Carry me back to Osawatomie

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 3, 2008 02:18 PM

Zombie, the tireless Internet investigative journalist who dug up Bill Ayers’ Prairie Fire manifesto (before it hit Fox News), has excavated another telling piece of left-wing propaganda from the violent revolutionaries who laid the groundwork for the “community organizer” movement that suckled Barack Obama.

Read the first issue of Osawatomie, the Weather Underground’s newspaper here.

Spread the word. It’s not too late.

I hope.

    Nice one Watershed.

“Most despicable campaigns in history”. Wow, that hurt.

We aren’t loosing, BTW. After 8 years of a Republican President who finally surpassed a Democrat (no, it wasn’t Clinton) for the lowest approval ratings in history. A Republican whom the press has demonized and painted as a monster at every turn, a president who is (gasp) disliked in Europe, this election should be a landslide shoe in, no brainer for a Democrat. The Dems should be able to take even a shoe salesman from Missouri and run him for President and the Republicans shouldn’t even show up.

But guess what, it’s even money. Just like in 92, 96, 2000, and ‘04, there are still more Red States than blue on that map..

Any election victory that is not a landslide should be considered a complete defeat for Democrats. (Not that you will, narcissism is a powerful condition.) You have spent 8 years screaming dirty names at President Bush – the Republicans shouldn’t have a chance. Should they?

Yeah, he did it to Hillary, too. Guy’s a real loser – even if he wins.

    Ayers wrote his book.

Only a few people have made such allegations, which have, interestingly, not been rebutted substantively by the Obama campaign. The point is, Ayers could have written the book, since it doesn’t appear to differ materially from his own extremely radical beliefs. It doesn’t really matter if he did or not – a lot of “celebrities” have ghost-written books. It’s the content that counts. Another point, of course, is that if Obama did in fact write his own books, they constitute virtually the entirety of the record of his personal writings – including anything he may have written in college.

Obama is a foreigner with no US birth certificate.

Once again, rather than rebut this, Obama made an “emergency” trip to Hawaii to “visit his sick grandmother”, after which his records in that state were sealed. When you want to rebut an allegation, of course, sunlight works better than shadow. Unless the allegation is true.

    Obama is a secret Muslim.

Probably not, but on the other hand, those who are observed reciting the Muslim call to prayer and commenting on what a beautiful sound it is, raise a certain number of questions.

Barry refused to even engage in conversation with someone who holds views opposite his.) How is this in keeping with 60’s ethos of It’s All Cool, Man.

No. According to Barry, opposition is Verboten. I fear for you more than me

The announcement that his b.c. is valid came from Hawaii after he went there to visit his “sick” grandmother

The State of Hawaii says he was born here. You can take that for what it’s worth, but you’d have to say that the Health Department Director and the Registrar of Vital Statistics were both lying. At least Hawaii isn’t Ohio where everyone and their dog are combing through Joe the Plumber’s records.

What’s sad is that someone born here wants to wreck the place.

He isn’t calling Lincoln a liar. Lincoln didn’t lie. He was open about his actions in every way. He was being tactical and political. He never had to ask the definition of the word “is”. The historical record on Lincoln has, however, distorted many truths.

Lincoln was a great man. I am as Southern as a person can be but I can’t help but admire the first Republican ever to hand the Dems a defeat.

Funny, Obama’s Grandmother in Kenya stated he was born there. When asked again recently, she said she was told she couldn’t speak about it.

Why the cloak and dagger stuff, Barry?
Why not be open and honest, put forth the facts: Columbia record; Yale or was it Harvard record? Birth Certificate? Why “eliminate” the competition for the Chicago seat? (Unseal Mr. & Geri Ryan’s Divorce Records). Why was Joe the Plumber investigated? Why not “anything” to do with your history?
Inquiring minds are just curious. Any response Barry?

I must say that in my opinion Obama looks more like Malcom X than Barack Hussein Obama or any of the “relatives” from Kenya. It would be interesting to see Obama volunteer to do a DNA test with one of his “half-brothers” in Kenya and one of Malcolm X’s six children. Not going to happen, of course, but it would certainly be interesting.

I was talking to someone who thought that after Obama was elected, the press would eventually turn on him. I reminded them that this was highly unlikely because to investigate and report on Obama then would make readers WTF they were doing during the two years prior to the election when they were acting as his propagandists? To tell the truth about Obama now would prove they didn’t do their jobs then and that’s not going to happen.

Perhaps, but when Lincoln said it, it was after the civil war and was offered, perhaps, as a gesture of reconciliation with the South.

I wonder about the spectacle if Obama were to play the call to prayer outside the White House in the same fashion Lincoln played Dixie.

Obama doesn’t have time to release anything. He is too busy demanding that GOVERNOR Palin release her medical records and stuff like that.

See, they can demand AND receive any and all personal and confidential documents and files on McCain and Palin, but here, less than 24 hours from the election, we stil know NOTHING about Obama that was given to us by him or his campaign.

Sorry, I don’t know what the junior troll is referring to as far as this Malcolm X crap is concerned, but thinking about all that they have said concerning Sarah, and especially the claims they make that McCain was not tortured, I fail to see how anyone from the Left could possibly mock anything at this point, regardless of how hypocritiical they are.

People only hide things that they kknow aren’t true or will damage them. So why is Obama sealing things, instead of presenting them?
