    So, saying “white” isn’t enough, though. It has to be “Lily White” which is ironic in some sense since there are approximately 110 species of lily, most of which are not white. Does she use other metaphors to describe someone’s blackness or browness? I would wager she might consider that to be racist and fail to see the irony.

    I’m still trying to figure out how one’s genetics or heritage predisposes them to only one political brand. I suppose this viewpoint is just another extreme extension of nature versus nurture.

    The best part of it all is that it is clear that Dominique will fail in her objective. I love how these letter writers believe that they will eventually “shame” Michelle into reforming and falling back into line with their ideal of identity politics.

    Yet, Michelle is still here, doing what she does best and we’re here laughing at one Dominique and wondering if the “New Jersey Law Journal” has any idea what a bigot they have in their accounts department.
