So much for “AmeriKKKa”
If we live in such a racist country, as the friends and fellow travelers of Barack Obama have argued vehemently throughout this campaign season, how did AmeriKKKa end up electing The One?
President-elect Obama’s first order of business should be to issue a blanket apology to all the voters he and his minions derided as hopelessly bitter, clingy rednecks and inveterate racists.
Let us not forget what Obama said about the citizens of Pennsylvania and Ohio – both of which ended up in the Obama column last night. “You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them,” Obama told well-heeled donors in San Francisco. “And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
Let us not forget the nasty cries of RAAAAAAACISM from Democrat leaders Harry Reid and Barney Frank, New York governor David Paterson and Rep. Gregory Meeks. Let us not forget the whisper campaigns by the media about a nationwide Bradley Effect and the sliming of Sarah Palin and her rally audiences as unrepentant racial bigots.
According to exit polls, Obama not only nailed down his base of minority and women voters, but also took the male vote by a narrow margin. McCain held on to just over half of whites overall.
Obama won Indiana and North Carolina, where exit polls showed “he received the support of 37 per cent of white voters, a 10-point gain on the Democratic score of 2004.”
In Pennsylvania, elderly voters derided by Democrat Rep. John Murtha as rednecks split their vote evenly between Obama and John McCain. ABC newswoman Diane Sawyer reached back centuries to try and explain the outcome in Ohio – telling her audience that white voters expressed their solidarity for a minority president because Harriet Beecher Stowe penned Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Brace for more treacly, racial wound-healing analysis from now until Inauguration Day.
In the end, a majority of Americans voted for Obama because they decided the gamble on an inexperienced change salesman was worth it – whatever his skin color and however thin that skin is. To some Obama supporters, however, we’re still a nation of hooded haters. Harvard professor Charles Ogletree – a leading candidate to head up Obama’s civil rights division of the Justice Department – argued that we’re still a racist nation because Obama “happens to be biracial.”
Damned if we did, damned if we didn’t. It’s going to be a long four years.
(This is adapted from a short web piece I did for the NYPost this morning.)

I’ve got the perfect way to pass some of that time: A reprise of all of Obama’s men of bad faith. These chickens will most certainly come to Obama’s home to roost…
4. Current Trinity pastor and N-word-spouting Ice Cube fan Otis “At war with the enemy” Moss, whom Obama refers to as a “wonderful young pastor:”
3. James Meeks.
“We don’t have slave masters. We got mayors. But they still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able, or to be educated.”
“You got some preachers that are house niggers. You got some elected officials that are house niggers. And rather than them trying to break this up, they gonna fight you to protect this white man.”
2. Embarrassment to the Catholic Church Michael “There’s a black man stealing my show!” Pfleger.
1. And the one and only Jeremiah “God damn America!” Wright, with thanks to the North Carolina GOP for defying the McCain camp and spreading the word:

Socialism comes in many colors
O’Bonzo goes to Washington
Sadly, Obama’s victory may actually be a blow to a colour-blind America… Because An Obama Presidency Would Mean 4 More Years of Playing the Race Card
They played against white guilt and won. It is sad that some people have so little self esteem they allow themselves to be cowed into action for something that happened before they were born.
Pathetic.
At least maybe now the whining will stop.
Yeah, right.
Looks like a lot of people can’t get to sleep tonight.
A little optimistic, aren’t you? They got away with stealing this election. With complete control of the government, and at least two SC justice appointments, there’s nothing at all to stop them from institutionalizing their control.
Damn it’s going to be a loooooooooooong four years and in three years “The One” will start the dog and pony show all over again to get re-elected. Now I need to get a bumper sticker that says “Don’t blame me, I voted McCain/Palin” for when all hell breaks loose.
I didn’t sleep much, that’s for sure. Of course, considering my moniker, that’s nothing unusual.
Am I concerned for our republic? Absolutely. But instead of wringing our hands, we need to start - immediately - planning and working on unseating B. Hussein Obama in four years, and getting more principled conservatives in Congress.
I think the majority didn’t vote for Obama, as much as they voted “against” Bush. The news this morning is all about race and the election. At least the republicans still can filibuster in the Senate…if that’s any consolation.
Racism won last night. As a nation, we judged him on his skin color and not the content of his character. Hopefully we’ll learn to look deeper in the next 4 years.
At least, out in California, they won’t have the “George W. Bush” sewage plant. A small victory.
Don’t bet on it. The Republicans, as is fitting for the Stupid Party, will draw all the wrong conclusions from this fiasco and move even farther to the left. Schumer said a couple of days ago that they only needed to control about 57 seats, because they could always get 3 Republicans to vote with them. He’s right, of course.
I think the new voters only knew how to vote a straight Democratic ticket. I can’t think of another reason for Paul Kanjorski to win here in Pa. And at least one local polling place, a poll worker was leaning over and “helping” some voters.
TEOTUSAAWKI
Crap, crap, crap, crap. Personally, I tale solace that this election mirriors Ford vs Carter and that the vote was not a repudiation of the candidate, but rather an blind emotional attempt to ‘get back’; in Ford’s case that he pardoned Nixon, and for McCain, that voters could not do anything to Bush, so…..
I really don;t want to look at the news, but the the Democrats get a supermajority?
Last, while Obama is basking in the moment, governing will be an entirely different matter.
I see Utube has removed the Moss video. The age of tyrannical socialist Obama censorship has officially begun. It sure didn’t take them long to apply their Orwellian rules. Be very afraid. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
The Sheep have been led to Slaughter
This election was bought and paid for by foreign money and corrupted by fraud, lies and intimadation, and the fact that the liberal media never vetted this Marxist This is going to be a most troubling and difficult time for our nation one from which we may never recover. Those of us who believe in free speech and freedom will see that speech and freedom curtailed and our ability to shape the policies of this country severely limited.
With the advent of the new civilan national security force (ie. Black Panther troops) using storm trooper tactics, the gutting of our military, the “fairness” doctrine
instituted (which was equated to pornography as Schumer suggested), our courts (the SC and federal benches) packed by revisionists judges, the Constitution dismantled, our borders thrown open to illegals, companies driven out of business by more exteme legislation (taxes , enviromentalism) the probability of this nation recovering is pretty slim. It will take a grassroots concerted effort to reeducate the masses for the people have been so blinded to the truth of this man. Efforts must begin today to fight back, find a messenger and a message to combat what is surely to come. May God have mercy on this Union, the United States of America.
Although I am disappointed in the outcome, I am heartened that we Americans are hardy enough to weather any storm.
If this election really isn’t about race, like some would say, then why is it that a vast majority of African-Americans voted for Obama? I asked someone why they were voting for Obama, the simple message was, that he was black…not that he’d done anything…
It will be an “Interesting” time to say the least. If Obama has the opportunity to appoint any suppreme court justices, anybody want to place odds on names yet? I’d put Ayres at the top of his list, but who knows what the future holds….
For those of you that lived through the Carter years hang on to your hat it will back on steroids. Back then military funding was so tight we used to joke about it by saying “we can do almost anything with nothing.” Here it is the beginning of fiscal year 2009 and I can hardly wait to see how I will be able to fund mission essential requirements in fiscal year 2010 for my Squadron with 25% less budget should Bawney Fwank get his way. My biggest fear is this arrogant amateur is going to get a lot of good men and women in uniform killed due to his incompetence and arrogance.
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒE (mo-lone lah-veh) Translation: Come and take them!
Looks like the woman in the photo got her wish.
The DNC is the new KKK, and Hussein is the Grand Wizard.
It’s that simple. Now the race wars really begin.
I wonder if, in 4 years, we’ll be debating whether Jeremiah Wright was being polemic or prophetic when he screamed God D**n America.
I’ll bet, however, he never thought God would do it with Hussein Obama.
This is precisely why your side lost the election. You are way too caught up in crap that does not matter.
Hello!!!! All hell has ALREADY broken loose under Bush!!!!!!! Sheeesh. Get your head out of the sand!
since when does talking down to the people of your nation, and treating them as second rate citizens, or attempting to belittle those you now lead, get seen as being unimportant? If you went to work and your boss went on a tirade about you like this, would you want to work for him?
Of course not.
While there’s a certain amount of hell that has broken loose under Bush…i dont disagree…but thinking that things will be better under Obama is naive at best.
I’m constantly reminded of a quote from a movie, the latest batman, from Scarecrow:
“I told you it would take you places. I never said they were places you wanted to go.”
When i think about what Obama is going to do…THAT is what comes to mind first. He’s calling for change. but is it the change we want? Based on re-electing all of the corrupt democrats your party has in there now…it may very well be that you *deserve* the change he’s bringing.
I watched his speech live last night. His mantra about working harder, and how we all needed to pitch in and do more for each other…guess what? Work harder with what? jobs are evaporating, and people are out of work. Work harder doing what, volunteering for Obama’s design for America for free? Work harder for those he wants to help that are illegal aliens? Work harder for those not willing to work for themselves? Work harder for those who shirk their responsibility for their homes and walk away from the payments, causing the crisis we’re in now (which is greed on the part of the lenders, and living a lifestyle their paycheck cant cash on the part of those who got the loans)???
I’m not foolish by any means. I might not be the brightest light on the tree, but…the type of liberalism and socialism Obama calls for fails everywhere it’s ever been? If you believe he’s going to get it right where others have so flatly failed, then perhaps it IS change you need, and deserve.
Then, maybe just a little, you’ll see why people like myself oppose folks like you. the world you represent, and the ideals you wish to push, are not the ones i would have my children grow up in. I teach them the value of hard work. Of moral, personal, and financial independance. Of towing the line and having the PRIDE not to accept a handout…but to work hard, strive forward, and use the talents they have to make their lives better, WITHOUT relying on someone else to “change” things.
And i’ll continue opposing things that your party represents as long as that’s the case.
There will be Senate and House races in 2010. We need to begin supporting good conservative candidates not just where we live but, other states and districts also.If the economy goes south with higher taxes and unemployment and if nothing is done about energy situation, namely all the above. Or the Middle East erupts into full scale conflicts. We need to be ready with candidates that have answers not just bumper stickers. I know there were lots of reasons for us to be mad at congress in the 06′ election but, to many of us stayed home or voted cross party and the leadership in the Senate and the House went to the liberals. Leadership in congress matters because all of the committee chairmanships go to the majority party. You could make a good case that we would not be where we are today had we been able to hold the majority even by a slim margin. This has never been lost on the Democrats who seem to work together better than Republicans and/or Conservatives.
Let’s wash our faces this morning and get ready to fight on. Lots of angry venting and gloating will be going on for a good while. That’s OK.
My old football coach woulds say,”when you compete in anything there is no substitute for winning. It’s more fun. But, when you lose, you learn a lot more. And the first thing you learn is to get back up. Never, never, stay down. You stand up for your faith, your family your country and never, never lay down and quit”. Never.
When the economy turns ugly and starts hurting black people more than anyone else they’ll just switch tunes and start calling BHO half white.
Obama haas won. It’s time to retire the race card and never play it again. I wonder what will be the fallout from rewarding all the bad behavior connected to the election. What will the media do now that they were part of Obama’s sucess? How much can Obama even deliver to his supporters? When he disappoints them, what then? I haven’t seen one elected POTUS actually deliver on original campaign promises.
Yeah we are in for a rough next four years….at least this election is finally over.
Hell? Victory in Iraq? No terrorist attacks on our soverign territory in 7 years? Almost 8 years of LOW unenployment, LOW inflation and LOW interest rates? Steady growth of GDP for almost his entire term? Tried to STOP the bleeding at Fannie Mae back in 2003 that would PREVENTED this sub prime mess? Successful military research to counter China’s adventures into space based weaponry?
What ‘Hell’? You obviously weren’t here when Carter was in the WH were you?
BHO’s BIGGEST challenge now is to invent a a good reason why affirmative action must continue.
Come on Obama! PUHLEEEZE promise to immediately start busing disadvantaged inner-city children to the schools of the rich white suburbs that voted you into office.
The ignorance of of over half the American people is staggering!
For the first time in my life, I am not very proud of my country.
“From this fever swamp rose a Beast, one that played on man’s yearning for a utopian solution to its abject misery, a quasi-religious criminal taking the form of a political messiah. The Beast embodied Nietzsche’s ‘will to power’, stopping at nothing to achieve its ends. It fed off mankind’s dark side: his fears, his prejudices, his ancient hatreds, reaching out, first to convert, then turning in to destroy. That was the nature of the Beast… The Beast had always hated the same things: religion, a free press, intellectual inquiry, artistic expression, anything that elevated or empowered the individual. And yet all who called out the Beast, naming it for what it really was, were vilified, considered reactionary, paranoid, warmongers.”
-Excerpt taken from “In the Face of Evil”
Boomer: My biggest fear is this arrogant amateur is going to get a lot of good men and women in uniform killed due to his incompetence and arrogance.
Your fears are not very ambitious.
My fears can imagine a heckuva lot worse than that.
Say it again!
I went out last night and inverted the flag of the former United States. I’ll leave it that way the remainder of the day and then probably switch it out with the Gadsden flag for the remainder of Hussein’s election.
I have a feeling that the left may suddenly be compelled to be patriotic for a short period and label us conservatives as the unpatriotic.
election… oops… I guess I’m in denial…
I don’t ever want to hear/read anyone use the phrase “white privilege” ever again. It simply doesn’t exist in the 21st century.
Election day prediction: To repay Soros’ hundreds of millions, Obama’s going to work hard to find a way to lose in Iraq.
It’s so easy to find hating, racist blacks. Now why is that? Are these racist pigs like Jackson, Wright and Wright’s followers, including Michelle Obama and her husband, just pissed because they’re still waiting for their reparation check? Cause ya know… they personally were slaves and want cash for their pain.
Yep, Danceswithdachshunds, that explains Bush’ abysmal rating, that explains why hardly any republican wants to have anything to do with Bush, why Bush never campaigned for McCain. Yes, and all those supposed achievements you outline, your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will be paying for. Yep, great achievements. Bull crap!
Oh, and one more thing. You assume way too much to assume I am pro Obama. I’m not; I don’t believe in socialism. What I am saying, is that Bush and gang blew it and THAT is largely responsible for the election results today.
I actually have free time, so i’ll be here all day lol.
It saddens me when i read here that people are giving up, or that they’re all panicked.
This is not the time for panic, or to lose heart. It is a time to steel yourself, to reaffirm the values and the principles you have, and be prepared to fight tooth and nail to prevent them from being eroded away to nothing. Those who are against you are not gods. They are not invincible. They are not over you in some way, or better than you, unless you LET them hold that post.
TODAY is the day for you to commit yourself to strength, and not weakness. TODAY is the day to commit yourself to being resolute, and not shrink away in fear. TODAY is the day for you to commit yourself to rising above, and not falling to the wayside.
Today is the day you stand. You pick yourself up. You brush the dirt off, and you soldier onward. Stand and fight the good fight. That means challenging their ideology. Challenging the changes they bring you dislike. By being an EXAMPLE of what you believe, and not just SAYING you are a Conservative.
Or…you can act irrational and stockpile guns and food. You can hide, like a frightened child. You can whimper away when the night comes, and pray for the daylight to break over the horizon. You can panic and give your opponents a reason to mock and doubt you.
You can do those things…in which case I have no need for you. I want people who hold my ideals and who arent afraid of being heard. Not those who would say “Farewell” when the road darkens, courtesy of Tolkien.
Now…who wants to whine about this, and who wants to start looking forward for solutions and change that conservatives can actually believe in?
Apples and Oranges, my friend. Are you saying that he does not deserve credit for the things listed he did right? Again, i’m not a huge bush supporter, but i DO believe in giving credit where its due.
When you make a list of failures you believe bush has under his belt, the list provided here would not be the things that come forward. it would be the rest of the crap he’s done. I would simply point out the distinction, and place credit and blame where it belongs.
232 years… Thats how many yrs. The United States of America has been a Nation. Many wars, Many dead,Brave Soldiers have fallen. To keep America the free nation our Forefathers ENVISIONED. I sat and wondered what they thought… What they could see for OUR future.
232 years to build the GREATEST Nation on Gods Green Earth… And only ONE day, to piss it all away.
God DID NOT damn America, WE DID!
Race Card? Class envy? Lazy SOBs? This IS the time for recriminations. For the entire election cycle the RINOs let the Leftist use both the race card and class envy without hitting back. John McCain chose to “be above such things” and saddled us with this Leftist Race Baiter.
Not once did our Country Club, Get Along Go Along elites use Pfleger’s screed, Jeremiah Wright’s or even Obama’s own book “Dream’s From My Father”. These weaklings let their own fears and interests drag us down to the pit.
Not one more dime, phone call or yard sign for a damn RINO.

That Every Man Be Armed–You Too ladies
Another prediction:
Gas prices 2011: $12/gal
Electricity prices: $4/KwH
Bright side: The electricity won’t be on very much, so you won’t run up a big bill.
Tranceman,,, even as unpopular as Bush was similar to Lincolon, and Truman as they leave office, he has not dealt with the media. I fear that Obama will try to censor any media that is critical of him. I believe is lot more thin skinned then GWB and BO’s cohorts will try and control the whole media to his favor. The first amendment will go even before the second one I fear.
AZ… I HEAR YA!!!!!!!!!!
State Senator Stan Adelestien (a rino) won last night… HE BEAT the guy HE ENDORSED LAST ELECTION! A DEMOCRAT!
He’s just giving us what we want…socialism…decline…decay. He’s a big believer in reaping what you sow…
America should enjoy the liberal utopia…like detroit!!
There is racism in America. People over a certain not very old age remember segregation. Obama won in part because he tried to bury the old memories rather than run on them.
McCain got 6% of the African American vote (maybe 30% are Republican) because of the semi explicit racism in the campaign — Reverend Wright.
McCain lost because he sank to the level of the Republican party, which was far beneath him. This was so clear in his concession speech last night. Republicans boo-ed his most gracious lines.
If there is so much racism here then where is it taking place? Where is all the KKK business taking place? Why do so many people of color want to move here in racist USA? Is it possible other nations are racist. I would bet the farm here that most liberal whites live in lilly white neighborhoods. This is the practice here in this Native American Reservation. The white libs live in their gated communities.
I want chocolate microscopes!
White Americans jumped on the bandwagon of putting down white groups. Kids in school can have Mexican clubs, Black clubs, Asian clubs, Gay clubs, but heaven forbid a WHITE club or you are racist.
We did it to ourselves; we just laid down and let them walk all over us.
White people are now indoctrinated with rap and movies and the MSM to the point that they think white is evil and black is cool…
The country is swirling around the bowl of the toilet and will soon be flushed.
We got what we deserved…
not bad lgm…credit for a decent post.
But was it not the Reverend Wright who was spouting out racist and hateful comments? How can a man who believes in Wright, and followed him for 20 years no less, magically go the other direction?
There will always be racism, somewhere, and in some form. It’s human nature. I dont believe i’m racist in any form..i have a child with someone who isnt from my race, so…i would think that counts for something? But I still have this nagging feeling that black people, in some form, didnt vote for McCain because of his color. As much as i try to be rational and logical about it, i draw the same conclusion each time.
Perhaps i’m wrong. but the numbers don’t lie. And i dont really think mccain ran a racist campaign, by most accounts.
On November 5th, 2008 at 9:19 am, lgm said:
It’s ironic that you of all people should mention segregation when you’ve made post after post touting the superior intellect of liberals and commenting, in a Machiavellian-like manner, that America should be governed (read: ruled) only by its intelligentsia elite!
Trading in equivocation for hypocrisy, are we?
There is quite a bit we all (McCain and Obama supporters) have to get out of our systems.
There will be exuberance on the behalf of some, and dejection on the part of others. Everyone go ahead and vent, scream, and rant. Positively and negatively. Remember, forget, whatever. Embrace your happiness or sadness.
We have work to do.
I’m sorry I didn’t read the entire post…but the “AmeriKKKA” stuff won’t go away. It’ll be used to beat down anyone that doesn’t go along with “the way things are going to be.”
welcome to the USSA….grease your loins and protect your back….
Rambler, now it will be played everytime one of Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s bills gets voted down.
Yes, there is lgm. It’s Jeremiah Wright screaming about “US of KKK A”. It’s him screaming that white men created AIDS to kill black people.
But, they can get away with it.
I have a Ruger Mini-14. I already have all the standard-capacity magazines I need.
Pretty good lgm, but you are still a fool.
Most of us reject McCain because he tries to be too much like you and your ilk. We want a conservative, not progressive government.
They’re still out there. They voted for McKain. Obama only won the urban and suburban areas of PA. The rest of Pensyl-TUCKY went for the GOP.
ALL RACE CARDS VOID AFTER JANUARY 19, 2009
How nice to have a president and his wife of this country who hate it.Now the march is on.First it will be to shut up talk radio, next the wholesale slaughter of the unborn and then he will take everything away from us due to the global warming hoax.I guess that’s what we deserve. After 40 years of public school indoctrination what do we expect?
I also have to say McCain deserved to lose.He ran the worst campaign in history. It seemed he only had zeal when it came to sticking it to Republicans and conservatives. He was too busy kissing up,so as he said today he can help Obama, gag! I’m sure Obama will show him the finger again.
It’s not over. They will continue to try to paint he non-supporters of obama as racist.
I also wouldn’t be surprised to see any failures of the Obama administration blamed on people not giving a black president a break.
Because the left was always uniting behind President Bush, giving him all kinds of breaks. I remember that. Not.
It’s already started: Senator Mitch McConnell - the GOP’s main point-man in opposing President Obama-pelosi-reid in the Senate - was just last night labeled a wealthy, middle-aged white guy from a pro-McCain state.
Yes Mr. Lincoln, they all died in vain? The Union may have been worth preserving once. November 5th, 2008 we need an alternative. I have nothing in common with an Obaminite/Marxist/Race Baiter and do not wish to try.
Old Glory has been retired.

That Every Man Be Armed–You Too ladies
Patrick Henry quote - The great object is, that every man be armed. Every one who is able may have a gun.
My list of things to worry about is longer and longer.
Back to the drawing board…
And, so much for the Republican move to the middle…DoAOH! Better we go back to the right, IMO.
Thank you all for playing; we have some lovely consolation prizes for you.
(BTW, I’m sure our new socialist overlord will appreciate that I make no profit - all sales are at my cost!)
The only way Obama won was because he outspent McCain 8 to 1, if not more, and the media gave him a free ride.
That honeymoon period will end sooner rather than later. Just you wait.
You don’t think people are going to put up with high gas and energy prices, rising taxes and shrinking jobs, and a sickly stock market? What are you, racist or something? Come on, just think of all that fairness, hope and change we’ll be able to feed our families with. Off to the re-education camps with you!
Take A Look at this Cartoon..what will the Obama trolls do now?
http://sarah-palin-2008.blogspot.com/2008/11/how-can-we-alleviate-some-of-damage.html
With the election of Obama, can we finally put aside the “blame whitey” game that’s been played by so-called civil rights leaders? For the first time in our history, a black man has been elected to the highest office in the land. That is proof positive the playing field is level and has been for some time. Nothing more is “owed”, our country has achieved equality.
I think its also worth noting that unlike following the Gore and Kerry defeats, you didn’t see McCain out there wining about how the election was stolen and how unfair it all was even though we had ACORN and the Black Panthers out there doing Obama’s dirty work. Compared to the Democrats, McCain is a class act.
Tens of millions of white folks means NOTHING in any of this, because tens of millions of white folks didn’t. There are still free-thinking, free-standing people who will not bow at the feet of the state (Obama), and as long as there are ANY people who oppose “the ONE,” then NOTHING has changed in their minds. If Obama had gotten 99.9% of the total vote, there is still a problem because of the 0.1%.
Soledad O’Brien last night stating that “Minorities are the majority now” not “Joe the Plumber” (with a sneer). I apologize. I said it wasn’t about race and it was.
Soledad - stupid - they are minorities or not, not both.
Get ready crackers, the show begins shortly…
hey lgm, john mccain is too classy to give barrack the finger, so let me just say f**k that a*****e.
cheapseat said (#84):
Like I said . . . classy.
Personally with the choices we had in the GOP we deserved to lose. Now I can’t wait for the return of the DEM house, DEM Senate and DEM President - last time we had it was Jimmy Carter.
You remember Jimmy Carter don’t you - double digit inflation, doulbe digit unemployment, double digit prime rate. Yeah, that’s the guy. Just wait for the price of gas next year. And lets not forget about coal, espcially here in South Texas where the power plants are powered by coal. Can’t wait to see my bill next year during the summer. woo-hoo! It’s going to be funny when all those coal miners in PA and OH that voted for their messiah are out of work!
Don’t worry about it. Power’s going to be 200% more expensive, but it will be out 75% of the time, so you’ll be ahead. After all, we can’t just have our thermostats at 72 and expect other countries to just say “OK”, you know?
My my, for such steely, thick-skinned conservatives, you guys sure are a bunch of wound-licking crybabies.
So
“some Obama supporters”strawmen called you racist… so what? Why do you care? You’ve spent the better part of the past 8 years calling people names, rather than, you know, addressing any actual issues. If you can dish it — and really, no one does it better than you — you should be able to take it. Your petulance just cost you an election, not to mention an entire generation of voters. Now get over it. There’s a seat for you at the big people’s table if you learn how to play nice.
Seems we still have the same problem. Too many see the election process the same as they would some sporting event. The “best” team won, so the losers must be magnanimous and accept defeat with honor. I call BS on that. This is NOT a game. And for those that view the other side as no more than an opponent in a game, then please stay out of the way while those with a
He won’t say sorry, he played the race card and region card to get office he will do so while in it. A deadly game that can have dire results.
I spent all four years of the Carter administration on active duty in the Army as a non-com and commissioned officer. I remember President Carter explaining why we weren’t getting pay raises when everyone else in the whole country was. We were “holding the line against inflation.” He tried that crap on the DOD civilians, and it lasted just long enough for the union to scream. Turned out that, as usual, the military members were the only ones “holding the line.”
Barney Frank is still pissed that the military isn’t “homosexual-friendly. Anything he can do to hurt the military will be worth it to him.
I remember our company commander at Fort Knox briefing us on the murders of Captain Bonifas and Lieutenant Barrett at the hands of North Korean troops at Panmunjon and the subsequent Operation Paul Bunyan in August of 1976. I remember the abortive rescue of the embassy hostages in Iran when President Carter refused to let trained specialists conduct the mission with the proper planning and equipment. This bungle cost us several aircraft and a number of aircrew and Marines.
To say I have my doubts about the ability of President-elect Senator Obama and Vice-President-elect Senator “Lyin’ Joe” Biden to handle such situations would be an understatement.

In response to the picture posted with this blog post I only have to say this, “On November 4th, 2008 you got your wish.”
I know I’ll probably take some heat for this but is there any doubt at all the only reason some people voted for him was because he’s black. The people who voted for him for this reason alone pushed him over the top. If everyone had truly looked at his record and compared it to McCain Obama would have lost by a landslide.
I have no problem with a Black President I just wish it was one who actually knows how to do the job.
Until he threw his weight behind Obama I used to hope that Colin Powell would run someday. When Powell backed Obama I actually felt betrayed that a man with the experience he has in government would actually back someone with no real experience like Obama.
In the end it all comes down to a single saying. You get the government you deserve. I just hope Obama gets through the next four years without doing too much damage.
