The wealth redistribution tape and media failure
Read Bill Whittle in NRO today:
I happen to know the person who found this audio. It is an individual person, with no more resources than a desire to know everything that he or she can about who might be the next president of the United States and the most powerful man in the world.
I know that this person does not have teams of highly paid professionals, does not work out of a corner office in a skyscraper in New York, does not have access to all of the subtle and hidden conduits of information … who possesses no network television stations, owns no satellite time, does not receive billions in advertising dollars, and has a staff of exactly one.
I do not blame Barack Obama for believing in wealth distribution. That’s his right as an American. I do blame him for lying about what he believes. But his entire life has been applying for the next job at the expense of the current one. He’s at the end of the line now.
I do, however, blame the press for allowing an individual citizen to do the work that they employ standing armies of so-called professionals for. I know they are capable of this kind of investigative journalism: It only took them a day or two to damage Sarah Palin with wild accusations about her baby’s paternity and less time than that to destroy a man who happened to be playing ball when the Messiah decided to roll up looking for a few more votes on the way to the inevitable coronation.
We no longer have an independent, fair, investigative press. That is abundantly clear to everyone — even the press. It is just another of the facts that they refuse to report, because it does not suit them.

We can only hope and pray that enough Americans will reflect on this in the voting booth and maybe realize that there is much unknown about Oblama. This guy is a Marxist. With Reid, Pelosi, Barney Frank, And John(I served in VietNam)Kerry get ready for the big BOHICA.

I personally declare war on the MSM.
The MSM is good at investigating only what they want to investigate, i.e. McCain/Palin, Joe the Plumber. They want Hussein to win so bad, they just ignore or cover up anything that puts him in a bad light.
Freedom and the ideas engrained, allows it to fall into the hands of tyranny. Rome is an example. Germany is another. If the Reps lose more seats this fall, I am afraid we will be entering a Caesar Stage in our country’s history.
I fear that we in this country who do not see things the Messiah’s way are in for a lot of legal and illegal attempts to silence us. Our only hope is to beat him at the polls. And the only way to do that is to go out and vote for McCain/Palin.

There were plenty of people who were completely astounded that they ended up politically imprisoned in Hitler’s Germany or Castro’s Cuba.
More correctly, they fail to report it because it does not enrage them.
I used to work at a newspaper (not in the news division). Get the editors angry about something – better yet, get them righteously outraged – and they will move heaven and earth to tell the world what is wrong.
Obama does not anger them. His history does not outrage them. His empty promises do not infuriate them. So what could there possibly be to dig into?
It’s an emotion thing. Palin makes them mad so they pull out all the stops to tear her down. Obama makes them happy, so they pull out all the stops to make HIM happy.
And they think they’re doing a GREAT job.

Good job on Fox this morning Michelle. The treatment of Joe”the plumber” after his encounter with the “One” and Biden’s snit fit on air are an indication of how the Obama administration would react to unfavorable questions. This is classic attack the questioner and discredit those that dare disagree with them. Not only will there be wealth redistribution under Obama’s new SCOTUS but, free speech will be a thing of the past.

Just Say NO!
Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read ‘Vote Obama, I need the money.’ I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server had on a ‘Obama 08′ tie, again I laughed–just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need–the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $5 and told him to thank the server inside as I decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient was more in need of the money.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application

Unfortunately, this isn’t news. We’ve known for some time now that the news media are in the pocket of the favorite Democrat any given day.
It is, however, good to know that the vacuum caused by this fact is easily filled with people like us.

Excellent spot on Fox & Friends today, MM. We’ve got to keep up the fight, all of us, however we can.
I have refrained so far from stating alarmist opinions and done my best to be respectful of Obama supporters, many of whom really are acting with good intentions. But now… now I’m genuinely afraid.
If wealth and success are penalized, wealth and success will flee. This is not the America I knew.
I think you are on to something here.
Maybe a union of bloggers and commentors dedicated to war on the MSM.

I can see that. What comes to my mind is something I heard about more than 30 years ago, a so-called checklist that the Soviets supposedly prepared on how to subvert American society and government. Some of the many check-boxes were things like:

- Cause the population to lose faith in their media.

- The president’s and congressional approval ratings are at or near all-time lows. Neither can get anything done. Hopenchange has guaranteed that from now on, the presidency is for sale to the highest bidder. There was a time that I felt the media had Americas back. While now I know they are still behind us I see them as the ones wielding the knife.
A year or two ago you could watch CSPAN and see that when Obama showed up for a Senate vote nobody huddled with him, he was not given any special focus by other Senators. He was a mere junior Senator unimportant among his peers.
Now he is been elevated into this transformational figure with god-like stature mainly by the press.
The morality and credibility assigned to Obama was fabricated in the media outlets as much as is was by the hype machine of his campaign.
The man is actually laughable as a candidate except when one does the digging the media refuses to. That is when you realize the joke is on the American people.
The media in this country are killing our representative system faster than any other force and they seem to be doing so with very selfish motive.
Obama is a joke compared to McCain, and the army of media that sits on their typing fingers while the most deceptive and radical figure to ever run for the office makes plans to change the entire country for the worse, they scoff at us!
It’s a race between good people who want to get information about Obama out to the public and the Obama Vote Early campaign.
Early voting should be unConstitutional. Those votes cannot be retracted no matter what information comes to light.

I am beyond disgusted by Obama’s comments. However that disgust pales in comparison to what I feel for the media.

Question:
What government agency is ultimately responsible for verifying that Mr. Obama meets all regulatory requirements for potential presidency?
Specifically, that he is indeed a natural born citizen with an official birth certificate.
