A fellow crocheter! I knew I liked you, Michelle! :)

And here I always thought it was spelled "pearl." More like wink 1, hurl 2.

How long did it take to make that? Many, many hours of hate, it looks like. She must be a barrel o' laughs at parties. Sorry, lady, that's messed up.

I don't know what it is about fiber arts that attracts loons. Quilt artists are mostly moonbats, too. Someone tried to put together an exhibit of election-themed quilts for the recent International Quilt Festival in Houston, and while they tried to make it bipartisan, there were only Obama quilts. Art quilt exhibits are also heavy on the "social justice" and "anti-war" crap, too (the 2004 and 2006 IQF had several Bush-bashing quilts; "racial justice" is a popular theme, too).

I think there might be one or two conservative quilt artists, but their work is not political (landscapes, color studies).

(One of my favorite quilters--I took a class with her in October 2004--went cat-poop crazy with BDS after Kerry lost; the quality of her work has really gone downhill. It saddens me.)

As BHO's political success makes obvious, there are a lot of unhealthy people out there, wallowing in emotional disorders that manifest themselves in strange political forms. Some have taken the radical step of engaging in revolutionary knitting. It'...

I'm living proof that one can be conservative and a knitter, but I've wondered what it is that attracts liberals too, as I've run across some rather "progressive" and downright trashy comments on knitting blogs. Hadn't seen this one before, though.

Michelle,

We all know that being a crocheter means you're also a racist, assimilating, bitter wannabe who secretly wants to cross stich when no one else is looking.

Your secret is out, Madam Hostess! HA!

LOL....my grandmother knits and crochets...is that like she's reaching across the aisle to unite people? ;)
