Keep talking, Smirky: Biden attacks Joe the Plumber; Gaffetastic Joe B. spells “J-O-B-S,” a “three-letter word”
Scroll for snort-worthy update…
Pssst.
Hey, Joe “Home Depot” Biden.
Maybe it’s not such a good idea to be dissin’ small business owners when your ticket has a well-earned reputation as condescending, out-of-touch snobs.
On second thought: Keep talking, Smirky.

Smirky Joe’s got some nerve challenging the veracity of anyone else’s blue-collar bona fides, doesn’t he?
“During the debate, Joe Biden gave several Delaware shout-outs, including Wilmington’s Union Street… Maybe, I heard this wrong, or misunderstood, but I think he mentioned Katie’s restaurant…… Wilmington used to have a Katie’s restaurant – way back in the day – and it was in Little Italy, as is Union Street, but I’m almost positive Katie’s wasn’t on Union Street. And it hasn’t been Katie’s in, well, years. Maybe he said Kozy’s – as in Kozy Korner?” — The News Journal

Joe Biden: He’s just like you and me…except, he’s not.

Lorie Byrd notes that the attacks on Joe the Plumber are ratcheting up:
Some idiot liberal bloggers are saying there is a big scandal because Joe the Plumber doesn’t make $250,000 and would (GASP) actually get a tax cut under Obama’s plan! I could not make the case against their liberal socialist plan any better than they themselves are. Hey, rocket scientists, here is what Joe said: “I’m getting ready to buy a company that makes about 250, 270 – 80 thousand dollars a year, your new tax plan is going to tax me more isn’t it? I’m getting taxed more and more for fulfilling the American dream.” Got that? He didn’t say he makes that now. You should have gotten the clue when he said “I am getting ready to buy a company.” Evidently the Obama talking points went out saying Joe doesn’t make $250,000 and the idiot lib bloggers ate it up and didn’t bother watching the actual comment Joe the Plumber made, but rather reported this fact as some big Republican lie.
Brace yourself, Joe. The Obama Thugocracy is gunning for you. But what they don’t seem to understand is that even if Joe was John McCain’s long lost son and a huge donor to the GOP, or not even a plumber, it would not matter at all because what was shocking about the video was not what Joe the Plumber said. Joe the Plumber is not going to be making tax policy. What was shocking and more relevant than anything else that has been said in the entire campaign is what Barack Obama said. He told Joe that it is okay to soak those making more than $250,000, even small businesses making that, because then you can “spread the wealth” around and everyone benefits. That is redistribution of wealth — taking from the rich (and from the kinda rich) and giving to the not so rich and the poor. And Obama admitted to it. Out loud. And on video.

Update: Snort advisory warning. Joe Biden, skilled orator and lifelong U.S. Senator, says “J-O-B-S” is a “three-letter word.”
Can you imagine if Sarah Palin had said this?

IF the plan is for people like “Joe the Plumber” to get us out of our financial mess. On the shoulders of Small business, you wouldn’t want to handicap them, with mandatory regulations and heap some extra taxes on them. This is the out look for the Employment rate right now. IF Joe Plumber, and his peers are going to dig us out, we shouldn’t be putting up obstacles in their way.

Obama thinks Government Programs, as in Investment? Government collecting more of our tax payer dollars, are the answer. Socialism doesn’t work, if there is no incentive to work, to create the climate for jobs creation, to create the product- That Obama’s poor folks- who have the wealth spread to them, would buy “No Product, because Obama made it to expensive to create” so what would the poor folks buy with Joe the Plumbers money? If you follow the reasoning it doesn’t work. Obama says he wants to reduce Bureaucracy but as far as I can tell, that is what he is a Bureaucrat.
I feel like I am living Ayn Rands “Atlas Shrugged” where is John Galt.
Joe the plumber was a plant? LOL. This is nothing more than the MSM complaining about the right wing bias of the American public again.
They hate Joe the Plumber for the same reason they hate Sarah Palin; because they are real, working Americans… not effete elitist snobs.
I know I’m going to be in that upper income bracket in two years because I will be the first to market a bumper sticker: “Don’t blame me, I voted McCain.”
It’s Democrats projecting again. They do it so much, they think everybody does.
The hate Joe the plumber and Sarah because they have working brain cells and they speak the truth. The best weapon against these libtards is truth and lots of it.
Wait, I am the one making the assumption? YOU are the one whose premise lies on an assumption that Obama would radically change the tax law (and I mean really radically).
1) He has never said he would do this and the second he did he would be dead in the water.
2) Even if Obama wanted to, which is absurd, it would never never never pass Congress.
I guarantee you that is Obama moves to change the tax law to tax pure small business revenue, I will publicly denounce him and vote Republican for the next 4 election cycles.
in other words….
From each according to their ability; to each according to their need
and of course only the new bi-racial messiah knows what you really need…
Some people on this thread are offering tax opinions as facts. Unless they offer professional credentials, take it for the junk it is.
As for Obamas plan – what makes you think he will stop there? Do you believe a Democrat congress, senate and president (who may likely be veto proof) will keep their word and not raise our taxes even more? I take that for the junk it is.
98% of small businesses are not less than $250,000 a year GROSS. He has no idea what he is talking about.
And if you are sole-prop. you need to look into your liability as opposed to an LLC.
Incorporating in Nevada and Delaware can be a good way to go. Go on line and find out before it’s to late.
Chap,
I have, I believe, a relevant question. Based on all of Obama’s position changes since his nomination, how can we count on his actually implementing his current tax policy -election?
If you look at his record and his opinions from the past, his philosophy runs counter to his “promised” tax cuts for the “middle class (undefined term).
I think he is a radical socialist. That is demonstrable by his writings, statements, and associations. He will implement policies consistent with those principles. Those policies will crush small business, growth, and average Americans.
Bidet is full of a 3 letter word and it happens to be:
C
R
A
P
CRAP
I have a problem with Obama’s answer to Joe the plumber, as well as his answer to Charlie Gibson. When Gibson pointed out that every time capital gains taxes are raised, revenue drops, when lowered, revenues rise (he cited 3 different cases where this occurred in the past 40 years or so).
Obama answered that it wasn’t about revenue, it was about “fairness”. This is just another example of his underlying socialist tendencies.
That and his 95% of taxpayers will get a tax cut. How can this be when 30% of “taxpayers” actually pay a net of zero taxes (their rebate equals their witholding). What he really means is that they will get money from someone else after the government “launders” it.
Socialism has never worked anywhere it has been tried. Just compare the two Koreas. Capitalist Rhodesia had the 2nd highest per capita GDP in Africa, and was known as the breadbasket of Africa. Socialist Zimbabwe is an economic basket case with inflation in the millions of percents and many of its people are starving. Only socialism is capable of creating starvation in some of the richest farm lands in the world.
In case the comments rolled over before you saww it folks I linked to the government charts defining small business by revenues back in comment #92 … plumbers are still a small business up to 14 million revenue … you might want to go back and check the links in the comment …
If you can tell me where Obama said that the tax applies to gross revenue, which is just fundamentally not how our tax system works, I will relent.
He meant before tax profit, people.
Obama will work harder than he ever has before to give people a tax cut, but he just won’t be able to do it…instead a new carbon tax is necessary to help him save the world, and lower the sea levels…
Patronizing fools these Liberals be.
Thanks DL.
Wrong Chap! When you give someone more money than they paid in taxes it is welfare!!!no matter how you look at it! and when you consider that 33-40% of the people pay NO taxes at all…they will be the recipient of the money since they are part of the 95 percent.
I think it is perfectly reasonable to not trust Obama and to think he will expand taxes more than he is saying. That is a very good reason not to vote for him, if that is what you think.
Here in Oklahoma, we pay taxes on everything we buy – everything. Except for one day a year. On that day sales are through the roof and you’d better get to shopping early because of the crowds.
But of course, it is no indication that people will spend more if they are taxed less../sarc off
Poor choice of words, or actually saying what he thinks? Looks like Joe caught him a little off balance and he blurted out the truth for a change. As to your “point”, it isn’t a “tax cut” if they didn’t owe taxes in the first place. Taking more money from people who earn it to give to people who didn’t is still communism, and yes, we don’t agree with it.
Crazy Uncle Joe ~
he’s good for a laugh, if his (and Obama’s) plans for America weren’t so dangerous!

The difference is, I’m going by what Obama says, you’re hoping you know what he means. You may be right about him not being able to get it through Congress, but that isn’t the point. What he intends is.
Of course, IMO it isn’t even his idea. He’s only parroting what he gets from his handlers, and there’s no telling what they really mean.
Sad part is McCain brought up Joe the plumber more than Joe Biden. Plenty to work with there.
That’s not true.
Let’s say the Federal government needs $1,000 a year to operate. Say that of that budget $500 comes from “the rich” and $500 comes from the middle class. Along comes Obama with a new tax plan, and as a result it’s now $800 from the rich and $200 from the middle class.
That would be a middle class tax cut. That’s what Obama has been making his plan sound like. A zero-sum game where we shift the price tag of government over to people who make / have more money. And we could certainly debate the merits of that.
Obama’s actual goal, as he let slip yesterday, is to take money from “the rich” and use it not to fund government but to directly pay the lower class. To “spread the wealth around”. These people already pay no income tax, which means that “tax credits” amount to simply writing those people a check using money you got from people like me.
Obama has most definitely not been honest about this, because he knows the vast majority of Americans recoil at the thought of such idiocy.
Thank you chap – for implicitly answering my question.
In any event the dice have been rolled and they came up snake eyes. This is not Britain, France, or Norway. The liberals think they now have a referendum to do what they want. They will have a hard time beacuse the people will not stand for it in the end.
Again, if anyone can point me to anywhere that Obama said is going to radically change the tax law to basically eliminate all business expense deductions, please show me.
I don’t know of many Democrats who want to extend the Bush tax cuts. That’s going to raise taxes on a lot more than the top 5%.
This is funny take on CNN/CBS and Times Push Polls make sure you read the comment they make fun of how Frank Luntz of Fox News picks his Poll Groups.
http://thepeoplescube.com/blog.php
People have been discussing his redistributionist rhetoric for quite a few posts now. In order to increase taxes on that top 5%, he’s going to have to radically change tax law anyway. It isn’t written that way.
Chap,
I do not agree that socialism (as evidenced by Obama’s history, his alliances, and his own words) is an acceptable future for this country.
Give me an example of where socialism is working or has worked. I can not think of any country or example in the US where it has long term viability.
If you cite European countries, I will have to take exception – most of them are slowly losing out economically. The demographics of most of those countries are simply not sustainable, which may explain the elections of conservatives recently. Why should we support a candidate for president that espouses non working solutions as his platform?
Can’t connect the dots, Cap? I’ll give you a hint, REZKO! BTW, look who’s feeling the heat from Rezko’s chirping. Where did Obama open up his Presidential Campaign again?
OBTW, that measure of skepticism is not limited to Obama. Same can be said for McCain, Murtha, Pelosi, Biden, Palin, i.e. all politicians.
Their philosophy and past record are the guide to their future proposals and positions. Pre-election rhetoric that is at variance with their past should get anyones attention and NEVER accepted at face value.
People change their minds. That’s okay, but when they do they need to explain the reason why they changed. I give a hat tip to Romney for doing just that.
In Florida, we have tax free week for school and you are right, the sales on that week go through the roof.
Not proof though!
Jarack McBama. Doesn’t matter who gets elected. lol.
“Why raise taxes on anybody?”
History has shown that revenues go up when taxes are lowered. We’re on the right side of the Laffer Curve. But it’s obvious Obummer isn’t so much interested in raising revenue as he is punishing the successful. Typical liberal class envy. Penalize success and you get less of it. Subsidize poverty and you get more of it.
First and foremost, Joe doesn’t make 250K. He WANTS to buy a business. Secondly, Joe Biden lives in a 3+ million dollar home and I know for a fact NO police men, store owner or Joe the plummer could afford to live in Bidens neighborhood, IDIOT!
chapoutier: On his website he doesn’t say weither it is gross or net.
In VA, we have what they call a Tax Holiday the weekend before the local schools open for fall. All the stores are overrun with business then.
txvet2 …
The Bush taxcuts is where the real difference is between the Obama and McCain tax plans …
McCain wants to make the Bush tax cuts permanent and then give tax cuts on top of that …
Obama wants the Bush tax cuts repealed before he applies his tax cuts …
In other words there will already be higher taxes compared to the present levels against which Obama’s plan is applied … which means you don’t really end up with what many are expecting from the rhetoric because they are thinking about the cuts against their current tax levels …
On the other heand it will be the current tax levels against which to the McCain tax cuts will be applied … which means all the analysts are not doing the comparisons correctly … they are not factoring in the difference in the base taxable levels with and without the Bush cuts still in place …
If you want to compare for yourself … go back to your Clinton taxe returns and use those numbers to calculate Obama’s plan and then use your current tax numbers to calculate the McCain plan …
The following link the Americans for Tax Reform website has a calculator on the left side of home page that will compare them for you … be sure to use both sets of numbers mentioned above to see the real differences with and without the Bush cuts ..
ATR Tax Plan Calculator
Biden is a 5 letter word for DOOFUS!
The only weapon we have is to change your withholding to zero and fight tooth and nail for every dollar. Notice I did not say to not pay your taxes. A serious slow down will get their attention. If you go with the flow, they think you approve.
I’ve already seen the numbers, although not on that website. Chapoutier is the one who is trying to argue that Obama’s going to actually cut taxes, and only the top 5% will pay more.
SpeakEasy …
you’ve got it backwards … changing your payroll exemptions to zero allows them to take more out of your paycheck … not less … so that does not slow down anything … you would have to increase your exemptions on your W-4 to have less taken out …
I will never forget Clinton’s tax hike. My gawd it kicked our hineys. We paid additional taxes monthly and still owed at the end of the year. Of course, he promised he wouldn’t raise taxes on the middle class, and he never inhaled and he didn’t have sex with that woman Monica Lewinsky..
Reminds me of someone else..that’s not the crook I knew, that’s not the preacher I knew…I do not endorse ACORN..on and on and on and on…
Quack.walk.duck.
Up to you, but if I recall correctly, they’ll come after you for penalties and interest if you consistently under-withhold.
txvet2 …
understand … but many have not examined that using real numbers … and wasn’t sure if you realized about the Bush cuts approach and its impact …
#146 …
I wasn’t condoning anything was just explaining to SpeakEasy that his premise on causing a slowdown was backwards …
Grabbed the wrong header – I meant that for Speakeasy. Sorry.
Does Joe know that “Joe” is a three letter word too? Just askin’….
It is hard to believe he is a) not the dumbest man in the Senate and b) calling Sarah unqualified.
I AM Joe, the plumber.
Just realized I gave the wrong link on that calculator … that was the 401k calculator … which is still important in the long run … but it was not the income tax one I meant to link … will find the right one and post it … sorry folks …
If my campaign was knee-deep in crap, I’d call for a plumber too.
TheOtherSide said:
The Kool Aid thread is next door pal.
Are you saying Obama needs a plumber?
In his book, Obama refers to his time working for Business International Corp. in New York, as “spying behind enemy lines.”
This would indicate that Obama views corporate America is the enemy. Which would be consistent with the radical socialist viewpoint of a community organizer.
Palin should call out that fool Biden for another VP debate. Either Biden accepts her offer to debate and gets schooled again, or he declines and looks scared of a woman. Either way, it’s a win for McCain-Palin.
In Delaware they don’t have any sales tax and people come far and wide to shop there.
Which is why O’Bidet got his number after the debate.
:Joe The Plumber(JTP) runs over Obummer (literally):
Obummer: “Did you get the number on that car?”
Soap: ROFLMAO – way to go Joe.
Obummer is scared to death of JTP. How is Obummer going to face a real challenge? JTP busted Obummer but good – deal with that!
Now, go and do what you home-boy did, play in trafffic.
First off.. Like Bill Clinton… Obama is saying he is going to cut taxes for many. But he will not. What he WILL do is raise taxes for ALL. Just like Clinton did.
Next, what the hell is going on with Biden’s face? Is he taking up bee keeping? He looks bloated. Maybe all the pressure’s got him drinking too much. He actually sounded like he had a toot or two before both of those clips.
And finally, let me tell you about Joe Biden’s neighborhood. He talks to no one. Had a HUGE estate and doesn’t want people on his property, not even at the street.
So I doubt that Biden even knows any of his neighbors and he probably hasn’t been to Home Depot or any of the other places he’s mentioned on Union Street as anything but a campaign stop in 20 years… as evidenced by the fact that there hasn’t been a Katie’s restaurant in years.
What a maroon.
I got to admit that was funny.
That’s a really good idea, especially if it’s a Town Hall type setting. She’d be able to call him out on all the foolish things coming out of his pie-hole.
Yeah. Delaware makes all its money clogging up the most important artery on the east coast.
Still unsure of where JTP stands… check this out.
Maybe you should share that with Biden… I doubt he knows or even cares.
Isn’t Biden from Delaware?
Now that you’re back, next tax topic: The Democrat congressional leadership is floating a plan to tax 401k’s and other tax-deferred retirement plans. Does that count as part of Obama’s tax cut for 95% of the population?
We need a little more specificity when it comes to taxes. At present, four out of five working people pay more payroll and self-employment taxes than income taxes. Yet to hear it from Congress, payroll and self-employment taxes were handed down to us from Mount Sinai on stone tablets. These levies amount to 15% of our earnings. This means that a self-employed individual earning $10,000, which happens to be less than the minimum wage, would owe the IRS around $1,400 based on the Schedule SE formula. How is anyone supposed to earn a living with that kind of burden? The self-employment tax, in my opinion, is the largest generator of cheating on tax returns that I know.
I don’t know anything about it.
And what do you mean “tax”? Tax up front? Because as you know, those are just tax deferral plans.
Oh man, Joe (the Biden, not the plumber) is killing me! THIS is why I had been hoping Obama would pick him for his running mate.
McCain did well last night. He missed some opportunities, but he still did very well. Fortunately, Joe the plumber got involved in the mix, and McCain made Joe the plumber an issue by repeatedly making him the centerpiece of the debate. This could very well be what McCain needs in these last couple of weeks to ride to the Whitehouse.
Democrats support a wife-beating, child abusing, bad cop; but they attack an honest plumber who’s just trying to earn a living.
When did I wake up in the evil Spock-has-a-goatee universe?
Yes, tax up front. I do understand those are tax-deferred, which is why I said so. When you try to imply I’m stupid, you are simply confirming your lack of reading comprehension.
That’s the problem. He won’t commit. But,
based on his penchant for voting for tax increases and socialistic beliefs, he will take enough to keep you from getting ahead but, not quite enough to keep you from trying.
I realize you said tax deferred. I just wanted clarification. Which is also why I said “as you know.”
Touchy.
And taxing up front 401(k) would destroy them by making them absolutely irrelevant. I would like to know where you read that this was being floated by democratic leadership.
I saw it in various places earlier in the week. I don’t recall specifically where, but it wasn’t a blog. You are correct, of course. Taxing them would remove most of the incentive for having them. Of course, there would still be the employer matching funds to consider, but that would also result in a higher tax on current income, making them unattractive.
Instead of watching FOX News on election night, I may just watch msnbc, especially if Chris Tingle Matthews and Campbell Brown are on. I will only watch during the time the actual results come in. This could be the first time in history we would see two very well known commentators’ heads explode on live TV. That would be a hoot. I remember watching Campbell Brown on NCB when Bush beat John Kerry. She was having a lot of trouble trying not to cry. Seriously, she was really upset and couldn’t help but show it. If McCain wins, I want to see the reaction of the left, not that I would rub it in, because I do want to live a while longer. If Obama wins, I will just retire to the bedroom and get down on my knees, and stay there.
I just listened to the Hot Air radio interview with “Joe”. This guy is solid, unpretentious and sharp.
I really liked the part where he said he approached some of his customers with Obama signs in their front yard, and politely asked “May I ask you about why you are voting for Obama”. He said 4 out of 6 said “CHANGE and HOPE”. So he tells them “Tell ya what, I’m gonna rip up this bill if you can tell come up with something else…” He said one guy asked if he could go call and ask someone for an answer.
You’ve got to hand it to him, here he is, putting HIS money where his mouth is and all they have to do is come up with ONE other reason why they are voting for them besides HOPE and CHANGE – and they can’t.
Joe then gets to keep his money, and if nothing else, hopefully these folks will do a little digging and at least KNOW why they are electing the guy.
Great job JOE!!!!
How long until the left begins to complain about Joe the Plumber’s shaved head and and makes a connection to the Nazi rally in Toledo a few years back. (got news coverage when counter protesters started burning down random buildings)
This is great. I worked my butt off to get get a degree so that I could provide a better way of life for my family. Now, that I’m making more money, instead of the 22% I was paying in the Air Force (which is still alot IMO), I’m paying ONE-THIRD of my check to the government! This astounds and infuriates me because THE GOVERNMENT HAS DONE NOTHING for quite awhile now except screw things up in our country. Taxation w/out representation, and I think it’s time for another tea party.
I’m wondering why I wasted my time and energy to pursue a better paying career when the fruits of my labor go to people with no ambition whatsoever. America, meet socialism. You’ll learn to love it, or else.
Vice presidential candidate Biden apparently can’t count.
There was a media feeding frenzy when vice president Dan Quayle couldn’t spell.
Of the two gaffes, I would consider the former (not being able to count) the more serious one. Betcha it doesn’t get reported to the same extent that the Quayle gaffe got reported.
Too late. Daily Kos already is claiming “proof” that Joe the Plumber had to go before the Ohio court of common pleas for failure to pay his taxes.
Hey, Biden, my father was a plumber/steamfitter, you gonna diss him too?
Yeah, the Dems really care about the working man as long as they keep ‘em poor and dependent on the State. Has Biden ever done any real, hard physical labor a day in his life? Mucked out a stable? Done house repairs? Anything beyond being a smug, know-it-all politician far removed from the daily realities of the real world.
I got news for blue collar folks and working families: the Dems don’t care about you and they’ll make sure you suffer because they hate everyone of us like they hate this country. Dems won’t be content until they not only destroy the military but the very economic underpinnings that made our country so strong for so many years.
This poor guy. If anybody sees Obama coming their way – RUN FORREST RUN!!!
Senator Obama thinks we are all idiots, I-D-I-O-T-S, which is how it is spelt for you non educated Private school types.
So much malarky – even I can think this through. EVERYONE – including those who will be getting tax credits (welfare) under an Obama plan and those of us who they will TAKE the money from – will have to pony up an increase in EVERYTHING we buy. Increased taxes = increased cost to the consumer. Why isn’t anyone asking Smirky about that?
Many right side pundits are getting it right…we will know more about Joe Plumber in the next week than the press has been able to find out about Obama’s 4 years in New York in two years of research.
Kos has been inaccurate a lot. Talk about a hatchet job.
Libs are coming unhinged and grasping for straws. Sorry Joe has to be in the middle of their war path.
Your word means squat on here. Since you chase ambulances for a living and tend to misrepresent people on MM on a regular basis, you really don’t know the difference between the truth and a lie.
You have no clue what Obummer will do with the tax code (or for anything else for that matter). It’s very concerning when I have to read through the charismatic rhetoric to get to the nitty gritty. When someone says that those who have been successful have to share their accumulated “wealth” or assets with others who couldn’t be bothered to be as industrious, that is concernng. That points to an underlying goal not wishful thinking. You’re pointing toward wishful thinking.
If business taxes get raised (on both the small, medium, and large) what kind of effect do you think that will have on people seeking employment? Do you think that businesses will hire more workers or expand in that kind of environment? Believe me, Dems have tried it in places like NY and Michigan and higher taxes don’t get people employment and keep businesses in “business.”
Would you rather be your own man or somebody dependent on the State? Do you think that higher taxes will help your practice or the law firm that you work for? Or will you or the law firm charge higher fees to stay in business?
Let’s get past the rhetoric and actually look at the nitty gritty. It doesn’t take an attorney to know you’re being sold a questionable product or scheme.
I have seen that 250k is for a married person filing a joint return. Anybody know off the top of their head?
Let me make something very clear. I am a small business owner. Since 2004, we have regularly billed-out 200K a year with the most ever being around 275K…that was in 2006…a good year. What I pay for work crew trucks, fuel, insurance for my 7 employees, vehicle insurance, state tax, federal tax, equipment, office rent, phone bills, cell phone bills, internet access, misc. small things you need to run the business on a monthly basis and other bills that come up….pretty much sucks up every bit of that. Out of all that…my take is about 45K. I regularly have to stay up till 3 or 4 in the morning just to get everything done…we’re talking not 10 hour days…but 20 hours days. Is it worth it? Sure because I am one of those who just can’t stand to work for someone else. BUT…am I rich? I wish. If Obama taxes me any more on top of all that stuff I listed….there will be 8 more people on the unemployment dole. It is hard enough to stay afloat…I don’t need a bigger set of concrete shoes.
You are right, emjem. As I have stated before, the real reason I am voting for Obama is solely to spite you and to be able to enjoy my delicious, bitter, salty, emjem tear martini on November 4th. I still have to think of a pithy name for it.
And I have never chased one ambulance. I have in fact only been in front of a judge once, on a trust matter.
But as for the ambulance chasers out there, keep on keeping on, bros. Often they are the only ones standing in the way of the defendant’s insurance company from swooping in when the victim is most vulnerable and desperate, lying to the victim about the merits of his or her case and “graciously” offering to settle for fraction of what the victim deserves.
