Audio: Obama will bankrupt the coal industry

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 2, 2008 10:30 AM

Sundy morning buzz: Everyone’s sending me the audio clip now up on YouTube of Obama telling the San Francisco Chronicle he’ll make it impossible for new coal plants to be built. The interview took place in January. The YouTube user is NakedEmperorNews, who uploaded Obama’s redistribution of wealth interview.

Bankrupty: The change Obama thinks the coal industry deserves…

You’re kidding right? People stocking up on guns, getting ready to kill each other, just as people have done for 1000s of years before us. Same old, same old. That’s not hope! That’s insanity!

Actually, that is an example of you deliberately misquoting me. To find out what I actually said before you tried to twist it, see post #133.

A person true to the US Constitution trusts in his gun, and not in his government. If that were not the case, then there would be no Declaration of Independence, no Constitution, and no USA. History class dismissed.

The sad part is, many people probably think their rights come from the Constitution, when in reality, all the Constitution does is merely recognize the rights that we already have by virtue of Nature’s God.

There are various opinions as to what to carry. In my opinion, as I have a conceal carry….. I believe to carry a weapon that is easy to maintain and use… has stopping power, and , in fact can be concealed. Above all, get familiarized with it as much as you can. I prefer the Smith and Wesson 6015 model 3 1/2 in barrel 5 shot 38/357/ Others will support getting an automatic… my response to them is.. you won’t get a chance to fire 8 to 15 rounds… and you’re not suppose to act like a Paladin in ‘Have Gun Will Travel” The choice is yours, but know how to use it better than anyone.

OT: Payback At a Biden Rally!

It’s about time but it looks like some loyal conservatives have treated Biden to the same thing his allies in Code Pink have been dealing out to our folks.

The protesters chanted “Say it ain’t so, Joe!” “Country first!” and “Obama’s not ready, Joe you said it,” referring to Biden’s guarantee at a Seattle fundraiser that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., would be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in office.

    Damn I wish I was there - the signs alone look like it was worth a trip;

    “It’s our dough, Joe!”
    “Obama not ready”
    “Barack Obama wants your money”
    “Why so socialist?”
    “Spread butter not wealth”
    “Abortion is murder”
“Don’t tax me for working hard”
    “Taxed to death”
    and
    “I wrote Joe’s speech.”

They say Biden was so flustered he couldn’t come up with someone elses words to use against the protesters.

the dialogue is connected with the thought process that is triggered by the knowledge that Obama, in light of his desire to have the power to bankrupt coal entities shows people that he plans on controlling and interfering with private rights and concerns. Hence, that diversion to the topic… no offense taken .. but I say that to explain the diversion.

Looks like his comments are getting out. Problem is it is probably too little, too late to make much of a difference. Considering some of the other bombshells that have been out there he should be seeing numbers in the low thirties. People just don’t want to hear the truth, don’t care, don’t believe it and are swallowing the MSM whitewash whole.

I have too wonder what Sen. Robert Byrde really thinks about Obama after this latest revelation? And why can’t union workers see that Democrat policies detroy or force oversees the large companies that provide those jobs. Will they be happy flipping burgers knowing that the evil corporation that was supposedly exploitng them was finally brought to it’s knees and destroyed?

And what do we do? It is impossible to rationalize with an Obama supporter now. But after the econonmy tanks, people start losing their jobs and those with good jobs start complaining about their higher taxes I am going to be very vocal in pointing out the Democrat policies that are causing their pain. People start to come to their senses when faced with economic realities, as opposed to the MSM manufactered suffering of the Bush years. I will remind them of the prosperity of the Bush years endlessly and harp on about every moronic gaffe by The One. Wait, forget that last item as I don’t have nearly enough time. Who cares what Byrd thinks.

I’m not worried about WV, there is no way WV will vote for Obama (it is a socially conservative state, and there is no large, liberal urban centers). I think PA is the state to watch. My guess is, whoever wins PA wins the presidency.

There is a hard lesson for the blue collar voters to be learned here. By voting for O they are cutting their own throats. McCain wants to build nuke plants and drill for oil which would create millions of construction and manufacturing jobs, Obama pays lip service, and doesnt have an energy plan except gov handouts to help his core constituents pay for their energy bills with your tax dollars. The union bosses are pushing hard for O because they want to organize the workers at wall mart. Big deal. Soon the trade unions will find out that a lot of the ACORN goons will be showing up at the hall for their share of dwindleing contruction jobs because commercial building will go into decline. Only then will they realize thier mistake.

I think the Republican party knew they were in trouble this go-round, but not how severely. I’m not just speaking of this campaign, but of the entire party. I suspect we’re going to see some major re-framing in the next couple of years. What this campaign did was highlight just how behind the curve the Repubs are. They sold themselves to the religious Right and now are experiencing a severe backlash. Not to mention, they have not done enough to distance themselves from the images of bigotry and ignorance. That does not mean that all Repubs are redneck bigots. It simply means they have not actively engaged enough in separating from that portion of the population (which admittedly exists in both parties). Through their rhetoric, they also tend to feed that portion of their members. Along with the expected return to the philosophy of small government and low spending, I suspect we’ll see them trying to redefine their image as being for “all Americans” instead of the White faith-based Americans (with a few token minorities) reputation they currently have.

After McCain and Palin have won I think we need to collectively petition John to charge Sarah the with the specific task of organizing a national dialogue to fully reveiew and evaluate the scientific basis for and the extent of the concept that ‘humans cause global warming’.

Sarah is the only one in the campaign to give a scientifically correct response when she approached the conclusion that WE SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH humans contribute to global warming and that it could be 99% or it could be less than 1%.

The liberals jumped all over her for that but I was VERY heartened to hear her say it and hope that all people with a background in SCIENCE feel the same way.

The most recent IPCC summary stated that humans VERY LIKELY contributed to global warming - but they NEVER indicated HOW MUCH! Hey, it’s a scientifically CORRECT statement to declare that spitting in the ocean very likely contributes to a rise in sea level.

And regardless of how much or how little our GHG emissions contribute ‘global warming’, from 100% to nil, if that is true then what about those TERMITES who contribute MORE GHG than we do? That’s right, TERMITES ALONE emit more GHG than human fossil fuel combustion! Does the word INSIGNIFICANT mean anything to the moonbats?

happyscrapper…. ah not to worry. My question is how Minnesotans consistently entertain and vote in whiny nasal voiced nimrods all the time to office, the latest being Al Frankenstein. How does a Minnesotan even think for a nano second this is a good thing?…. I’m a transplant from PA so I’m continually amazed.

I pray you are wrong about Franken being voted in. It was heartening to see the Star and Sickle actually endorse Coleman. I am no big fan of Coleman, but Franken? OMG! I’m envisioning a Congress full of creepy, left-wing nutjobs who have no morals, swear like drunken sailors, lie, cheat, take bribes. This could end up being the most corrupt congress in U.S. history. Oh wait…we have that now! One problem the Republican have is, too few good candidates!!! Where are they all?? The next four years MUST be a re-tooling of the republican party and get it back on track. Our platform has been so diluted, we are no longer republican, but centrist democrats. Drastic changes are needed if we are to survive.

I sure wish this kind of information had come out sooner, when we had time to get it out to the people. Thanks again, MSM. For those of the MSM who have been complicit in the cover-up of the truth, may you rot!

I share your concerns. All I can say is, we can only get people out to vote and vote ourselves, then let God handle the rest. I’m an election judge so I will be busy tomorrow and I will be SO vigilant.
