1. You support our current personal income tax system. By its very nature of being a progressive tax it is redistributionist which is socialist. Therefore, how can you deny you are a socialist?

2. Your campaign expressed the view that our government has the duty to protect the private information of the American people and that it not be used for political purposes. Why have you not vehemently denounced the apparent unauthorized and inappropriate accessing of Samuel Joseph “Joe the plumber” Werzelbacher’s private information when the reports first surfaced?

3. You have been proclaiming that you want to help “the folks” by giving them a tax cut. Why, then, has the figure of who will get a tax increase varied from $250K to $200K to $150K? Shouldn’t you already know what that figure needs to be to raise the needed revenues for your proposed spending increases?

4. In a different vein of helping “the folks” through tax relief, why have you not proposed the replacement of the current personal AND business income taxes and all other payroll taxes with the revenue-neutral FairTax inclusive sales tax instead? Such a change in the tax system would provide all American people with 100% of their pay each payday as well as relieving them of the burden of having to prepare a tax return to get back their money withheld in excess of their tax burden and would remove an invasion of personal privacy that should be protected by the Constitution. (I’d like to ask McCain this one, as well.)

5. Why have you not denounced efforts to silence anyone who might have a criticism of you and/or your policy positions?

6. From the interview you gave to a Chicago radio station while you were a state senator, you appear to disagree with the Constitution and the principles of our founding fathers that were included within it. In particular, you seem to favor a system of equality of outcome that is in opposition to the system of equality of opportunity that our founding fathers set out in the Constitution. How can you justify such a position when it is the system of equality of opportunity that has led to this country becoming the greatest demonstration of how to achieve the highest standards of living for the most people that the world has ever seen?

7. The lack of a Fairness Doctrine–removed over 25 years ago–appears to be a clear demonstration of the benefits of a free marketplace. Before its repeal, there were only about 100 radio stations engaged in talk. Since then, the number of radio stations programming talk is over 1000. The free marketplace has shown that people want to hear what is on talk radio today. Why, then, reenact the Fairness Doctrine when it is clear that it would only remove from the marketplace what people want to hear? The only possible reason would be to suppress freedom of speech in direct opposition to the right guaranteed in the Bill of Rights.

Do you acccept the CommunistPartyUSA endorsement of your candidacy? How are they correct in thinking that you will “move our nation forward with a broadly progressive agenda” ?

Are they correct in saying that “Capitalism is fatally flawed”? If so, what would you replace it with?

Article 40. Article 43. Citizens have the right to maintenance in old age, in sickness, and in the event of complete or partial disability or loss of the breadwinner.
The right is guaranteed by social insurance of workers … by other forms of social security.

Article 44. Citizens have the rights to housing.
This right is ensured by the development and upkeep of state and socially-owned housing; by assistance for co-operative and individual house building; by fair distribution, under public control, of the housing that becomes available through fulfilment of the programme of building well-appointed dwellings, and by low rents and low charges for utility services.

Article 45. Citizens have the right to education.
This right is ensured by free provision of all forms of education, by the institution of universal, compulsory secondary education, and broad development of vocational, specialised secondary, and higher education, in which instruction is oriented toward practical activity and production; … by the free issue of school textbooks; by the opportunity to attend a school where teaching is in the native language; and by the provision of facilities for self-education.

Article 49. Every citizen has the right to submit proposals to state bodies and public organisations for improving their activity, and to criticise shortcomings in their work.
Officials are obliged, within established time-limits, to examine citizens’ proposals and requests, to reply to them, and to take appropriate action.
Persecution for criticism is prohibited. Persons guilty of such persecution shall be called to account.[ask Joe the Plumber]

Article 53. The family enjoys the protection of the state.
Marriage is based on the free consent of the woman and the man; the spouses are completely equal in their family relations.
The state helps the family by providing and developing a broad system of childcare institutions, by organising and improving communal services and public catering, by paying grants on the birth of a child, by providing children’s allowances and benefits for large families, and other forms of family allowances and assistance.

Article 57. Respect for the individual and protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens are the duty of all state bodies, public organisations, and officials.
Citizens have the right to protection by the courts against encroachments on their honour and reputation, [like Joe the Plumber]

I edited this for emphasis and , of course, to obscure the fact that this it the Soviet Constitution. Much of what I cut out says these things are designed to advance the cause of socialism.
