The corruptocrats America deserves

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 5, 2008 07:12 AM

Corruptocrat/smear merchant John Murtha wins.

Corruptocrat/bribe freezer William “Cold Cash” Jefferson cruises to victory.

Corruptocrat/convicted criminal Sen. Ted Stevens is in a dead heat and may yet win re-election even as he faces up to five years in prison for seven counts of lying.

If this is the “Change” election, what the hell are these three most miserable miscreants still doing in Congress?

Could the transformational agents of change kindly explain?

And that goes for every single one of you that’s conservative.

I believe we have now reached critical mass in our march to 3rd world status. It will not happen overnight. It will be incremental over the next 30 years. Each election cycle brings with it millions of new voters from 3rd world countries due to mass immigration (legal and illegal). The vast majority will be poor and uneducated, which is a natural fit for the “gimme” democrat party. Their majorities will grow. We will see the same cancerous problems of 3rd world countries manifest here. Corruption at all levels of gov’t. Freedom of speech squelched. Can’t trust the police. Destruction of the middle class. Gang warfares over turf and $. Kidnapping. Armed gated communities. Loss of liberties and freedoms. And the new religion of divveristy and PC will be all encompassing.

    3. Our candidate was flawed from the beginning.
4.The possibility exists that the Republican brand is so damaged that it will go the way of the Whigs. I’m not sure if Conservatives can take it back.

IMO, the widespread voter fraud of this and other elections is proof that the Electoral College is needed now more than ever. There is no constitutional basis for the popular vote at the Presidential level, only for US Senator and US Representative.

There is a growing movement to connect a national popular vote with the Electoral College. Please see http://www.nationalpopularvote.com. According to the website, The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee a majority of the Electoral College to the presidential candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The bill would reform the Electoral College so that the electoral vote in the Electoral College reflects the choice of the nation’s voters for President of the United States. States would no longer be independent in the decisions of their electors. Passage of this bill in 37 state legislatures is needed to amend the US Constitution; 4 have signed this particular bill into law. 33 more are needed.

I think we who respect the US Constitution and its founders should oppose this bill and tell our state legislators to oppose this bill.

My point here is that we need to keep an eye on bills proposed in our state legislatures that would amend the US Constitution. We could find ourselves with a US Constitution that none of us recognize.

Whether or not you feel qualified to home school, I’m quite sure you are far more qualified in life than most of your daughters degreed teachers

That’s exactly the root of the problem, critical thinking is not emphasized in public schools. The dimwits who runs our public school system and the majority of the teachers are focused in brainwashing the students with their politicaly correct ideologies and liberal ideas and not on the 3 R’s and life skills.

Well stated post Patriot and I think I definitely concur. The one thing that never worried me is that Obama is a socialist. It is not that I was not worried about him being one, but about him being president and being one as if it is the first time ever and a total catastrophe.

Every democrat since the father of American socialism FDR was president has been a socialist, bringing into the fold hundreds of republicans along the way. Thus, having another is just one more in a long line of them, furthering our country into morale and economic decay.

George Bush effectively destroyed the republican party and while “conservatives” may once again reign, they will not be what you and I think of when we hear the term.

This is nothing new. I was in high school in the early ’70s, and it was the same thing then. Maybe my schools were particularly bad, but it did a lot of damage to me that took years to undo.

One thing I will say, though, is that there seems to be a direct relationship between the time parents invest in their kids and the kids’ resistance to wrong teaching. My wife and I took many hits to our desired standard of living so that we could invest our time and resources into our daughter. We know now that we made no mistake in doing so.

Same here. I threw away a LOT of cash on this election.

Sigh. That’s fine – but let MM know you’d like a PM system.

The site’s a business after all, and the owner needs to know if there is a desire from her customers for a certain product or not.

Also, I’m not sure why you wanted a PM system. I looked in the posts. Sorry if I’m asking a dumb question, but what’s the plan? Thanks.

I like to see Newt on TV, and like a lot about him, but I don’t think he’s all he’s cracked up to be. Nope, we need somebody different. Palin’s a big step in the right direction in my view: She’s candid, to the point, and from what I’ve seen, a leader and competent executive. More like her would be very, very good.

TThe GOP could save face by immediately filing suit against the dems for nominating this fraud as their candidate. If they refuse, to stand up for our constitution, they can go beg Barry for money for any future campaigns they may have!

Wordpress: I don’t know but wouldn’t be surprised… would make things easier to implement.

Plan: I think it is important for conservatives to start organizing and communicating. This is as good a place as any. But without having to throw out our emails in public comments.

There are a lot of great people here and we could start fixing this miserable GOP if the best and brightest started getting together.

We’ve relied for far too long on other people – RNC chairmen, PR flacks like Rove, etc.

    See earlier comment.

as far as a pm goes….its not hard to set it to request the user to approve a comment (think how they do it on myspace) or when someone sends you a message for the first time, you can allow or block the user immediately without having read the message.

Honestly, its not really hard to set up a message board or pm system online, for little, if any, cost.

Sorry to be a wet blanket to all you cheerleaders, but your efforts are worthless is we don’t reform the voting system. Do you think the dems are going to do anything about it in the next four years? It worked for them.

When talk of having a 50-state primary on one day was brought up last spring (after the debacle we went through with dems voting for McVain), the consensus was that it was already too late to get in place for the 2012 election!

My county went GOP, as usual, even though there was a “hive” right around the corner for Obummer. Even so, I heard stories all day of people who witnessed voter fraud firsthand. The felons laughed about how many times they voted, and illegals took utility bills and voted. Nobody cared or will care.

Sorry to say, but I think it’s going to take another terror attack to get the sheeple thinking again and out of la la land. They’ll want to save their own hides, and it’ll be obvious Obummer is going to fail to protect us. Their own comfort is all that matters to Obamunist voters.

I agree. There is a need I think for many here to communicate offline and organize.

Have you sent Michelle an email with the request? That way she can communicate with you offline.

I’m ok with any way it could be made possible. Even via another site. Michelle may need to separate her Blog from any specific group. Or there may be a number of reasons to make it physically separate, yet linked and introduced from here.

PMs work well for one on one conversations. But it group discussions are needed, a board is needed. I may be getting ahead of things, but something to think about.

In any event, I’m glad you brought it up and I would be happy to contribute in any way I can.
