The two presidential candidates were at the White House for a meeting the other day concerning the transition of power and how the terrorists may want to strike while the nation is most vulnerable. We might have two Joes to thank for the win…Joe the Plumber and Joe “the mouth” Biden. Thanks to them both.

An Obama Presidency will receive no support from me. It will be a period where I will need to just brace myself and my family for all the bad that will result from it, but there will not be one utterance of support or encouragement from me.

My read on this is, “Don’t vote for the anointed one the world will want to test him and he will be found lacking.” It does make you think they are telegraphing their first bid to take away our 1st or 2nd Amendment protections due to a real or invented state of emergency. I don’t think they will like the result of attempting to take way either. In our little corner of fly over country we have way too many folks that will surrender their weapons only after we have expended all the ammo that many of us have on hand for each one of them.

I am Catholic as are most people in my community. I have been hearing and saying that phrase all of my life and I can guarantee you we are not Islamofacist.
My guy has been pretty solidly on the reservation this campaign, but this gaffe was beyond stupid. What makes it so stupid, is that it sounded like a prepared remark. He could easily have made the point by saying, “if Obama is ever tested down the road, I know he has a spine of steel, because my experience tells me yada, yada, yada.”
By talking in absolutes, he really raises the stakes. If a voter is on the fence, and really respects Biden’s opinion, the voter could think, “hell, I’ll go with McCain. Maybe he’ll be better than Bush, and I’m sure not in the mood for another national security crisis, whether Barack’s ready or not.”
I can’t tell you how pissed I am about his quote.
Otherwise, I had a great day today. I saw The One, at a rally in Tampa today. It was a wonderful experience. I’m working on a presidential campaign for the first time in my life, and I think and hope, the democrats can really get it done this time. At least as long as Biden doesn’t say anything else approaching this level of stupidity between now and November 4th.
