WFTV Channel 9’s Barbara West puts increasingly erratic, super-gaffetastic Joe Biden on the hot seat over ACORN, voter fraud, and Barack Obama’s “Spread the wealth” comments.

The increasingly erratic, super-gaffetastic Biden was so upset that the campaign canceled an interview West’s station had scheduled with his wife, Jill. The Orlando Sentinel reports:
Why did Barack Obama’s campaign cancel a WFTV-Channel 9 interview with Jill Biden, wife of Sen. Joe Biden? The campaign cited “an unprofessional interview” WFTV’s Barbara West did Thursday with Joe Biden. In a statement Friday, Adrianne Marsh, Florida spokeswoman for Obama’s campaign, said the station, in talking with Sen. Biden, was “both combative and woefully uninformed about simple facts.” Marsh said West’s insistence that Obama was an organizer for ACORN was “100 percent false.” “In a line of questioning that would make Rush Limbaugh proud, West even went as far as to quote Karl Marx, a Communist icon, in a disturbing attempt to associate Barack Obama with socialism,” Marsh wrote. West said, “I think I asked him some pointed questions. . . . I don’t think I was rude or inconsiderate to him.”
She was completely professional and gracious.
But remember: Anything less than total sycophancy from the Obamedia is considered “combative.”

Do you know why she didn’t come back with any counter questions to what he was answering: because she doesn’t know anything! Listen to when she says “OK, lets move on to the next question”. She was just reading them off the telepromter. Biden was correct in asking her who had written those questions because she obviously was just reading words on a page. A bunch of you people that post here would have done a much better job of countering what Biden was saying. What a waste of a golden opportunity to nail this guy.

I agree, and I wonder if perhaps she was a little gun-shy, so to speak? This is definitely new territory for the “MSM.” There was a stiltedness about her remarks and a lack of followup, but I still appreciate the fact that she asked the questions.

Years ago I read a comparative history of Henry VIII to Joesph Stalin.I think it was “Great Leaders, Great Tyrants” but I do not know for sure.
But the thesis was they both destroyed not only those they perceived as threats but even their most loyal sycophants. Both Henry and Stalin would kill their own to terrorize others into even greater fealty. It seemed to work. Some of both Henry’s and Stalin’s greatest Generals would get great accolades returning from victory and then later have them arrested. The same was true of Government leaders and the most menial jobs of the realm. The Obamanites remind me of those two tyrants. Terror for the sake of terror. Read Obama’s book “Dreams from My Father” and see if it does not seem familiar. Everybody is expendable, everybody.

It’s 5:05 here in California. I watched the video earlier and somehow found it on the stations web site about 30 minutes ago. I even left a comment congratulating Barbara West, the reporter, in their comment section.
I told my wife about the video and she went to watch it. We cannot find it! Does anyone know what happened here? It appears that someone got to the station!

Did not seem like a very tough round of questions to me at all!! You and your buddy are running for office and you can’t take a question without getting offended? Wait until you are across the table from someone that, let’s say, wants to chop off your head during the interview? (on camera, of course.)I think the interviews get tougher from here.

The Obama people are only blocking the video for your own good. The fairness doctrine says that anything that Obama thinks is not fair should be removed to save public sensibilities. Please pay your taxes and do not worry about any unfairness… all will be taken care of.
For most of us, you are so right. However, when every interview is a charade designed to enable your candidacy and gloss over any “embarassments,” a real question would be like getting hit with a barrel full of ice water. Plus, when you feel you are entitled such questions are an affront to you.
This speaks volumes about the mindset of Biden and Obama.
While I’ll agree that the direction of the questioning is something we’ll never see from the Drive-bys, I doubt any “moderates” would have seen any problems with Joey B’s answers. In order for there to be any effect an interviewer would have to do a far better job than Ms. West did in this interview. Quoting Marx won’t get you anywhere with a “Joe Sixpack” Democrat or Libertarian. The older ones are just as apt to ask you: Was that Groucho or Chico that said that?
Pulling the link, if that is what happened, is probably the dumbest thing anyone trying to surpress its being shown. It is in cyberspace. Even if pulled from YouTube it will only make things worse for the people involved in a coverup.
By being too careful and too perfect, the Obama campaign could do something really stupid that WOULD cost them the election.
I was puzzled by the lack of followup. It almost seemed a bit too stilted, not graceful, nor perhaps very well thought out. Even though she didn’t do a very good job, I’m still glad she asked the questions, just to see Biden’s reaction.
Anyone still thinking Obama is not a totalitarian thug are beyond being taken seriously. Anyone still thinking Obama and his surrogates had nothing to do with smearing Sarah Palin are too full of the same sickness to ever be healed. Anyone still thinking Obama has 1/10th the intelligence and/or honor of Senator McCain have flunked completely out of the school of life. And, finally, anyone thinking Biden is anything other than a clown is one also.
The reason it was so short, with no follow-ups, is that the local station she works for only had a four-minute satellite window to do the interview. She did a good job of cramming a lot of information into the brief time available. And she had the crap-weasel, as Michelle would say, squirming. I also took offense at his assumption she didn’t write her own questions. What a smarmy piece of work he is. Good for her managing to wipe that smug smile off of his face.

The laws on the books at the time of Obama’s birth required the U.S. citizen parent to have resided in the United States for ten (10) years, five (5) of which were after the age of fourteen (14). Obama’s mother was only eighteen (18) years old when Obama was born in Kenya, so she could not give him U.S. Citizenship.
It appears that..
1) He was born a Kenyan citizen.
2) He became an Indonesian citizen when he was adopted by his step-father.
3) Today he is either a Naturalized (not Natural born) Citizen, or he is an illegal alien.

Hah! Imagine if every interview was like that, Biden! Then you’d have an idea of what it’s like to be a conservative running for office!
Maybe she didn’t ask any follow-ups, and she did let him go on the last question without even bothering to answer it let alone deny the accusation, but maybe she doesn’t need to.
My opinion is that the McCain Campaign needs to take this interview and run with it. They need to make as many commercials as humanly possible with it and ram it through as much as possible between now and Tuesday next.
They need to take the quote, ‘The Obama Campaign has not paid one red cent to Acorn’s ‘Get Out The Vote’.” and crush them with the numbers and dates of just how much and hen the Obama Campaign gave money.
Then they need to nail them about his lie that Obama has no connection with Acorn with the dates that he represented them and any other time he had any dealings with them.
Then they need to hammer home the fact that when pushed about being a Socialist, Biden could not even answer. He only, childishly, responded, “Are you kidding”? No denial, never said that he wasn’t.
The mileage that could be gained from just this one interview…the only interview I have seen in 2 years that actually asked real questions…should not be ignored.
If the McCain Campaign does nothing with this, then they truly do not want to win.
This interview alone should be enough to swing it permanently into McCain’s favor.
Obama’s press conferences will have a bunch of stooges who get thrills down their legs.
Something to think about – Obama and Joe Biden have been treated with kid gloves by the media, and this interview shows what will happen when they actually get asked tough questions. They are totally unprepared for it. Odds are, if they’re elected, the NY Times and Washington Post will fawn all over them, but the WH Press Room could go tough if something bad happens and they do the wrong thing. This is a fine example of what will happen when these two are “tested” and it didn’t go well.
The media brought these two up and in the end, somehow, someone in the media will bring them down.

O/T but I want to sprinkle this everywhere especially in light of Biden’s interview with the FL reporter.
Important distinction that NEEDS to be made over and over again between now and Nov. 4.
When Obama talks about reducing taxes for 95% of working Americans he is only talking about income taxes. He is not talking about payroll taxes which is where the funding for new programs will come from.
The nationalized health care plan the Dems are salivating about is a 7% payroll tax, the new retirement plan to replace our 401k’s is a 5% payroll tax, and the wage insurance is a 1% payroll tax for a total new tax burden of 13%. Add that to the current 6% Social Security payroll tax and the 1% (or more) Medicare payroll tax and we’re looking at a payroll tax burden in excess of 20% which is not subject to the deductions the income tax is.
No one is exempt from payroll taxes so Obama is simply lying.

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Officers Oath of Office:

As seen above the military’s prime responsibility is to the Constitution, not to some transitory politician or political party that may be in power at any given time. If a politician or party should violate the Constitution, and the normal checks and balances fail to rein them in, then I say that it would become the obligation of our military to move decisively to put an end to that politician or party’s continued term in office. For the military to fail to do so would be a violation of their oath and bring eternal shame and dishonor on them.

FOX NEWS has slamed CNN for their REFUSAL to apologise for this outrage. The CNN reporter used outright lies when refering to a National Review column. CNN has sunk to a new low but not as low as the gutter news outlet of MSNBC. Keith Olbermann actually went on, and on, and on about how McCain said the Tampa Bay Devil Rays when the “Devil” was dropped from their name a year ago. I watched in disbelief as Olbermann bashed McCain like he had committed a mortal sin. I thought Olbermann’s head was going to explode. I never did hear him mention that Biden said FDR “got on TV” during the start of the “depression” when he wasen’t president and there was no TV. Or when Biden said a three letter word “JOBS.” Or when Biden became a fortune teller and says Obama will be tested within 6 months–bla, bla, bla.”
Unfortunately, the McCain campaign is running out of money because they didn’t allow illegal contributions from Saudi Arabia.
It’s so frustrating everytime you think McCain is getting tougher he comes out with some lame thing to shoot himself in the foot,like “we have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency,he’s a good family man.” Is he kidding? Now I guess he’s telling people they should fear from all the authority the dems will have with the house and congress,sheesh!!!! you should have said that ages ago Senator McCain. I think Barbara West did a great job.You could tell Biden had the wind taken out of his sails and his answers were less than believable.Unfortunately though with everything that has come out on Obama and his utter arrogance between the Obama flags,presidential seals,fainting and messiah stance,his claiming he wasn’t born in a manger,but on Krypton and the Obama youth chorus sadly no one seems to care.I keep wondering how can people be fooled so easily?I received the answer when I was at a relatives house and she told me Obama will take money from the rich and give it to me.I guess that’s why he’s winning.For the first time in my adult life I see people in this country want socialism.How very sad.
