Throw Aunti from the bus
Over the weekend, the Associated Press reported that Barack Obama’s beloved Aunti Zeituni Onyango — a Boston public housing resident — was an illegal alien deportation fugitive who was ordered to leave the country by an immigration judge four years ago. Despite her illegal absconder status, she not only obtained federal housing benefits, but also illegally contributed to Obama’s campaign. Obama denies knowing about her illegal status and has promised to return her donations.
And now, Obama has gone and completely thrown Aunti under the bus — joining Obama’s poor grandmother. Via 24ahead, Obama was asked by Katie Couric if he supported the deportation of Onyango:
If she is violating laws those laws have to be obeyed. We’re a nation of laws. Obviously that doesn’t lessen my concern for her, I haven’t been able to be in touch with her. But I’m a strong believer you have to obey the law.
If he were telling the truth, I’d applaud him — and the Left would condemn him as a jack-booted racist.
But he’s lying — and all his cultists knows it.
In 2006, Obama marched shoulder-to-shoulder with illegal alien shamnesty activists in Chicago.
He supports driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.
And he said this:
We are not going to send [illegal aliens] home …Mr. Obama said many illegals have “settled,” “bought property” and have children who are U.S. citizens. He said the country would have to devote “all our law enforcement resources to rounding up people without papers, even if they weren’t causing any trouble,” and once that’s done, the country would have to “empty out our jails.” …That would force police to ignore killers and carjackers and instead be “worried about the guy in the kitchen somewhere who’s working in a restaurant… Not all of ‘em are from Mexico,” because some are from Ireland, Poland or Nigeria. …”Imagine what that would look like, basically detaining, putting in jail 12 million people. We’re not going to do that…”
He’s a diehard opponent of deportation — except if it embarrasses his campaign in the final hours before Election Day.
Obama politics as usual.
Lucky for Aunti, as I noted over the weekend, the open-borders Bush administration and skittish McCain campaign aren’t going to do anything about his duplicity.
Cowardice plus rank opportunism times political correctness = a lasting recipe for immigration chaos.

Obama consistently lies and throws people under the bus when the facts, his words, or his associations, get in the way of what is really important to him: his ambitions.
All the nice people that think Obama cares about them should look at how he treats his family, friends and “associates.”
And yes, you can deport 12 million or more illegals.

Let’s recall that this is not the first time Barack Obama has thrown a relative under the bus. In his famous speech on race in Philadelphia, Obama likened his 85 year old white grandmother to Reverend Wright.He even said his grandmother made her own racist comments that were similar to what Wright had said. Obama could not give us any specifics because there were none. His grandmother obviously never said anything remotely comparable to the filth spewing from Jeremiah Wright. But nobody in the MSM ever asked Obama: “Give us the specifics of what your grandmother said about Black people that so upset you”. Instead, Chris Matthews said every student in American should study the speech. Charlie Gibson called the speech one of the most important speeches ever given. Gibson called it “estraordinary”. Katie Couric fought back the tears when she talked about “The Speech”.

And, Pres Bush has not done well on the subject either. Heck, our rules, laws and regulations are pretty weak, too. Giving illegals court orders to return for a hearing? Please. Individual members of Congress can place an anonymous hold keeping an individual immigrant from being deported. Please.
Yeah, Sen Obama appears to be duplicitous, but it really is our system and making it work properly that is the real issue.

If this is a correct number of illegals here, which I don’t believe for a second; then how on earth are there 5 million bad mortgages to Illegals? Almost half of all illegals own a house? What an honorable person would have done was hire A lawyer years ago to help out his aunt BEFORE she became illegal. Obama didn’t do that.

Incorrect. Overstaying your visa even for one day means immediate deportation and inability to return to the US for 10 year.

If these laws were routinely enforced she would not have ignored it. They are not enforced, so like most illegals, she knows it’s a sham so …. Even if ordered out she could have appealed and Obama could have been there for the appeal process.

Just so you know, I do not care whose relative she is, based on what the Feds have not done to date, I think I would “reset the process clock,” not change her status yet, and cut the lady some slack.
The exception would be if she fraudulently obtained a Social Security card and was using it. That is a felony and should be pursued vigorously.
Listen, I am a legal immigrant who did everything right and got my citizenship by the book. If I can do it, there is no damn reason in the world Obama couldn’t have helped his aunt do it. I’m wondering if the latter means Obama will not order the deportation of criminal aliens (spare me the lecture on all illegals being criminals; you know what I’m talking about). As he is against “long prison sentences,” I suspect Obama would pardon more than all previous Presidents combined, including Weatherman/police murderer David Gilbert.
What is increasingly disturbing to me and it relates to his discussion on coal, immigration, any policy he communicates. He does so in such a way that it is as though he has sole ownership of this country and he will dictate policy and his actions back this up. The closer he gets to realizing his dream of the presidency, the more rigid and arrogant he becomes in presenting to America his goals for her.
Let’s be perfectly honest here… Obozo told some anecdotal stories about his Aunt in his book because it made him look sympathetic to his target readers. He doesn’t give a damn about her, or his brother, or YOU!!!! He is all political power, and he will hitch his wagon to ANY horse to reach his goal. Make no mistake here… he has the means to help his aunt, and he never once lifted a finger, EVER. He doesn’t need her, and he couldn’t care less about her.

If Obama wins, I guess someone needs to compile a list of the campaign promises and outlandish statements he’s made. A sort of “I told you so” to present to the liberals when they start pointing fingers at the conservatives in order to place blame. I gurantee you, they will do just that when many of the ideas they support go south.
We will need a running total of Obama’s
(1)Promises fulfilled
(2)Promises ignored
(3)Outright lies that are shown to be just that
(4)issues that end up 180 degree from his stated promises

I think I mentioned on the other thread, that only Obama could possibly get away with all of this. Only he could claim to care so much about the “Middle Class” and all those poor people sleeping in the streets. So many, by the sound of his speeches, that it is a wonder that we are not tripping over them when we walk, yet he has so many of his very own family members…including his favorite aunt, who live so far below the poverty line as to redefine what poverty is.
If that is the way he treats his own family, not to mention the way he treats his friends, spiritual advisers, people he claims to be closer than family, etc., etc., etc., then why are so many people putting so much of their hopes and dreams into the thought that he will take such good care of them, let alone this country?
Hell, he already has thrown the military under the bus, the Constitution under the bus…in fact, he already threw the COUNTRY under the bus. What else is there? No thnaks. With friends and family members like him, who needs Islam?

I noticed Obama made a comment about prop 8, some of the news sources have prop 8 evenly devided 48% to 48%. Could Obama be a little worried that California will not be a blowout? He said he is not for gay marriage but says no on 8. Nice non-answer there. The polls are lies, Obama camp is worried, I think we are going to keep this guy out of office.

The support of marriage being between a man and a woman in this state, California, has already gone before the population in an election, and almost three quarters of this state was AGAINST same-sex marriage.
But that was not good enough for the rabble-rousers. See, as far as Liberals are concerned, they are all about screaming of their imaginary lost rights, about how elections are stolen, about how the people are kept from having their voices heard etc., yet in California, when the Liberals lose an election of a Proposition which they disagree with, rather than allowing the people to have their say, they instead turn to the courts and have it legislated against.
THis happened with Prop. 187, which won by a HUGE margin, and it will happen with Prop. 8
Prop.8 will win, regardless of the truthlessness of the campaign against it, but it will not matter. Before the election results have been certified, they will have their army of lawyers descend upon the courts here and have injunction after injunction placed on it, forcing the Uber-Left ideals upon the populace, regardless of what happens in the election.
As it is, anyone with “Yes on *” signs in their yards end up having them stolen, and at the stands placed at the local WalMart, the people supplying “Yes on *” and “McCain/Palin” paraphanalia are assaulted repeatedly by Democrat and Liberal thugs, to the point that the local police have been called out repeatedly to remove said offenders.
This is their view of a “Democracy”. If it is their cause, you better vote for it. If it is not, no matter, they will win in the courts and flip the bird to the people.
