Obama’s “higher purpose” = code for wealth redistribution

Photoshop credit: The People’s Cube

For months, the Obamedia has detected racist “code” in every utterance, gesture, and wardrobe choice of conservatives and Republicans who have dared to oppose The One. Community organizer = racist. Wearing white = racist. Criticizing ACORN = racist. “That one” = racist. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

It’s time to flip the script and use a decoder ring on Obama’s words. Today in Ohio, the Spreader of Wealth will deliver his “closing argument.” His vow: To “restore” a “higher purpose.”

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is returning to his promise of “a new politics” as he delivers what his campaign calls his “Closing Argument Speech On The Change We Need” in Canton, Ohio, a lunchtime on Monday.

“In one week, you can put an end to the politics that would divide a nation just to win an election; that tries to pit region against region, city against town, Republican against Democrat; that asks us to fear at a time when we need hope,” he says.

With a comfortable lead in state and national polls, Obama is kicking off the final full week of his grueling two-year campaign by shelving the slam and poke of the daily grind for a reminder of the reasons he initially captured the imagination of national Democrats as a promising young unknown.

“In one week, at this defining moment in history, you can give this country the change we need,” he says in prepared remarks. “[A]s I’ve said from the day we began this journey all those months ago, the change we need isn’t just about new programs and policies. It’s about a new politics – a politics that calls on our better angels instead of encouraging our worst instincts; one that reminds us of the obligations we have to ourselves and one another.”

“Change We Need” = Less change in your pocket.

“New politics” = old, failed redistributionist politics.

“Obligations…to…one another” = From each according to his ability…

“What has also been lost is the idea that in this American story, each of us has a role to play. Each of us has a responsibility to work hard and look after ourselves and our families, and each of us has a responsibility to our fellow citizens. That’s what’s been lost these last eight years – our sense of common purpose; of higher purpose. And that’s what we need to restore right now.”

“A role to play” = You pay.

“Higher purpose” = “Reparative economic work” and “redistributive change.”

Is the message getting through yet?

I bit my tongue, but I find it highly ironic that she supports a candidate who not only would require her son to work, but would take a significant of his income to give to people who don’t work as hard (or at all).

Check out this from Freerepublic. It is from William Bradford’s Of Plymouth Plantation:

Before leaving Europe, the Pilgrims entered into a contract with the “Adventurers” (the Pilgrims’ backers, if you will). That contract, from July 1, 1620, stated in part:

The persons transported and the Adventurers shall continue their joint stock and partnership together, the space of seven years … during which time all profits and benefits that are got by trade, traffic, trucking, working, fishing, or any other means of any person or persons, remain still in the common stock until the division.
… That at the end of the seven years, the capital and profits, viz. the houses, lands, goods and chattels, be equally divided betwixt the Adventurers and Planters; which done, every man shall be free from other of them of any debt or detriment concerning this adventure.
… That all such persons as are of this colony are to have their meat, drink, apparel, and all provisions out of the common stock and goods of the said colony.
In other words, the Pilgrims established a socialist society. Make everything common; keep it all equal, and all will be happy. Interestingly, however, it took far fewer than the contracted seven years for them to realize that what looked good on paper was disastrous in reality. And by 1623, they decided to put an end to this “common course.” Bradford (who, incidentally, served for years as governor of Plymouth) wrote:

All this while no supply was heard of, neither knew they when they might expect any. So they began to think how they might raise as much corn as they could, and obtain a better crop than they had done, that they might not still thus languish in misery. At length, after much debate of things, the Governor (with the advice of the chiefest amongst them) gave way that they should set corn every man for his own particular, and in that regard trust to themselves; in all other things to go on in the general way as before. And so assigned to every family a parcel of land, according to the proportion of their number, for that end, only for present use…. This had very good success, for it made all hands very industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been by any means the Governor or any other could use, and saved him a great deal of trouble, and gave far better content. The women now went willingly into the field, and took their little ones with them to set corn; which before would allege weakness and inability; whom to have compelled would have been thought great tyranny and oppression.
Notice particularly what Bradford goes on to say:

The experience that was had in this common course and condition, tried sundry years and that amongst godly and sober men, may well evince the vanity of that conceit of Plato’s and other ancients applauded by some of later times; that the taking away of property and bringing in community into a commonwealth would make them happy and flourishing; as if they were wiser than God. For this community (so far as it was) was found to breed much confusion and discontent and retard much employment that would have been to their benefit and comfort. For the young men, that were most able and fit for labour and service, did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other men’s wives and children without any recompense….
Indeed, centuries before Karl Marx’s “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs,” William Bradford and the Pilgrims of Plymouth Plantation learned the hard way that far from being “good for everybody,” spreading the wealth around breeds “confusion and discontent.”

So, if there are riots, they’ll ravage their own communities first, then spill over to nearby areas.

    Correct.

As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I showered him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures — even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him a concentration camp — he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom. When a military boot crashes his butt, then he will understand, but not before that. That’s the tragedy of the situation of demoralization.

If he wins, the country will not be the same even one year from now. I suspect there maybe no more elections.

    Correct.

But, there are rays of hope…

    1) There hasn’t been this many Democrats voting Republican since Ronald Reagan.

    2) Obama cannot win without MASSIVE fraud. That fraud is being exposed, and as long as we push for it to be prosecuted, convicted, and prevented, we can stop Obama’s supporters from stealing this election.

    3) If the Supreme Court forces Obama to prove that he is a Natural Born Citizen, his campaign is over and he will be exposed as a fraud.
