Smirky warns of Obama’s inexperience: “Gird your loins”

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 20, 2008 12:56 PM

Keep talkin’, Joe.

God bless ya for telling the truth about your running mate’s dangerous inexperience.

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Yes, gird your loins, my friends.

More vintage Joe:

“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man.

Gird your loins.

I have serious concerns (not proof, just observations below) that they want to nuke Washington, D.C. and make Chicago the new capital.

Washington, D.C. is home to a wealth of sources that prove the Christian heritage of this nation. The Communists would love to see that all vaporized.

Chicago is home to the Communist Party USA.

Obama is moving the DNC from Washington, D.C. to Chicago.

When I did my 2007 taxes, I noticed there was a special tax credit for people to buy homes in Washington, D.C. Why? I believe that helps raise the property values as the Democratic Socialists liquidate their D.C. real estate.

    Chicago…Obama’s kind of town.

If Biden knows so much more than anyone else abut foreign policy, than how does he explain his statement that in 1982, the United States kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon”?

He already answered that question, he forgot it, just like he forgot that Katie’s Restaurant, where he hangs out with the common man, closed 20 years ago. He’s forgotten everything he ever claimed to know, and the media ignors his gaffs.

If McCain had said half of the things that Biden has said in the last month, they would be claiming he was too dumb, too old, and too unfit to be President. But if you listen to them talk about Biden, you’d think he was over-qualified for the job. No media bias here – move along.

“These are the exciting last two week moments of the presidential campaign,” said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., today in Cambridge, Mass. “So it’s a very special time. I can’t wait for it to be over. #157 I am catholic as well but it seems strange that he would say “god willing” which catholics don’t pray that way but, muslims do.

Just look at any news clip and they say “god willing” let me me give you an example of Zawhari & OBL.

In šaʾ Allāh (إن شاء الله) is an Arabic term evoked by Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Urdu and Bengali speakers to indicate hope for an aforementioned event to occur in the future. The phrase translates into English as “God willing” or “If it is God’s will”, sometimes spoken as DV, the Latin abbreviation for Deo volente or simply “hopefully”.

The term is also related to another Arabic term, Mā šāʾ Allāh (ما شاء الله), which means “God has willed it”.

This word is often used to indicate a desire to do something that you wish may occur. This also provides God’s blessing on what you are about to do. For example, if you want to do something, in particular if you know that it is very hard to achieve, you invoke God’s blessing before it occurs or before you set out to do it. In Judaism, B’ezrat Hashem (בעזרת השם), “With God’s Help,” and Im Yirtze Hashem (אם ירצה השם), “If God wishes it,” are used for the same reason.

Usage of Insha’Allah derives from Islamic scripture, Surat Al Kahf (18):24 : “And never say of anything, ‘I shall do such and such thing tomorrow. Except (with the saying): ‘If God wills!’ And remember your lord when you forget…”

The triliteral of šāʾ is š-y-ʾ “to will”, a doubly weak root in Arabic grammar.

NO CATHOLIC PRAYS OR FEELS THAT WAY ABOUT GOD!

AND IF YOU DIDN’T SEE THAT then you as a catholic are wrong!

    Murtha Calls Western Pa. ‘Redneck’
    With Video

CHARLEROI, Pa. — U.S. Rep. John Murtha is calling many of the people who put him in office “rednecks.”

The news comes one week after Murtha claimed the area is racist, then apologized for that comment.

In explaining his comments about racism, Murtha told WTAE it’s difficult for many in the area to change. Murtha said that just five to 10 years ago the entire area was “redneck.”

Now Murtha said only certain segments of the population are holding on to those racist feelings.

John Murtha, the gift that keeps on giving.

Perhaps it is time for Biden to retire before his loses more of his faculties?

My guy has been pretty solidly on the reservation this campaign, but this gaffe was beyond stupid. What makes it so stupid, is that it sounded like a prepared remark. He could easily have made the point by saying, “if Obama is ever tested down the road, I know he has a spine of steel, because my experience tells me yada, yada, yada.”

By talking in absolutes, he really raises the stakes. If a voter is on the fence, and really respects Biden’s opinion, the voter could think, “hell, I’ll go with McCain. Maybe he’ll be better than Bush, and I’m sure not in the mood for another national security crisis, whether Barack’s ready or not.”
I can’t tell you how pissed I am about his quote.

Otherwise, I had a great day today. I saw The One, at a rally in Tampa today. It was a wonderful experience. I’m working on a presidential campaign for the first time in my life, and I think and hope, the democrats can really get it done this time. At least as long as Biden doesn’t say anything else approaching this level of stupidity between now and November 4th.

There’s no personal agenda. Like 10s of millions of other Americans, I think Obama will make a better president than JohnnyMac. I don’t think we’ll be under Iranian rule in my lifetime, or my child’s, or my child’s child. I believe in fighting Islamic Jihadists, but I think such a war should be fought with intelligence. (spies, assassinations, and blowing crap up). Not by invading countries preemptively, and spending 10 billion dollars a month, borrowed. If you think McCain will make a better leader than Obama, I’m sure you’ll vote for him. I most certainly disagree.
