Jack Murtha, the pork-stuffed corruptocrat infamous for libeling our troops, has now moved on to libeling voters in his own district.
He agrees with Barack Obama’s assessment that Pennsylvanians are nothing but a bunch of bitter, clingy, bigoted rednecks.
Why is this man still in office?
U.S. Rep. John Murtha said today he expects Democratic nominee Barack Obama to carry Pennsylvania in next month’s presidential election.
Mr. Murtha, a 17-term Democrat from Johnstown, told the Post-Gazette’s editorial writers he sees momentum building in Mr. Obama’s campaign across the state for the general election after he lost his party’s April primary to Hillary Clinton. He thinks Republican John McCain’s efforts have been stymied by the country’s economic crisis.
“I think Obama is going to win, but I don’t think it’s going to be a runaway,” he said. “I think he wins Pennsylvania.”
Mr. Murtha said it has taken time for the state’s voters embrace a black presidential candidate.
“There’s no question Western Pennsylvania is a racist area,” said Mr. Murtha, whose district stretches from Johnstown to Washington County. “The older population is more hesitant.”

Lt. Col. (ret), Bill Russell the Republican nominee in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District, responded today to new comments from Rep. Jack Murtha calling Western Pennsylvania “a racist area.”
According to an article posted on Post-Gazette.com, Murtha made the following statements to reporters regarding Barack Obama’s prospects in the upcoming presidential contest: “There’s no question Western Pennsylvania is a racist area.” Murtha would make similar comments to the Pittsburgh-Tribune Review saying, “Obama has got the problem of the racist issue in Western Pennsylvania.”
Russell responded saying, “Once again Mr. Murtha is using the prestige and platform of public office to make wild, reckless statements about the people he represents in Congress.” Adding, “Because the people of Western Pennsylvania aren’t embracing Barack Obama’s values and positions on issues like the right-to-life, taxes and the 2nd Amendment doesn’t makes us racist. That’s the cheapest of cheap shots.”
Russell said Murtha’s latest comments reveal a “strange, arrogant disconnect from the people who live and work in Western Pennsylvania. He forgets that this is a melting pot of hard-scrapping immigrants. My wife Kasia is a Polish immigrant; my neighbors in Johnstown trace their ancestry to all corners of the earth. He needs to apologize. He needs to set the record straight.”

That looks like a recent picture, he looks upset, must have been campaigning, pandering to racists.
I think the left has used the racist rant so much this racist isn’t even phased by them calling me one. I sadly admit I am a racist because I don’t want a Marxist/Socialist Saul Alinsky disciple to rob from those that produce to those that are too lazy to produce. I find it better to be feared then loved by liberals.
To make Congress critter Murtha feel better I was bitterly clinging to my new AR-15 zeroing the flip-up iron sight and the EOTech optics. It was another glorious fall afternoon in the middle of nowhere Idaho with temps in the high 60s and a very light breeze (normal winds run from 10-20 miles per hour). I am really beginning to enjoy my week long staycation.

First of all, I am from Western Pennsylvania and the reason I don’t support Obama is because of his ideology, not because of the color of his skin!
Second, Murtha says that we’re racist, which implies that we won’t vote for Obama because he’s black (well, 1/2 black). Then he says Obama will win Pennsylvania. So which is it? He can’t win PA if no one votes for him. What an idiot.

I grew in PA and find Murtha horrid! My family and friends from J-town may be naive in some ways, but they are not racist. They are good hearted people.

I can understand the selfish motives of those who think they will get some of that wealth Obama says he will spread around. But what I don’t understand is why there are so many plumbers, dentist, doctors, and other successful professionals and small business owners who support Obama.
If you like the causes Obama supports, there is nothing stopping you from donating your money to those causes right now. Why would you prefer that the government take the money from you by force? How do you know that an ever-changing government won’t use your money, once they have control of it, to fund causes you abhor?
Can anyone tell me why otherwise intelligent and successful people think that government bureaucrats will do a better job of spending their money than they will? What is the upside of giving a bigger portion of your property and freedom to the government? That’s the mystery I can’t comprehend.

I have lost all faith that our system of “free elections” has not been completely compromised. I mean, the fraud is going to be so complete that it wouldn’t surprise me if the Dems won EVERY seat in the House, and every contested seat in the Senate this year. Also, after Obama is made our first Kenyan-born president, this will probably be the last presidential election in most of our lifetimes.

Well, what do you think? Here in Michigan every city in the state is a Democrat stronghold, and they are ALL rat holes. Detroit and Flint are among the most horrible places to live in the country, yet the people KEEP VOTING DEMOCRAT.
All you have to do to see what an Obama presidency will do to the whole country is see what the Dems have done to the state of Michigan. Unemployment in this state is nearly 10% (in Detroit it’s 12.7%). And, it will only get worse once “THE ONE” gets in the White House.
Think what it’ll be like once his Soviet-style utopia is in place. All you have to do is find videos of what people face in Cuba and North Korea.
