I will never understand how members of the MSM can live with themselves, allowing Obama’s relationship with this man – not to mention Wright – to go unchallenged, yet report as gospel every vile innuendo and half-truth Obama and the Democrats can hurl against President McCain and Republicans of every stripe. Also, it appears to me that the meltdown didn’t occur until after the Dems ascended to their fabulously popular (approval barely out of single digits) majority. What was it Barney Frank et. al. said in response to the attempts to regulate Fannie & Freddie? Something along the lines of “there is no crisis” or “they’re very sound”?
So, what particular “Bush” policies failed in respect of the financial meltdown? Unless you’re referring to the failure to pass their legislation to avert the disaster. But then that was voted down by the Marxocrats.

What party were Senators Obama and Dodd, chief recipients of Fannie and Freddie donations/bribes?
Speaking of a bad economy, Obama, in his own words, promises to make elctric bills “skyrocket”. Ignoring his plans to tax businesses into the ground, how will that help the economy? How will that help the working poor?
That is what I suspect. Obama is the Weather Underground’s “Manchurian Candidate”.
Best case, Obama doesn’t actually hate America like his pastor, and his WU buds, and Edward Said and Rashid Khalidi, and is ashamed of America like his wife was.

I wonder how Ayers would respond if someone chose to bomb UIC or Northwestern (where is wife works). I’m not advocating this, but I cannot understand how he can be so callous about killing innocent people. Would he feel the same way if his children were killed by a bomb because someone disagreed with their political opinions? Would Obambi be pals with someone who bombed MLK’s church 40 years ago? I doubt it. I’m sure he would have worked up the political courage to distance himself from someone like that. It is just mind-boggling that someone like Obambi could be a serious candidate. I think he hates the US as much as Ayers, Wright, and Plfager do. He just wants the resources so that he can distribute them to this thug/terrorist pals.

Bill Ayers is a coward who quit the bombing aspect of his plan to overthrow the American government when three of his comrades blew themselves up. He was never tried for his crimes because his father was a muckitymuck in Chicago and was able to get the evidence against him thrown out.
But, he never gave up his terrorist idealism, realizing that the way to change America was through her children’s education. The university system is perfect for him and the fact that he is so highly thought of there is the best indication of how bad higher education has become.
This method of indoctrination of the young is also the preferred method of other terrorists, the Islamic kind. The only difference is they brainwash their kids to hate the infidel and not their own country.
After Bill finished voting, he walked outside, pulled an American Flag from his fanny pack, threw it on the ground and, after dropping his pants, carefully performed a bowel movement on it while onlooking press representatives clapped and cheered him on. I voted in what really might be the last semi-free election in this country last week. Straight Republican ticket, but I didn’t select the ’straight Republican’ slate option, I wanted to cast a vote by each name.
I voted for our Texas Supreme Court justice. I guess the nine justices serve six year terms, and a third are elected every two years. He is the descendant of freed slaves. If Obama loses, the MSM will blame racism. ‘NewsWeak’s Alter already said so. I have no problem, and I suspect most people don’t, have a problem voting for a Black man (or woman) if they are best for the job.
One of the men running for the Texas SC is named ‘Sam Houston’. Good name. Trial lawyer (Democrat, obviously), has never served as a judge at any level. Also has a history of DWIs.
The Dem Senate candidate isn’t a bad guy, is in the National Guard (and made a huge deal about his two weeks of service during the Summer), but Cornyn is better than most, and I certainly don’t want the Dems to have the votes for cloture.
Anyway, at least I’ll have the small satisfaction when this country goes to hell in a handbasket that I am not responsible.
And I give McCain a 20% chance of pulling the upset, holding all the Bush 2004 battleground states, or losing no more than one and capturing Pennsylvania, so I am a glass one fifth full kind of optimist.

If you’ve ever read Robert Anson Heinlein (1908-1988, Dean of Science Fiction), 2012 marked the beginning of his “future history’s” Interregnum period following the rise of prophet Nehemiah Scudder.
