I definitely think Obama’s opposition research minions went to work to discredit Joe the plumber. It’s a standard tactic used by Socialists all over the world.

If Joe the plumber was “Carlos”, a naturalized citizen, unlicensed plumber and Obama supporter, and if the right was questioning his credentials, we’d be called racist hatemongers who want to destroy Carlos’ kids.
GEE I wish Joe was an hispanic, disabled, gay, muslin, women with a mental handicap. The left COULDN’T question his answer to Obama.

I’m already grumpy no breakfast, no caffeine, and still almost an hour and a half before I can head up to the base medical hobby shop to give me the blood test I have been studying for all night. I just turned on Fox News and there is the spiter Whorealdo chewing out McCain for the Bill Ayers crap. Can we please get this bottom feeder off the TV? I would hate to be between a camera and either Whorealdo or Chucky Schumer either one would run you down to get in front of it first. Much better now that I muted the TV, I can not tell you how much distaste I have for that POS.

There was some woman on the 5pM show on fox last night, and the lady who was the Fox Anchor tried to point out that the situation Joe The Plumber proposed was what if he bought his company and it put him over that limit. She kept insisting he didn’t make that much and wouldn’t be taxed, totally ignoring the question. That sort of thing really is sad.

I saw you, Michelle. You definitely ROCK! Thank you! I have started getting up very early to catch Fox and Friends. It is truly the best news/commentary show on TV today. I really appreciate the fact that Fox and Friends allows the guests to actually get their point across without interruption. Laura Ingraham was on O’Reilly last night and I wanted to throw something at the TV! He sure likes the sound of his own voice, doesn’t he? Why have someone like Laura on if you aren’t going to let her talk. I could see her frustration…every time she was just about to make her point, he interrupted her. And, when he said that Obama was a good man and he didn’t have any problem with Obama, Laura went ballistic. Have you noticed that even when he says something really dumb like that, he absolutly will not back down or change his opinion. O’Reilly is never wrong. So, back on topic…Michelle, you brought it once again!! God Bless you and may His angels keep a close watch on you and your family.

If the situation were totally reversed the left would be screaming of attempts to chill free speech.
It is important what is happening to Joe the plumber but don’t lose sight in all the circus around it of why the left is in a feeding frenzy.
The question by Joe and the response by Obama is what is important to the country here and Joe has it exactly right in that it is basically naked socialism under the color of law that he is proposing.

Ed is such a joke. He pillories Sarah Palin but in reality he’s jut another man jealous that she’s a much better marksman than he is. Eddie’s a big hunter but, Sarah Palin never accidentally shot her own hunting dog. Yes, back in that late ’80’s Ed shot his own hunting dog.
I’m from Fargo (where Ed is based) Ed was the “Voice of the Bison” on a local radio station in the late ’80s; he did the play-by-play for the NDSU Bison football team. I was in the student section at each home game where one of our favorite chants was “Ed shot his dog. Ed shot his dog……etc.” The announcers booth was right behind the student section and he had no problem hearing us and it used to send him into a rage. He’s not very respected in his home market, if he didn’t have his national show, he’d be out of a job.
I would have mention to Maria: If Joe the Plumber was a terrorist Muslim extremist picked up on the Afghan-Pakistan border with Al Queda videos in his pockets, many liberals would have adopted him as their cause. The law professors at Columbia and Harvard would have promptly begged to represent him and a federal judge would order the guy released from custody and we would have a lecture about not assuming that all Muslims are terrorists and how US policy in the MidEast breeds hatred and then the terrorist would have been feted at Harvard and lionized at Yale. But Joe the Ohio guy is just not so romantic to the Harvard crowd. A terrorist, well they will adore him. But a guy who fixes leaky pipes, fugetabout him.
The zingers Mc got in about Joe the Plumber at the Al Smith dinner last night are priceless and right on the spot.
