L.A. Times sits on video of Obama toasting radical Jew-basher

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 25, 2008 11:14 PM

Jim Hoft has the story on the damning video of Barack Obama that the L.A. Times refuses to release.

Writes Jim: “It’s hard to imagine that the LA Times would hold onto a video of Sarah Palin praising an anti-Semitic radical and former PLO operative…”

Exactly. Guess the reporter doesn’t want to open himself up to the Joe the Plumber treatment.

…exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I showered him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures — even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him a concentration camp — he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom. When a military boot crashes his butt, then he will understand, but not before that. That’s the tragedy of the situation of demoralization.

On October 26th, 2008 at 12:38 am, Bud Fox said:

    Schumpeter and capitalism’s demise

Schumpeter’s most popular book in English is probably Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy. This book opens with a treatment of Karl Marx. On the surface level, this piece seems to support socialism. Schumpeter’s reasoning was that an overt defense of capitalism would prompt the book only to be read by those who already supported capitalism. Therefore, he believed that he must masquerade as a supporter of socialism to entice the young socialist to read his work. In the end, he hoped to awaken self-recognition in the reader to the flaws of socialism. [4] While he is sympathetic to Marx’s theory that capitalism will collapse and will be replaced by socialism, Schumpeter concludes that this will not come about in the way Marx predicted. To describe it he borrowed the phrase “creative destruction,” and made it famous by using it to describe a process in which the old ways of doing things are endogenously destroyed and replaced by new ways.

Schumpeter’s theory is that the success of capitalism will lead to a form of corporatism and a fostering of values hostile to capitalism, especially among intellectuals. The intellectual and social climate needed to allow entrepreneurship to thrive will not exist in advanced capitalism; it will be replaced by socialism in some form. There will not be a revolution, but merely a trend in parliaments to elect social democratic parties of one stripe or another. He argued that capitalism’s collapse from within will come about as democratic majorities vote for the creation of a welfare state and place restrictions upon entrepreneurship that will burden and destroy the capitalist structure. Schumpeter emphasizes throughout this book that he is analyzing trends, not engaging in political advocacy. In his vision, the intellectual class will play an important role in capitalism’s demise. The term “intellectuals” denotes a class of persons in a position to develop critiques of societal matters for which they are not directly responsible and able to stand up for the interests of strata to which they themselves do not belong. One of the great advantages of capitalism, he argues, is that as compared with pre-capitalist periods, when education was a privilege of the few, more and more people acquire (higher) education. The availability of fulfilling work is however limited and this, coupled with the experience of unemployment, produces discontent. The intellectual class is then able to organise protest and develop critical ideas.

In Schumpeter’s view, socialism will ensure that the production of goods and services is directed towards meeting the authentic needs of people and will overcome some innate tendencies of capitalism such as conjecture fluctuation, unemployment and waning acceptance of the system.

If it were not for God himself protecting the Jews (in ways that many Jews seem seldom grateful for as a group) they would already be gone…

Keep in mind when Stephen Spielberg made Schindler’s List, he neglected to tell audiences that he (Schindler) not only helped to keep the SS from killing his Jews at the end of WWII, but he also ARMED AND TRAINED THEM to fight off roving bands of SS as they made their escapes…that alone would have gotten Schindler the death penalty (with piano wire) in Nazi Germany…

Spielberg in keeping with political correctness of 1994-95 took out the gun element, and came up with the namby- pamby ending you can still see (along with the nude scenes).

Hitler and the Nazis were atrocious. Unfortuantely, in today’s culture, they’ve been reduced to caricatures, thus obscuring the nature of the horror they brought. If you mention hatred of the Jews, most think of angry, swastika-bearing germans, and it stops there. If you point out the anti-Jewish ideology of the PLO and Iran, then few take it seriously, because those guys don’t have swastikas and Colonel Klink. What is their agenda?

57 States [of the OIC] and one left to go“!

Does Barack Hussein Obama intend to make the USA a Muslim state, sympathetic to Russia?

Since the nineteenth century, Muslims had aspired ideas of uniting their community to serve their common political, economic, and social interests. Despite the presence of secularist, nationalist, and socialist ideologies, in modern Muslim states, King Faysal of Saudi Arabia cooperated with other Muslim leaders to form the Organization of Islamic Conference. The formation of the OIC happened in the backdrop of the loss of Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem. The final cause sufficiently compelled leaders of Muslim nations were to meet in Rabat to establish the OIC in May 1971.

According to its charter, the OIC aims to preserve Islamic social and economic values; promote solidarity amongst member states; increase cooperation in social, economic, cultural, scientific, and political areas; uphold international peace and security; and advance education, particularly in the fields of science and technology.

The flag of the OIC has an overall green background (symbolic of Islam). In the center, there is an upward-facing red crescent enveloped in a white disc. On the disc the words “Allahu Akbar” are written in modern Arabic calligraphy.

Barack Hussein Obama knew that green is symbolic of Islam, and told female reporters not to wear green when he visited the Al-Buraq Wall:

Reporters traveling overseas with Sen. Barack Obama were thrown a bit of curve last week when the campaign emailed a “dress code” for Israel and Jordan. Aides had passed along as a courtesy the list that they had distributed to their staff to follow. But some of the tips raised a few eyebrows, particularly among the female reporters.
“Do not wear green.” (Explained later as the color of Hamas)

As for Alaska and Hawaii, remember what Obama said:

Uh, Alaska and Hawaii I was not allowed to go to, even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not, uh, justify it.

Does a man who has “Judgement to Lead” this nation have to ask “his staff” if he’s allowed to visit Alaska and Hawaii?

Clearly Obama is not ready to lead this nation…he is merely an empty suit, a shiny package put in front of the media, while other people behind the scenes really call the shots.

Do the people behind Obama’s campaign [to whom Obama must ask permission to visit Alaska and Hawaii, and when they say, "No", he says "I was not allowed to go"] think that Alaska and Hawaii should not belong to the United States?

Has Russia been working through their members in the US Congress to prevent drilling for oil in ANWR?

The area that became Alaska was purchased from the Russian Empire after Congress concluded its resources could be vitally important to the nation’s future growth.

Does Russia have very real intentions of taking Alaska back?

Putin (through his puppet Dmitry Medvedev) had the armies of Russia invade Georgia. I believe it is a very real possibility that he wants Alaska back, too. All the more reason why Putin hates Sarah Palin. (It’s also no joke that you can see Russia from parts of Alaska).

Why is most of the MSM so hostile toward Sarah Palin?

Because they are Democratic Socialist Communists, promoting Russia’s agenda, not promoting what’s best for America. And Barack Hussein Obama is their “Chosen One”.

It is more important to them to elect not just a Democrat, but the first black President than it is to actually have someone of substance in the Oval Office.

Selling out their country and it’s security means nothing. In the end, they would merely feel that the country deserved it anyway.

Should all these things come out after he is elected, and he is impeached…what difference would it make? They would still have the Oval Office and both houses of Congress. The Nation would be embarrassed and brought down as the only Super Power left.

Their work would be complete, they would be raking in the bucks from all the papers and ad revenue they would get from all the “scandals” that would be forcoming.

I’ve have been contemplating all the discussions on the need to rebuild the Republican party. Who on a national level could be a leader. It must be a strong constitutionalist. Someone who believes in the “fair tax” movement. A person who would lead us toward a transparent governmental and a sustainable monetary system. We need a government that allows the individual to grow to their maximum capabilities unfettered by the crushing rules of the PC elite.
Does anyone have a long list of citizens in power that could do this?

How insane is it to elect someone President of the United States and know so little about him? He may not even be legally able to run for the office. No one knows for sure.

    1. Obama’s Occidental College records — Not released
    2. Obama’s Columbia College records — Not released
    3. Obama’s Columbia Thesis paper — ‘not available’
    4. Obama’s Harvard College records — Not released
    5. Obama’s Selective Service Registration — Not released
    6. Obama’s Medical records — Not released
    7. Obama’s Illinois State Senate schedule — ‘not available’
    8. Obama’s Law practice client list — Not released
    9. Obama’s Certified Copy of original Birth certificate — Not released
    10. Obama’s Embossed, signed paper Certification of Live Birth — Not released
    11. Obama’s Harvard Law Review articles that were published (none I think)
    12. Obama’s University of Chicago scholarly articles
    13. Obama’s Record of baptism– Not released or ‘not available’
    14. Obama’s Illinois State Senate records–’not available’

I’m also curious about all the spin on his trip to Hawaii to see his ailing grandmother. The MSM talks about how humble he is and what a family man he is. Apparently his wife and daughters don’t share the same “closeness”. If she’s on her deathbed, you’d think the wife and kids would pay their last respects while she is still alive.

It’s been a while since I read Schumpeter’s book and I question whether your summation is accurate. But let us suppose it is and run with it. If you can show me a single historic instance where socialism in either its national or international varieties, met the “authentic” needs of the people (whatever that is and while you may think you can, you really can’t define it), I will be forever grateful. Note: defining the needs of the “people” as the needs of the leadership, the traditional out of the socialist, does not count.

But then again, I have lots of fear we will and RINO McCain will spend the next four years, like RINO Bush, placating, appeasing, and all but groveling before the democrat congress. If McCain wins, whatever happens over the next four years everyone will say if we only had elected Obamao none of this (fill in the blank) would have happened. In 2012, still relatively young politically, the One will be back more powerful than ever.

This a.m., they had a whole hour show with the Biden interview, plus other scandals in the Obama arena. They talked about the fact that this is what to expect in an Obama presidency…they will shoot down any questions they don’t like. Our moderate candidate even suggested he would consider a pro-choice running mate. Moderate conservatives have been beaten in ever election for the POTUS but NOOOOOOOOOOOO; we have to try once again. Yes, we need to rebuild. First we get rid of the RNC. Then we get rid of all – ALL – of the Republicans who voted for the crap sandwich when they knew we were against it. They have proven they have no desire to follow their constituents who put them in office and we CANNOT allow our elected officials to ignore those of us who put them in office.

That is just a start of the rebuilding that needs to take place.
