Best interview of Joe Biden ever

Biden to Barbara West: “Are you joking?”

WFTV Channel 9′s Barbara West puts increasingly erratic, super-gaffetastic Joe Biden on the hot seat over ACORN, voter fraud, and Barack Obama’s “Spread the wealth” comments.

The result?

Best interview of Joe Biden ever.

The increasingly erratic, super-gaffetastic Biden was so upset that the campaign canceled an interview West’s station had scheduled with his wife, Jill. The Orlando Sentinel reports:

Why did Barack Obama’s campaign cancel a WFTV-Channel 9 interview with Jill Biden, wife of Sen. Joe Biden? The campaign cited “an unprofessional interview” WFTV’s Barbara West did Thursday with Joe Biden. In a statement Friday, Adrianne Marsh, Florida spokeswoman for Obama’s campaign, said the station, in talking with Sen. Biden, was “both combative and woefully uninformed about simple facts.” Marsh said West’s insistence that Obama was an organizer for ACORN was “100 percent false.” “In a line of questioning that would make Rush Limbaugh proud, West even went as far as to quote Karl Marx, a Communist icon, in a disturbing attempt to associate Barack Obama with socialism,” Marsh wrote. West said, “I think I asked him some pointed questions. . . . I don’t think I was rude or inconsiderate to him.”

She was completely professional and gracious.

But remember: Anything less than total sycophancy from the Obamedia is considered “combative.”

Keep Barbara West in your thoughts and prayers. She can expect the Joe the Plumber treatment any minute now.

I agree. But I think you are outnumbered by the folks who went screaming in another direction. I think the conservative base would have voted against Obama no matter what. McCain should have picked somebody like Ridge or Guiliani who could have brought in more independents/moderates, and not scared so many Republicans away. Even if you believe the media is responsible for making Palin look like an a$$, and raising her unfavorablity ratings, they couldn’t have done that to a Ridge, Guiliani, Leiberman ect….

For those conservatives here that seem to be down on the interview, remember it was a time limited interview, not a scheduled 1 hour ambush as we saw with the Palin ‘interviews’. Nor was it suppose to be a debate. 1st LSM interview i’ve seen that even question these 2 left wing dolts.

That is why instead of bringing up that The One was an organizer and lawyer for them, she should have immediately noted that his campaign had given them money in the primaries.

On the taxes issue, she should have said that everyone who pays income taxes received a cut under Bush and then said that when these cuts expire, as Obama wants to let them do, all of those same people will see their taxes rise.

After she asked him about his recent comments regarding the testing of Obama, she should have reminded him about his comments during the primaries that Obama is not ready.

There is so much more she could have done in that short time. But, she let him have his say. He seemed more condescending than nervous or snide.

Yes, because the Democrats never would have brought up Ridge’s utterly incompetent management of Homeland Security, or his opposition to Reagan’s policies in the eighties.

The Democrats never would have brought up Giuliani’s train wreck of a personal life, or reminded conservatives his support of extreme gun control and partial birth abortion, or his endorsement of Mario Cuomo over George Pataki.

And, of course, the Democrats never would have savaged Joe Lieberman using the talking points from the Ned Lamont/Lieberman campaign in 2006.

What a naive statement. Palin is the best thing to happen to McCain. The only good thing to happen to McCain. Two old white RINOs on the ticket? Yeah, that would have excited the base… NOT!

Many still aren’t because he is the same RINO he always was. But Sarah is the real thing. Many will now vote for him who would not have before. His campaign was totally stuck prior to her nomination.

I was not planning to vote for him, and had he picked Leiberman, Guiliani or Ridge… nothing could have made me do it.

Even his piok of Palin does not count me in on his game. Although, she has improved the ticket enough that I may sway for it in the end. I’m swayed more by the voter fraud and perpetual lies spewing from Camp Obama and the KOSkids, etc.

Personally, I see an extremely divided America that can no longer peacefully coexist. I think civil war is coming and I am okay with that. I wish it didn’t have to come to that, but I don’t see any way around it at this time.

But regardless of what happens, I know the ultimate outcome, and I know who wins and will take over the government when the time is right. And that is Jesus Christ. What a glorious day that will be. And then we will have a true and lasting peace.

Sorry, but this falls into the same category as the kind of things you would hear on The View. I think we are better than that. His grandmother is probably the one person who helped him gain some stability, and saw to it that he got a good education. He may have seen and spoken to her for the last time, and it’s a tragedy no matter your politics. If anyone saw him walking alone in the photos, that’s the street he and his grandmother would have taken to the grocery store – and I’m sure the memories were strong and sad.
Sorry, I totally dislike his politics, but there’s no reason to stoop to the level of the people who trashed Palin’s family.
There are many Christians on this board – you need to pray for this man. He could easily be the leader of the free world and is woefully unprepared IMO. Considering how he started life, we may owe his Tutu a big thank you, and slamming her when she’s gravely ill is unseemly.

They won’t wait till then to threaten Miss West with the FCC, not if the experience of Michael Graham is any indicator:

The hot topic on my 9am-noon talk show here in Boston today was word that our Secretary of State, Bill Galvin, has been ignoring federal law designed to protect the voting rights of uniformed military personnel deployed to Iraq and elsewhere.

…So before today’s show, my producer called and emailed Secretary Galvin, inviting him to tell his side of the story. “He’s too busy and will not have time to come on,” Galvin’s spokesflak said. But after the show started, and Galvin began hearing from angry military family members, he suddenly found time to call the show.

Not for a conversation, but for a threat. Secretary of State Bill Galvin’s spokesflak called my producer while I was on the air to complain about the content of my show. Then we were informed that the Secretary was filing a complaint against me with the Federal Communications Commission because he didn’t like what I was saying. Galvin was apparently hoping that such a threat to my livelihood would shut me up.

This posting shows how well that worked…

In a previous post Michael had pointed out that MA Secretary of State Bill Galvin definitely doesn’t want to count this guy’s vote; he wrote:

Bill Galvin is treating our soldiers the same way segregationist election officials treated black voters in the Jim Crow South. If you think that’s an exaggeration, read the consent order Galvin was forced to sign. Massachusetts is now going to have federal election officials overseeing our treatment of military voters…just like Alabama had overseeing their treatment of black voters 40 years ago.

Michael knows who is really guilty of attempted voter suppression.

For saying so he gets threatened with the FCC.

And the One hasn’t even been coronated elected yet. /sarc.

I have a feeling that if the massive fraud was in McCain’s favor, we’d be hearing MUCH more outrage from our lib friends, as well as from the MSM. Kind of like what you just said… :)

First of all, this bit about the middle class not benefiting from the tax cuts is a lie. We are middle class and did realize a tax cut.
Second of all, what does he mean when he says, “restore the middle class”? Are they planning on giving so much money to the lower income people that they become middle class?
By the way, part of the so called tax cut is going to be accomplished by cutting the social security tax of lower income people by about $5 per wk and making higher income people make up for it. It will not show up in the treasury as anything.
Barry also wants to subject 401K’s to the death tax (50%). So if you don’t receive all of your money from your 401K, half will go to the govt. He also wants the SS Admin. to administer all 401K’s and send out one check to retirees that will supposedly include ss and money from the 401K.
    Anyone like that idea?
Biden obviously is bold about lying or he knows nothing about what socialism or Marxism are.
I think it’s pretty funny how insulted he is that anyone should DARE to question “The One” or his policies.
    Talk about elitist.

If the question was asked, “Who was and still is the most hated and despised man in the history of Georgia” the response would be William Tecumseh Sherman. From the onset of hostilities in the Atlanta Campaign on May 6, 1864 and the March to the Sea ending two days before Christmas 1864 with him capturing Savannah, no one created more destruction. As a result of his successful campaign in Georgia, the Confederacy was split in two and deprived of much needed supplies, ending the war quickly with a Union victory.

A strong leader doesn’t CARE if he is hated and villified by the enemy… he cares about WINNING, and let history sort it out.

Keep Barbara West in your thoughts and prayers. She can expect the Joe the Plumber treatment any minute now.

And racist of course. If “Socialist” set off the ding bats mentioning “incorrect” has to.

Years ago I read a comparative history of Henry VIII to Joesph Stalin.I think it was “Great Leaders, Great Tyrants” but I do not know for sure.

But the thesis was they both destroyed not only those they perceived as threats but even their most loyal sycophants. Both Henry and Stalin would kill their own to terrorize others into even greater fealty. It seemed to work. Some of both Henry’s and Stalin’s greatest Generals would get great accolades returning from victory and then later have them arrested. The same was true of Government leaders and the most menial jobs of the realm. The Obamanites remind me of those two tyrants. Terror for the sake of terror. Read Obama’s book “Dreams from My Father” and see if it does not seem familiar. Everybody is expendable, everybody.

Sort of like Fort Marcy Park.
