Obama tackles tough questions…with Mario Lopez

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 27, 2008 05:57 AM

What a freaking joke:

On Oct. 24, 2007, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., said that as president he would hold regular press conferences and “not just call on my four favorite reporters.”

But the Democratic presidential nominee hasn’t held a full press conference — submitting himself to more than a handful of questions from his whole press corps — in more than a month, since Sept. 24, 2008, in Clearwater, Fla.

The candidate often bemoans the media asking silly and superficial questions. The media isn’t focused on the important issues facing the nation, he complains.

On Saturday in Nevada, Obama sat for an exclusive interview with Mario Lopez, the actor who played “A.C. Slater” on “Saved by the Bell,” to air on the TV show “EXTRA!”

According to the promotional materials from “EXTRA!,” “Asked about the tragic news that (actress Jennifer) Hudson’s mother and brother were killed Friday in Chicago, Obama states, ‘Oh it was heartbreaking, in fact I’m still trying to get a phone number to call her at this tragic time. She is somebody who has campaigned for me, she also lives in my community. So, we’re really going to have to help her and pray for her and her family during this difficult time.’”

Ah that is what he is calling the questions asked of Biden down in Florida by WFTV Channel 9’s Barbara West.

Obama is the Messiah right? How come he doesnt already know Hudson’s phone number without needing to have someone get it? Or tell her where her other brother is? Or just lay hands on her mom/brother and have them rise up after three days.

Or lets go to easy stuff. How about he just fix the economy now, as a Senator, before the election, and heck, I would vote a straight Dem ticket too!

    Physician heal thyself…

But I see where he’s going with that Mario Lopez thing, that is one sexy man. In all fairness though, he should have Mark-Paul Gosselaar interview him too.

Maybe he should sit down with Jessie Spano from Bayside radio KTIG at the Max for a serious, hard-hitting interview about the dark cloud of fascism hanging over the school perpetrated by Mr. Belding.

Maybe he could stay around for a fashion segment with Lisa Turtle: “Tell me, Sen. Obama, why don’t you peg your suit pants?”

A.C. Slater is pretty mean and I am sure an aggressive reporter. I think he tried to steal Kelly from Zack Morris, then they became good friends.

Reality Check. Chicago is the Murder Capitol in the US, so he’d be having to make alot of phone calls. What he should was this,

“Murder is a huge issue in Chicago, and what we need to do is let those who feel without hope, and feel the everyday struggle of poverty, that through hard work and dedication you can get yourself up and not repeat this useless cycle.”

Fluff question, yes. Serious matter? Definitely.

Breaking news this morning is they found the body of Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew in the SUV they believe belongs to the man who killed Hudson’s mother and brother.

Murder in Chicago is their one growth industry which Commissar Daly and the GodFathers insulate with their handgun ban. God be with the people of Chicago but they brought this on themselves. All BroBama offers them is more of the same nationwide. He can offer us the The El Rukns,
Fruit of Islam and other Chicago street gangs as a replacement for the BATF&E. They are really expert at redistribution of wealth also. He Who Has Come would approve. All power does come from the barrel of El Rukns’ gun as Brobama’s alter ego Mao might put it.

Still unanswered question-where is your birth certificate? How did you get a passport without one? Ms. Lopez-anytime now.

I agree that we should leave Ms. Hudson out of the politics completely, but asking Obama about his chosen hometown is fair game. The murders were domestic violence perpetrated by her sisters’ ex; Biden keeps mentioning VAWA (possibly because he hasn’t done much else in 36 years) and yet O’s campaign supports and is supported by vehement misogynists. I find that interesting.

…also if Chicago’s gun laws weren’t so restrictive, someone in the household could have shot back. But the Chicago Machine that put O in the state senate and the U.S. Senate has decreed that Jennifer Hudson’s family shouldn’t be allowed to defend themselves. O’s agreement with their position should be asked and noted.

Oh, I totally don’t disagree that hard questions should be asked about Obama’s policies that have led to certain situations in Chicago (and elsewhere).

I just think this is too close and too f-d up to turn into a political grandstanding right now. The sick SOBs who killed a grown man and woman killed a 7-year-old boy for no reason other than evil. It’s really, really been bothering me and the pictures of that poor, adorable boy are haunting. I wish I could type here what I really think about the people who shot that child to death. Since my son was born, I can’t help but look at other children and think of him and how I’d have to absolutely be institutionalized if someone hurt him (mostly for their sake and safety, not my own).

The level of misogyny coming out of the left doesn’t surprise me, either. These are people who consider it a “woman’s health issue” to guarantee the “right” to be butchered by some quack abortionist who keeps practicing even as the bodies of women pile up. Who also deried stay-at-home mothers and women with more than 1.5 children.

The correlations between Obama’s liberal social policies and violence are interesting. Indeed, the left’s desire for “freedoms from constraint” (read: promiscuity) often creates situations where women live with boyfriends who are abusive and wind up killing them, or their children. All because feminists think marriage is an oppressive institution. Yah, right.

The study in contradiction is mind-boggling.
