Obama’s civilian security force: Billy club-wielding security guards at Philly polls
Here’s the vid of billy club-wielding “security” guards at the 1221 Fairmount Ave. polling place in Philly from Election Journal. Just as I suspected, these guys look like NBPP from the emblem on one of the “guard’s” jackets.
Maybe this is what Barack Obama was talking about when he proposed a Civilian Security Force.
Poll watcher to guard: “I think it might be a little intimidating that you have a stick in your hand.”

Agreed. I enjoy history. Starting with the Civil War that is basically how the U.S. has won everyone of it’s major wars. You do not have to destroy the enemy’s forces, if you destroy his logistics. Sherman, the US Pacific submarine force in WWII, and Curtis Lemay are good examples.

I told him it is a very unfortunate time in our history and regardless of who wins this election, there will be a level of discontentment not seen in modern times. I told him, it began with Bush’s terms as President, and that, regardless of what people thought of the man, the lack of respect for the office has caused great damage to this country and that disrepect will now intesify. It is truly a sad time, but everything passes.

How Presidents have been treated, especially President Bush is disgraceful. I despised President Clinton, but he was The President.
I have no time for Barrack Obama and McCain is no rose, but whoever the majority of Americans legitimately elect, majority rules, and he is MY President. He is our President.

Watching this video brings, immediately to mind, Obama’s call for a domestic armed force, funded as much as the military with as much authority. I can only guess who those “domestic” enforcers may be. Brownshirts come to mind.
The real sad part of all of this is that these guys think they are acting on behalf of the “government,” now. Obama is playing a very dangerous game. His inexperience aside, this kind of behavior is not seen by the “tolerant” as anything other than thuggery. Not only will honest citizens revolt against this, so will many in the military and the standing police. Obama better reign this attitude in, and fast.
Obama has no clue what he’s dealing with. It all sounds good in a reefer filled room on some campus, but, in the real world, it’s very sober and very, very serious.
My husband and I voted absentee (military) for McCain a week or so ago. I don’t think our votes will make very little difference in the state of New York. I at least hope they’ll be counted.
