For months, the Obamedia has detected racist “code” in every utterance, gesture, and wardrobe choice of conservatives and Republicans who have dared to oppose The One. Community organizer = racist. Wearing white = racist. Criticizing ACORN = racist. “That one” = racist. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
It’s time to flip the script and use a decoder ring on Obama’s words. Today in Ohio, the Spreader of Wealth will deliver his “closing argument.” His vow: To “restore” a “higher purpose.”
Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is returning to his promise of “a new politics” as he delivers what his campaign calls his “Closing Argument Speech On The Change We Need” in Canton, Ohio, a lunchtime on Monday.
“In one week, you can put an end to the politics that would divide a nation just to win an election; that tries to pit region against region, city against town, Republican against Democrat; that asks us to fear at a time when we need hope,” he says.
With a comfortable lead in state and national polls, Obama is kicking off the final full week of his grueling two-year campaign by shelving the slam and poke of the daily grind for a reminder of the reasons he initially captured the imagination of national Democrats as a promising young unknown.
“In one week, at this defining moment in history, you can give this country the change we need,” he says in prepared remarks. “[A]s I’ve said from the day we began this journey all those months ago, the change we need isn’t just about new programs and policies. It’s about a new politics – a politics that calls on our better angels instead of encouraging our worst instincts; one that reminds us of the obligations we have to ourselves and one another.”
“Change We Need” = Less change in your pocket.
“New politics” = old, failed redistributionist politics.
“Obligations…to…one another” = From each according to his ability…
“What has also been lost is the idea that in this American story, each of us has a role to play. Each of us has a responsibility to work hard and look after ourselves and our families, and each of us has a responsibility to our fellow citizens. That’s what’s been lost these last eight years – our sense of common purpose; of higher purpose. And that’s what we need to restore right now.”
“A role to play” = You pay.
“Higher purpose” = “Reparative economic work” and “redistributive change.”

With all due respect Michelle, his supporters are not listening. If he wins, the country will not be the same even one year from now. I suspect there maybe no more elections.

A woman I work with who’s totally in the bag for Obama and his “sharing the wealth” policies was talking this morning about her son, a pharmacist, who worked 9 days in a row – including several 12-hour days.
“What’s wrong with that picture?” she asked.
I bit my tongue, but I find it highly ironic that she supports a candidate who not only would require her son to work, but would take a significant of his income to give to people who don’t work as hard (or at all).
America as we have known it is gone folks…the public education system that we’ve been financing with our tax dollars have indoctrinated our citizens over the past 40 years…we’ve allowed the liberals to train our children and now we’re paying the price…we should be ashamed…
Yes, the country needs a change, but not in that direction. We need to get rid of the corrupt politicians and find honest politician, if any exist.

I am in the computer business and I am on call 24/7 every day of the year … It is unusual for me to get 2 days off in a row unless I take some vacation days … And there are times in emergency computer outages that I work 30 or more hours non-stop on a major problem …
Next time she complains ask her how she feels about our military that has their lives on the line non-stop 24/7 in foreign lands so her son can work those 9 days in a row … he works for 8 or so hours each of those days in a safe comfortable environment and then goes home to his family and forgets about work until the next day … Our troops don’t get to go home totheir families each night and say “to hell with my job until my next shift” …

Nerve racking as it certainly is at this point, I don’t think that the vast majority of our citizens will be voting for Barry & Bubba. The MSM has done an admirable job in defining the candidates and determining the out come, but I think that they failed in most of the country, I think that more of us actually know who Barry & Bubba are than you would think. I live in Minnesota too (Bloomington) and I have already voted. Not that it will do much good, but maybe we can at least save Norm Coleman from Al Freaky Franken. Obama was in Colorado yesterday (NOT “way back” – ha! – in 2001…) and said (I’m quoting here from memory, pardon if it’s a bit off…),

Umm…maybe by their “economic policies” he meant “Capitalism”?!
After hearing the 2001 radio broadcast, the pattern becomes ever more clear; no need to “invent” specious insinuations (i.e. “white shirt = racist”).
Obama threatens our Constitutional Republic in ways that many in our country do not even understand. And, they certainly don’t like to be called on it. Unfortunately, too many U.S. citizens don’t understand it and, even more fightening, they many don’t even realize that we have a “Constitutional Republic.”
Obama speaks in whole paragraphs. A single sentence extracted out of a well reasoned discussion may misrepresent what he actually was saying.
The most recent supposed Republican bombshell is from an interview where Obama criticizes the civil rights movement for thinking that the courts could make their life better by redistributing wealth. He praises the courts for refusing to order redistribution.

For a look at the future you really need to read George Will’s article about Arizona’s Prop 101 which if it passes will exempt AZ from a national health care plan. Some Red states are drawing up battle lines over federalism even now. The GOP can cede ground at the Federal level for now and bolster their strenght in the states.
