You might be a redneck if…

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 30, 2008 10:49 PM

You’ll love Bill Russell’s latest mailer, which nails John Murtha to the wall. A reader wonders why the heck Sarah Palin isn’t campaigning in John Murtha’s district with GOP true maverick Bill Russell. I already endorsed that idea — noting that a Palin/Gretchen Wilson performance of “Redneck Woman” would bring down the house.

It’s not too late! Murtha’s running scared. Run him out of the House for good. Bill Russell: For Congress. For Country.

Here’s an email I got today about Rednecks:

You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, ‘One nation, under God.’

You might be a redneck if: You’ve never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a redneck if: You still say ‘ Christmas’ instead of ‘Winter Festival.’

You might be a redneck if: You bow your head when someone prays.

You might be a redneck if: You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem.

You might be a redneck if: You treat our armed forces veterans with great respect, and always have.

You might be a redneck if: You’ve never burned an American flag, nor intend to.

You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe and you aren’t afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and raised your kids to do the same.

You might be a redneck if: You’d give your last dollar to a friend.

I was going to post this on another thread but its long dead, so:

Watershed, and all, regarding Acorn and massive voter registration fraud. This is the same tactic, by the same people, the same names, that has been used for decades now. It is called the Cloward-Piven Strategy, and involved overloading systems (like an internet DDOS attack) in order to get them to collapse. They did it (same people) in NYC in the late 60’s early 70’s. NYC, as planned by Cloward and Piven, these communist/marxist professors, was the subject of an attack on the welfare system, in which every minority in the city was ruthlessly ENCOURAGED to go to the welfare offices, in droves, with picket signs and all the protest trappings, and DEMAND all the bennies that the system had to offer. This was not to help the pooooor blacks and latinos in the city. This was, admittedly to the duo responsible, an attack on the evil capitalist system.

Overloading on purpose by using blacks, they did the same recently, using the same exact tactics, to the federal home loan system, causing the collapse of Freddie and Fannie. THAT WAS THE G***AMN PLAN. Not to help the poooor under-housed people get homes. They were the pawns, and they did the whole demonstration in the bank lobbies thing again, used the anger and rage of the poor (after keeping them in ghettos of their design and maintenance for 40 f&&&&&g years…), to make FM/FM go bust, while making millions (Raines, Dodd, Obama, Frank, et ad nauseum al.)

The registration fraud is the same deal. Go read some:
Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis

The rest of you need to know this too. Download it before it disappears. Obama is the Weathermen candidate, and he doesn’t want to lead America, he wants to Punish her. Research Cloward-Piven and tell your friends. It really IS a big conspiracy, and far-reaching and long-in-motion…and well-documented, because these profs love to write and publish and be read. And it really does, intentionally to boot, threaten the very nature of our nation. And Obama is tight as can be with many of these people. And has been for years.

Spread that article, and the Cloward-Piven meme around, becuase it needs more play (being the center of it all, and all.) Say Cloward-Piven until that s*** rolls off the tongue. Paint it on Welcome-To signs in the inner-city (Welcome to Cloward-Pivenville!) These people need to rise against their keepers, these communists who call themselves Democratic.

If they only knew. Sorry for OT.

In a dig at Rep. John Murtha, Ridge defended the conservative stances of many western Pennsylvanians.

“We’re not about being rednecks, and we’re not about being racists,” he said.

The race for the 12th Congressional District seat, long held by Murtha, was a primary focus of the event. His challenger, Bill Russell, drew perhaps the loudest applause of the night, taking the stage to classic R &B song “Hit the Road Jack” by Percy Mayfield.

“We can turn the tide here in Pennsylvania,” he told the audience. “We’re the Keystone State for a reason.”

Russell said the “U.S. is the Saudi Arabia of coal,” and added that Murtha has not worked to harness that potential.

“We should lead our nation toward economic and energy independence. If we develop these industries, we can free ourselves from the politics of the Middle East and OPEC,” he said

I’m a Red Neck – if being a white, gun owning conservative from the South is the definition..

What every Democrat should remember is that all of those blue states south of Maryland used to be red!

In 1865, a Republican administration sent Carpetbaggers to punish the South for our evil deeds. In doing so, they turned white people in the South to the Democrat party – so much so that, as the Dems became the liberal party in the ’30’s and ’40’s, Southerners still refused to vote Republican – even through the civil rights movement when (and yes, this is true) the majority of White Democrats did not want to integrate.

However, President Clinton, in less than 1 year after being elected, started a gun control debate where he and his staff degraded and insulted white Southerners by calling them uneducated and inbred over our Constitutional rights. He tried to tie our culture to the Gun issue. Suddenly, Dems can’t buy the South. So it took Clinton less than 12 months to completely reverse 135 years of loyalty. (If you read his book – and it is worth reading – he actually admits this.)

    Keep talkin’ Murtha.
