How some Philadelphians celebrate victory: Riot!

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 30, 2008 12:46 PM

Brotherly love.

Your team wins. How do you show your pleasure?

Take to the streets, rampage, overturn cars, and rob banks.

Here’s a vid of a car torching after the Phillies’ win:

You’ll recall that a Philadelphia Daily News columnist threatened riots if Obama loses on Tuesday.

Who knows what they’ll do if he wins.

Michelle…spoken like a true ex-Philadelphian. You’re painting us with a broad brush. I don’t know if you recall the crap that happened in LA after the Lakers won earlier this decade. There were a few idiots doing some really stupid stuff. It’s every city, not just us.

One guy robbed a bank. A few tipped over cars. But do you make that distinction between those few people and the vast majority? No, you’re an alarmist, and you sound exactly like the liberals that scream “vast right-wing conspiracy” every time they lose. You did the same thing with John McCain in the primaries and constantly with Catholics.

I get that the majority of Philadelphia is Democrat, and most likely blindly voting for Obama, but does that mean you have to stereotype the many on the actions of a few?

Thanks! There was (is?) a big colosseum gun show going on over here and my whole family (grandparents included!!!) wanted to go out there. growing up, we had a rifle but no handguns, so, I’m a bit squeamish with the kids…safes sound good to me. It’s definitely on the radar.

Thanks again for the great responses. Husband wants to tough it out over here…but given the recent crime, I think you never can be too sure.

Well, I got the firearm I spoke about a couple of days ago.

It was the .38 special. The man of the house got a 12-guage shotgun. Both are American-made.

The odd thing is, after purchase, gun owners came out of the woodwork to congratulate us.

Thanks to those who advised me.

Oh, and I bought two boxes of hollow points for the .38.

AZ is on my short list. And I’m keeping that original tube handy…

Conservative should congregate in Red states en masse, thereby removing electoral votes from blue states and adding them to states like TX and AZ. An impractical goal, but a nice thought.

wighttrasch, rightisright, I have a .45-70 single-shot rifle that costs me a dollar to pull the trigger. As you might guess, it doesn’t get used much. I go to gun shows here to buy my ammo. There is a store here, too, that sells Russian made Wolf brand ammo. Cheap, and good for practice.

After clinging to our God and Guns we have to do strange things such as WORK. Remember the Million Man March? Only 19 of them missed work.

Now if I did see some damn fool breaking in or burning my place or any other place there would be no need to call the police. Not right away.
Not that I advocate vigilantism in any way, certainly not.

Just to add emphasis that the left demands victory next week, they threaten to riot if they lose. “Civil War 2″. I suppose they will go out and burn out their own neighborhoods, like ’68, and we, the taxpayers, will have to foot the bill to clean it up, once again. Might be a good time to take a nice cruise somewhere.

The Lying Media Could Have Blood on Their Hands

It has never bothered the Left to have blood on their hands. Father Lenin did say “to make omelets you have to break a few eggs”. There is Williams Ayres calling for the death of 25 million unrepentant capitalist. The more horrendous Stalins’ gulag the more our Left held him dear.

The death of innocents is part and parcel of the Left and the Party of Death.
