It helps when you know where the texans are coming from. Instead of hitting my flank, they hit 6 battalions in ranks while they were still in columns. It took about 5 volleys to shatter the texan columns.

Well, I’ll turn off the television but I went one better. I made a point of either calling or emailing the local stations to tell them that I would NOT watch their station during the time Obama was going to air his political smut! I was polite and friendly and I didn’t use the language I just used, but I was firm that I was not going to tune in to their station during that time. CBS was polite and non-comittal. NBC was smug and unfriendly. Fox was emailed and I’ve not gotten an answer back yet.

I have a constructive TV-based alternative for y’all. Instead of turning off the TV, why not just change the channel to ABC, and experience the most delightful show on my viewing schedule (“Pushing Daisies”)?

It’s a win-win – you get to hear witty dialog, and “PD” gets better ratings, increasing the chances that it will be renewed for a 3rd year. Also, you’ll reward ABC for NOT airing the Messiah’s infomercial.
