On November 3rd, 2008 at 11:54 am, Tennyson said:

Investigations? Found guilty? By whom? An Obama DOJ? A Pelosi/Reid Congress? The mainstream Obamedia? Radio talkers and bloggers silenced by the new “Fairness” Doctrine?

No, there will be no investigations. Should be, of course, so an Obama administration’s first priority will be stopping them by any means necessary.

Ah, the magic of one-party rule.

Yep.

Anyone here remember the old game of "Four-Square" in elementary school? I don't know if it's played anymore, but it involved a square playing area divided into four sub-squares, one player in each. The basic object is to hit the ball to another square so that the person there can't react in time, thereby kicking that person out; then another person waiting in line steps in to take his or her place.

Naturally, we soon made up "teams" of four kids each, with names like the "Kangaroos" or the "Klingons," and the object was to get all four of us into all four squares. Then we'd play "patty-cake" with each other so that everyone else got to stand in line forever until recess ended.

What the donkeys are after is an adult political version of Four-Square: Hopenchange/Congress/Media/Courts.

They've got two squares already; they're on the verge of getting the third; and if they get that, then they'll focus on populating the courts with "friendly" judges to lock the fourth.

And if they get a monopoly?

1. ACORN fraud? Watch any investigation of that donkey front organization get stopped immediately, and for their federal funding to get tripled.

2. Abuse of institutional power to criminalize and destroy political opponents? Joe the Plumber's experience will become the rule for anyone who dares to question authority.

3. Massive labor union funding of the donkey party? Starting with "card-check," look for a concerted effort to forcibly unionize more sectors of the work force.

4. Biased media? A Hopenchange presidency will usher into existence a new, voluntary "state-controlled media" that will in combination with a "fairness" doctrine ensure that only "correct" information gets passed on to the electorate.

Those hoping that we can correct the disaster of a Hopenchange presidency and a donkey Congress are betting that by November of 2010 the donks won't have so corrupted the system of elections that we end up like Mexico, with a rigged one-party system that lasted for generations.

I'm not so sure that's a safe bet.
