Yep, you’ll get a page-full of hysterical blog posts from Obama cultists claiming that someone shouted the n-word over the weekend at a Palin rally. And Palin did nothing, they wail!
A diarist at The Daily Kos drummed up wild-eyed outrage yesterday:

Being an African-American that has looked past race most of my life, it jolted me to hear what I heard in this video at a recent McCain/Palin KKK rally. One of Palin’s “rabid” supporters decides to further explain why they shouldn’t vote for Obama, and “Mrs Pitbull” doesn’t even bat an eye.
She goes on to talk about what other countries do in regards to socialism, but the fact that she didn’t have the courage to stand up and face the bigot that probably doesn’t represent 90% of the crowd baffles me. It’s 2008, and there are still many people that actually believe that a persons skin color is sufficient enough reason to hate that person.
Maybe I’m being hyper-sensitive, but this is just amazing to me.
I guess when you’re used to preaching, spreading and inciting hatred, things like this won’t phase you. Disgusting! We DESERVE Obama as the President of this great country. Not because he’s black, but because he’s smart and he represents the growth of this country.

I attended the Sarah Palin rally in Des Moines, IA on Saturday 10/25 and I videotaped the whole thing. Well, just tonight, I found a video on YouTube that is called “N-word shouted at Palin Rally” and it is a clip from that rally. The part they are showing, I clearly remember, but I thought the person yelled out “redistributor” instead of “he’s a n-word”, so I went back and watched my own videotape.
SURPRISE! What the person actually said was “and stickin’ together” and it was in response to what Sarah Palin was talking about, which had nothing to do with Obama at the time.
…I posted several responses on the YouTube site that they are dead wrong, but of course, no one believes me. It already has a ton of hits and I feel so bad that they are saying that Sarah heard it and didn’t respond. She didn’t respond because IT WASN’T SAID!! It is late at night here, but I called the
McCain headquarters and left a message and sent an email.

For an entire day, a well-meaning, false, yet highly recommended diary has claimed that the woman was actually shouting “and he’s a nigger!”
I don’t blame the diarist. But we should have known better.

Truth be damned. In the far-flung corners of Obama Land, “redistributor” is code for the n-word, anyway.

I attended a Palin rally in Kissimme,Florida this past Sunday.
There were SEVEN THOUSAND supporters there—with one day’s notice and very little publicity. I saw many “Democrats for McCain” tee shirts and stickers on shirts. Very, very polite and excited crowd of good people. Happy people.
I listened carefully for weirdos shouting strange things to please the Kos crowd—nothing, except “Sarah, Sarah,Sarah!” and “USA, USA, USA!”
Some “boos” for Obama, but that was it.
No radical libs or Code Pinkos to spoil the party, either.
Sarah Palin was simply fantastic.
The Democrat lies continue—but that is part of their deluded culture, bless their hearts.

What these people are doing is setting the stage for a racial struggle which because of their small numbers, they cannot win. Mugabe thought he was doing something smart by confiscating all of the productive farm land and giving it to the “war veterans” too. The unintented consequence in that case? Starvation!

I really think that this campaign has brought out feelings of racism that were previously not recognized. The divisiveness of Obama’s campaign, the charges of “racism” for every single thing said about Obama’s policies or past associations, etc. First, we were annoyed by it. Then, we got angry. Now, we are just numbed by it. Unfortunately, because the charge of racism was bandied about so freely, some of us now say things that really do sound racist, but most likely are sarcasm. It is hard to discern sarcasm in print. I do admit that some of the comments on these threads sound very racist to me, regardless of the issue of being too sensitive or not. We need to be careful not to fall into that trap. I have never thought of myself as racist. But, as I said, this campaign is so focused on race, it is hard not to get caught up in it. Obama says he wants us to all come together, yet he is the most divisive candidate we have ever had.
Most of my in-laws still live in South Africa. It is hard to get a homeland out of one’s blood. Even when it is falling down around you.

I just love how the guy claims that he has “…looked past race most of my life…” yet posts the same ol tired and worn out KKK referrences, the claims that anyone who is running as a Rep. is “… used to preaching, spreading and inciting hatred…” and thus would not be phased by such a word being shouted etc. This person is yet another life-long race-baiting hatred-filled Liberal who seems to find racists in every corner of every building. They think the disclaimer of, “I have never been…” is enough to cover the rest of their racism laced diatribe and lies.
Yet there is another thing that they are now claiming:
They are now claiming to know what a person can and cannot hear from the stage during a rally where thousands of people are screaming different things.
Forget where the person who yelled alleged epithet was in relation to the camera. That has nothing to do with it. If said innocent, never before saw anything through the eyes of a racist, tree-hugging, Kumbaya-singing Liberal supposedly heard it, well then by the goddess so did their intended target.
The fact that this racist did NOT hear this word, that they, through the filter of their own hatred and racism heard a word that was not said at all, should be a lesson that even if such things were to be shouted, that is not sufficient evidence that the speaker actually heard, let alone understood said word(s).
However, that does not matter. Once again, damage done. Truth be damned. After all, what actually happened is not as important as what was claimed happened. It is the Bush Papers all over again. No one yuelled it this time…but hey…they were probably all thinking it anyway.
Oh, and nevermind how many times the words, “Cracker(ah)”, “White-boy/White-girl”, orany of a dozen other socially acceptable terms to disgrace, insult and/or degrade white people on any number of Liberal or Obama websites, at their rallies, or anything else. THAT doesn’t count and is NEVER considered racist.
Afterall, when you can have a successful children’s movie frinchise that can use the term “Cracka-lackin” in not one, but now two movies, (referring to the fact that the place they found themselves in is perfect, so perfect in fact that it is ‘lacking crackahs’ Madigascar I&II)then pretty much anything stated against whites is on the table and just fine.

Interesting: when I post comments that are well-linked to supporting documentation you go ad hominin, and excepting this instance, when I just blow off steam you rebut w/facts.
That type of response usually means you’re trying to re-take the battlefield initutive by whats called “converting through covering fire”.
In other words, you may not make a “hangin’ Palin” Halloween display, but you essentually agree with it — and you don’t want people to realize it. The exposure of your hidden sympathies would properly index your “cogent” thoughts on the energy-band of discussion to the thermal-band noise it actually inhabits instead of the x-ray band you prefer to believe it populates.
So, you fire fast & wild in the general direction of your enemy, hopin’ for change(tm) to keep their head down so you can slink off the field w/o more hits.
Of course, I might be misreading it. It might be that you actually lack the mental accuity necessary to understand original thoughts not spoon-fed through the babyfood strainer of Lefty Liberalism. I suppose it is possible. After all, some of the most successful lawyers in history have had functional IQs in the only high 90s. (… though I admit they had the dishonesty facet of their personality so well developed it more than compensated …)
I discounted that hypth. based on (admittedly) subjective evidence: All people I’ve met who had IQ less than 100 are pleasant people, and most were wise.

Is saying “WHEN BLACK FOLKS DECIDE TO KILL US WHITEYS OFF, THEY GET A FREE PASS, JUST YOU WAIT” racist? (This third quote, amazingly, was deleted from this very thread about a half hour ago! Wonder why? It’s pretty ironic, in any case.)
To claim that it’s foolish and outrageous to say that yes, there are flat out racist Obama haters here is ludicrous.

Waterspout…Those comments do sound racist to me, and as I said in my post #77, I don’t condone those things. And, I caution the people on this thread not to fall into the trap of becoming desensitized to the term “racism” and feel that saying blatantly racist things is now acceptable because the word has been diluted. On the other hand, being overly sensitive to these things is just silly.
