HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (AP) — A longtime Pennsylvania state senator has died after his Cadillac collided head-on with a truck.

Legislative leaders say Sen. James Rhoades died Saturday.

The 66-year-old Republican had served for seven terms and was chairman of the Education Committee. He was campaigning for an eighth term.

Don’t know much about him, but sad to hear.

Bush’s Attorney General can take on Brunner any time he chooses. Numerous congresspeople asked AG Mukasey to investigate ACORN in a letter sent weeks ago…no response! For more info on this see comment #5 on the CountingSheep trackback above. Why does it seem that Bush and his cabinet are like sheep marching into a slaughterhouse?

If necessary, there is more than one way to change the government in this country. Ghosts who voted for the O won’t be of any use in a real fight.

Lets face it Obama is going into the Whitehous in 09 and might as well face reality. I can’t wait till the rich libs are faced with higher taxes and they will say “this is not the change we were looking for” or when their favorite website is shut down because of some fairness doctrine, or certain media outlets are shut down again because of the fairness doctrine, they will be screaming. The conservatives won’t be shocked because we will be already expecting it.

The President can veto congress, Congress can overrider the veto, the Supreme Court can declare laws unconstitutional, but who checks and balances the Supreme Court when they get it wrong? Oh that is right they are a power unto themselves.

Excellent point AGAIN about the US Attorney firing investigation. Talk about politically motivated! But the motivation was to bring down EEEEVVVIILL Republicans, so I guess it was justified to them.
