Breaking: New poll shows Russell over Murtha, 48-35

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 23, 2008 02:58 PM

A Pennsylvania source has just leaked me brand spanking new poll data showing GOP upstart Bill Russell leading John Murtha among over 800 probable voters by 48-35.

This comes on top of the Susquehanna poll showing Murtha ahead of Russell by 4 points, within the margin of error.

The new poll is from Dane and Associates, which surveyed over 800 probable voters, randomly selected to reflect the district makeup, on Wednesday night.

My syndicated column tomorrow will spotlight Russell’s conservative counterinsurgent campaign, which has been buoyed by grass-roots word-of-mouth and Internet activism.

Keep it up.

The Russell Brigade needs all the help it can get.

Conservatives can make a difference in this election. We do have candidates who will fight for us. So fight for them. Make your voice heard.

***

And yes, these new poll results do have implications for the McCain-Obama race in Penn, don’t they?

More to come…

Horrible. What kind of person, of either political persuasion, is driven to violence (or further violence; this was a robbery to begin with) by the sight of a sticker/sign showing support of the other candidate?

Someone who has been taught from youth that they are victims, the “man” is keeping them down, the whiteman is the child of the Devil, their minister screams “God Damn America”, going to school is acting white, taking what you want is reparations, working is for Uncle Toms.

All in one sentence. Read BroBama’s book “Dreams From My Father”; it is all there. There will be, probably is, more such attacks. Let us see if Tingle Legs Matthews picks up the story. (you, I can’t watch the punk)

I’m sure Murtha will have plenty of job offers with the MSM as commentator if he loses.

For one, after his most recent statements, I think he’d be a perfect fit as the Andy Rooney of Comedy Central’s Chocolate News :)

The Murtha race will say something about voters. Incumbents, across the board are arrogant in their belief that they will stay in office and in power no matter what they say or do. The Senate is worse than the House, but a 90%+ reelection ratio creates the problems that we the citizens are experiencing.

    GO RUSSELL !

Go Bill! Bye Murtha! Frank, Pelosi and others too numerous to name need to go too!

When Obama loses, watch out for the riots. This crowd just can not be civil. The Palin rally in Philly had an unruly group of Obama thugs trying to harass people attending the rally. They know their guy can’t win on merits alone and they won’t get the “spread the wealth” checks if Obama loses.

I am sending Russell and Dole and McCain 25$.00 each. It may not be much but it is all I can do right now. It is time PEOPLE to put our money out there. We are talking a possible Democrat Supermajority, an Obama White house, and the possibility of Obama picking not only 3 Supremes, but numerous District and Appelate judges. Let’s do this. Never mind the other differences, these outweigh those. Linda in Chesapeake, Va. A state BTW that is probably going to end up with two Dem Senators. And a woman from who worked with Moveon.org that is trying to take Randy Forbes seat in the house. He is my representative. Help us out here…!!!!

Typical tactic of the left these days. They are well taught by their masters to emulate their heroes (Marx, Stalin, Castro, Mugabe, Chavez, etc.).

Are voters telling one thing for internal polls and something else to the national polsters? The Govs of PA and CO seem to think that something is going on under the radar.
The national polls seem to weighted the way they perceive the composition of the US to be. If there are more registered Dems, then more dems are polled skewing the results to Obama. What about the states where people register with a party just to have a say in the primary, but are not really solid members of the party? Is Obama having a false sense of security while he builds his massive stage for his election night party? Waiting for Obama’s Dewey moment. Anyone have a NYT for him to use?

All polls are BS. Personally, I think it should be against the law to do any political polling. Since polling is about as scientific as evolution or global warming.

Which is why the liberals love them so much. They’re not scientific but the liberals can claim the are.

While the unsubstantiated reports of nasty remarks and advocacy of violence from attendees at McCain’s rallies remains the buzz from the Old Media establishment and as the Old Media points its accusing finger at Gov. Palin, constantly calling her a racist, real violence has been perpetrated on a McCain supporter at the hands of an Obamaton. Yet, strangely enough, the media has remained silent on the incident.
Oleg Atbashian informs us that the District Attorney of New York has indicted an Obama supporter that ripped a McCain sign out of the hands of a McCain supporter and beat her in the face with the wooden stick to which the sign was attached.

Gee, can’t wait until Obama loses!

How about this as a reason why McCain supports are afraid to put a sticker on their car or a sign on their lawn in liberal areas… like me.

The robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face
