxes, and numerous fees. The the state decides to afflict it citizens with public parking fees, and why not the numerous traffic tickets. With all this income, the state is still broke and wants to tax its working citizens even more. California rewards bad behavior and choices.
The people I know using section 8 housing, receiving food stamps, free medical, welfare, etc. spend money on things that are totally not necessary. I hardly ever use my air conditioner or heater, because I want to save my money for other things. These people get their utilities at a reduced rate and run these things all the time. If I ran my utilities that much, I wouldn’t be able to afford groceries.
GOOD! 30
Ugh. That was depressing. A 60+ Dem senate that would make it filibuster proof. Why bother even having ANY Republicans anymore!
I’m getting really discouraged. Here is the most UNethical do-nothing congress, and yet, they are going to gain ground?
I just don’t get it. Ever since they took over in 2006, the country has turned for the worse.
BAL,
I’m reluctant to concede that this thing is over. It plays right into the Dems hands if we are deflated. Try not to get discouraged… and more importantly don’t give them the satisfaction. It ain’t over ’til it’s over.
Night all.
Obama: “It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that ………. you are taxed so much that you have to continue to work hard all your life. I need to keep you hungry enough so that you will continue to work so I can use your money to give to life’s losers and illegals so they will continue to vote for me and The Party.
FIXED IT.
We have no poor in this country. After having just come back from 3 weeks in the Philippines, my gut aches when hearing complaints from ANY person in this country about our economic position…
Obama is like some space alien who arrives on earth spouting gibberish from a strange book. After months of effort the title alone is finally translated: To Serve America. But the text of the book remains a mystery.
Still, everyone thinks that the title is cool enough so they elect the alien president. But then just as he is about to be sworn in, someone rushes forward to the podium and screams into the mike that the full text has now been translated and . . . To Serve America is a “cook book.”
Apologies to the late Damon Knight and the Twilight Zone.
No one listens to this…
Don’t you think we are heading back to dependence?????
The Philippines was granted idependance from Spain in 1898. Might be a good place to spend the next ninety years or so.
Back to dependence????!!!!
Rob, re: Don’t you think we are heading back to dependence?????
First off, good post. But no, as grave as the danger is, Tyler never considered a modern, well armed & informed people that actually had something to loose… they want to bring us back to dependence, but the genie is out of the bottle.
Good one!
I remember seeing that “How to Serve Man” epidode of “The Twilight Zone” way back then!
Why should it be so fascinating? These cretins have been into our pockets for generations from Welfare!
This is the result of the destruction of instruction in history and economics.
NEVER…in all the history of the world…
AND
NOT anywhere else on this planet currently…
are there so many living the dream their ancestors could hardly have comprehended.
We live better than kings of a few hundred years ago, and better than any other people on the face of the earth in our own time.
Yet, those like Obama can tell lies with impunity, because the voices that protest those lies are muffled by the condition of ignorance and collusion in our nation.
I think there is the very big danger that we are already in the early stages of bondage.
I am so glad I spent 6 monthes in India and learned:
1. You can clean yourself without tissue paper.
2. There are lots of tasty ways to prepare beans and rice. They are cheap and keep for years if stored properly. Ditto for dried herbs.
3. I live where we have a well. Water is sort of okay. (Knew I should have bought a stockpile of those cheap filter bottles from johnmccain.com!)
4. I know how to sew and have a stockpile (10 boxes of various kinds of material.)
Hugh Hewitt had a whole radio show dedicated to those greedy plumbers! Lots of funny calls in to the show.
Thank you. I was worried the reference would fly over everyone’s head. But I thought it was worth the risk, even if it meant hinting at my true age.
For only a small consultants fee, I’ll tell you the best place to manufacture them and where to move them. Its tricky, you NEED an expert.
Cut me in on the US governments money and I will be more than happy to share a little of my Nigerian bank account also. It seems that someone in the government over there trusts me enough to let me hold onto a few million of his dollars if I can come up with some earnest money to hold the account open for him.
Why would he do that? He stands to get a Presidential pardon and a big cash payoff if he keeps his mouth shut..
“I think what the Republicans have done in past elections is brilliant. Because, they’ve convinced a lot of people to vote for them against their own economic self-interest, and they’ve done that by skillfully manipulating a handful of social issues, primarily abortion and gay rights and sometimes gun control,” he says. “And the Republicans have used those to scare a lot of people into voting for Republican candidates. It’s skillful manipulation.”
- John Grisham
And screw U. I work pretty damn hard for my money. I pay a lot in taxes and I donate a lot to charity. I bet a lot more percentage wise then U do.
How about this. Go out and learn something and do something that becomes a success. People take a lot of risks to make that money. What the hell did you do?
Defeatests, stop being a bunch of fainting goats.
It ain’t over til it’s over.
I know what you mean. There are scumbags that live next door to me and they leave their outside lights on 24/7.
In the summer I could hear the forced air unit going all the time.
I have a swamp cooler and like you I’m going to use my fireplace to heat so I don’t use as much natural gas.
I’m in Kern county though so things here aren’t as bad as where you are as this area is real conservative for the most part.
95% get a tax cut is a skillful manipulation.
Every time I go shopping, I see people that I’m sure and in some case know for a fact make a fraction of what I earn arriving in cars that cost far more than mine. They then proceed to fill their carts with overpriced junk and head to the cash register to pay with credit cards, which I also imagine don’t get paid at the end of each month so the charges start adding up fast.
Now, I am a firm believer in letting people do what they want with their lives. They can smoke, drink, gamble, have sex with all their friends , fill their house with electronic gadgets, spend incredible sums on glamour vacations, buy rent to own furniture and go to bars and restaurants every night. It is all fine with me, really. But dammit, I AM SICK OF PAYING TAXES FOR PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE THAT ENJOY COMFORTS I FEEL I CANNOT AFFORD! I work hard, live comfortably yet simply but always have money whenever I need it and never sweat paying the bills. Yet I am 100% sure I will be punished for my efforts with higher taxes in an Obama administration to pay for programs for the so-called poor.
My financial stability was not inherited, nor was it easy to come by and can easily be lost in short time with a relatively few reckless decisions. I will not be shamed or made to feel guilty for what I have by the greedy, lazy left. If they want more out of life, let them work harder and stop spending money they don’t have. It really isn’t that complicated.
That is still one of my favorites!!! Along those lines how about BHO as the kid who sends people to the corn field if they speak bad of him?
He’s a good candidate can’t say anything for the fear of being banished to the fields. Kind of ironic don’t you think????
Not to rain on your parade because I think the same way, but they could be using a debit card.
I know not likely but then again you never know. I’m a debit card junkie.
It’s tyranny plain and simple. America has been defeated by Socialism. We took it lying down. It’s over.
Could be but I doubt it. From my experience people that by lots of expensive clothes, gadgets, home furnishing etc..use credit cards because it hurts less in the short term. I stopped using credit cards a while back for general purchase and only use them while traveling or emergencies. I found, as you probably have also, that I watch my purchases much more closely and spend less money.
Kill your credit card before it kills you!
Ya know.. If McCAin doesn’t call Obama out on this and make a BIG deal about it, then he.. McCain is just a huge dope.
I can’t believe Obama actually spoke that into a mic. Actually.. I do.
Obama: I want to take your money and kiss your wife!

Followers of “Black Liberation Theology” believe that white people can’t “repent” of slavery until they have “given back what they took” (i.e., reparations). Obama was never a slave, and I was never a slave owner, but Obama wants to take more away from me so that my “repentance can be real”.
Obama is “inspired” to bring this “Empire to its knees”.
Who said that?
Was it former pastor Mike Huckabee?
No, it was former President Ronald Reagan.
Go re-read Reagan’s speech. It’s never been more relevant than right now.
Lib cestpool, the Nickelodeon Channel, is running their “Kids Pick the President” online election. Anyone can vote. I just voted about 50 times. Log on! Vote Often. See what it’s like to be an ACORN voter.
http://www.nick.com/kpp/
Incidentally, they’ve run this over the past ten years, and Gore and Kerry both won in landslides.
If anyone out there doubts that Nick is an extreme lib endoctrination source to American kids, let me spell it out! Nick pushes everything from Dora the Explorer (who teaches you have to speak Spanish to get from Point A to Point B) to South of Nowhere (which is about a 15 year old girl who discovers she is a lesbian who ends up in a sexual relationship with the “bad girl” of the school).
Since Nick is such a sewer of lib scum, I suggest all HA and MM bloggers just vote away for McCain. Not sure if it will do any good, but what the heck.
That was totally cool yo!!! It was like I was almost feeling like I was livin large in da hood 2nit!
Since my great-grand-parents couldnt be here to vote, I had to give a shout out for them ya kno. And my grand-parents always wanted to vote Dem in the depression, so I had to represent and give props to my man McCain who was like IN the depression. And word to my parental units, since theys couldnt be here either, I had to do right by them and vote as often as they would have.
Now I gots to go back ands votes for mes some too. Aight.
Obama: “It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody that is behind you, that they have a chance for success too. I think that when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
If you used to employ 5 people, now you’ll only have enough money to employ 3. The government will pay the other two with money it’s borrowing from your grandkids. It’s good for everybody!
I was talking with my old man last night, a Chicagoan his entire life, except the 6 years he did in the Navy during Vietnam. Here are a few excerpts:
Gas in Bartlett is $3.30 right now. (Here in No VA, it’s about the same, after the Gerry Connelly “bilk’em for all they are worth” tax). If he drives back home to DuPage county, it’s $3.69. All taxes. But, if he drives to the land of Milk and Honey (aka Chicago) for work, it’s hovering around $3.89.
He’s been robbed at gunpoint twice this year in the city (Didn’t Obama and his friends ban guns, then step up Federal enforcement at the tune of hundreds of millions, because CPD is basically corrupt and worthless?), and both times they took broken computer equipment.
Parking is $18.00/hour, and all the parking is city run.
Forget nickel and dime, folks. The Democrats, under a Chicago politician, will dollar and “fin” us to death.
So here’s my question, for the debates:
Sen. Obama, you have stated that you will increase taxes for everyone earning greater than $250,000. In DC, where I live and work, the home prices have risen extremely rapidly under your “equal housing” plans to the point where $250,000 annually barely qualifies you to get property, let alone pay the other costs of living. In you home town, gas averages $.50-$.80 above the national average, and in most major cities gas trends higher than the surrounding area averages. When you levy this tax, what are you plans for these large cities like Chicago, LA, and New York, which for the most part will become vacant due to the collapse of incomes your taxes will cause?
