The corruptocrats America deserves
Corruptocrat/smear merchant John Murtha wins.
Corruptocrat/bribe freezer William “Cold Cash” Jefferson cruises to victory.
Corruptocrat/convicted criminal Sen. Ted Stevens is in a dead heat and may yet win re-election even as he faces up to five years in prison for seven counts of lying.
If this is the “Change” election, what the hell are these three most miserable miscreants still doing in Congress?
Could the transformational agents of change kindly explain?

Obama is already warning his promises will take time.I wonder how long it will be before all these kool aid drinkers will become disolusioned with him when he doesn’t fill up their gas tanks and pay for their mortgages? Just wait until he really gets tested then we’re in for it.Did you ever see the skit on SNL with him calling Hillary at 3am and telling her how scared he was because there was a crisis? The Obama Axelrod has created is an illusion he can’t deliver on all these things he’s promised everyone.I guess maybe the one good thing is we won’t see Sharpton and Jackson around for a while.
excuse me but i am so first on the pie list.
There will be a recount.
Sorry about the friends link I thought it would be helpful to him, you still can screen yes?
anyway, hope I didn’t upset the apple cart.
Nah. You’re alright. I was thinking about putting a link there but hesitated to pull the trigger. Our fearless leader still screens them.
I’m in total agreement.
i am truly shocked at how many that voted for the One, voted based on ‘making history’. ???? i couldn’t believe it when my niece told my mom, i am tired of everyone asking how i can be a christian and vote for obama, he is NOT for abortion!… still scratching my head..
farmgal, he is warning cause he is already running for term 2, that is why. well, i can’t get all i need to get done in one term. what will this man do if he doesn’t have another position to run for? he actually has to work this job. will be interesting if not that it will be also devastating to this country.
oh, i signed up to freinds, too. backwoods, hope that is okay..
No, no, a thousand times NO!! Thompson is too old and doesn’t have fire in his belly. You saw what he did in this election!! We need someone who is young, enthusiastic, and has the gift of oratory. I am sick and tired of fumbling, bumbling speakers who can’t put a coherent sentence together. Fred speaks too slowly and deliberately. The glib-tongues dems would walk all over thim. Common folks, think. Fred Thompson is a wonderful conservative man, but not the one to bring us back. We need another one like Reagan…man, could that guy orate!
No problem. We just worry about getting some loon, that’s all.
Congress has what, 17% approval. And 90% or more will be reelected. Yep, change you can believe in. American voters are hypocrites.
Fred might do well as head of the RNC, with him providing the direction and a qualified underling to do the legwork.
Respecting the Office of the President is something I will always do … but that does not mean I have to respect the individual occupying the office …
Felt that way for 8 years of Clinton the Draft Dodger … will feel the same way for Barack the Teleprompter … (hopefully for no more than 4 years) …
Today … core dump of last 2 years of depressing campaign related CRAP …
Tomorrow … reload, refresh and restart …
I will begin working for 2010 and 2012 tomorrow …
Not sure who asked but….no Palin can not put herself in Stevens seat. Alaskan law does not allow that.
Fondly remember Nov ’79. The 8 years following that weren’t so bad, either! Then the Dark Ages started. Where and how did Conservatism come off the rails?
YES, BUT LOOK WHAT HE ACCOMPLISHED!!!
murtha proves you can insult your democrats, call them names, but give them pork and they will vote for you forever. just like cold cash jefferson. so one lesson this election should teach us is ted stevens is doing the right thing by continuing his run. if reelected, he then gets booted and sarah palin replaces him.
Actually, that would be called a “rhetorical flourish”.
God helps those that help themselves …
Just a simple reminder …
I was on my way to vote last night and I had to bring my 14 year old daughter with me since we were on our way home from work and school together.
Anyhow, she had just played two hours of soccer and was really tired. She asked me as we were walking into our polling place, “Mom, why am I going in with you?” She wanted to stay in the car and chill out.
I said, “I want you to witness the death of democracy and the USA so you can tell your children and grandchildren about it.”
My daughter became very quiet and didn’t say a word until we got home.
Stupid people vote too.
greae your loins folks….the country is in for “change”….anybody else getting sick of dear leaders voice?? I guess I’ll be wearing out my mute button very soon…
good thing I have a very large dvd collection, plenty to watch….lol
ooops that’s right they’ll be over to take those DVD’s and give to those that are more needy…my mistake…sorry…
Personally,I intend to treat Chairman Obozo with the same respect that he and his toadies treated Joe the Plumber….and to treat his wife with the same dignity they showed Sarah Palin
Good One!! I didnt think to say that to my daughter. But since she will be eligible to vote in the next election, I made her stand right next to me in the polling booth while I walked her through the entire voting process. (I did let her see my final choices though, because dont want my grandkids saying “well mom votes this way cuz granddad told her to)
I showed her the booklets and the handouts that she needed to research before she votes (her eyes got really wide and she shook her head).
I told her she didnt have to vote on EVERY item on the ballot, because if she wasnt informed about the person/topic then she had no business voting on it.
And then I said just loud enough that the poll workers probably heard me “You do not vote for someones clothes or if you like them or not. You vote for who is going to represent what YOU believe in”
(what was humorous was that the poll workers thought she was there to vote too)
What happened to the Congressman with “more than one” affair – was he up for reelection?
When Clinton took states the had been Red for some time, the RNC panicked and started to believe that America wanted liberals in the White House. Enter W. Not a quite a Lib… but in no way a true conservative. Then when his popularity was plummeting, the RNC made another miscalculation. They still thought they weren’t liberal enough.
Instead of fighting for the base’s principles, they pandered to the left, hoping “they would win the hearts and minds of the enemy”
hearts and minds…. Sounds familiar?
They had disposed with fiscal responsibility and so many other principles that was core to conservatives.
George Bush was a political fiasco. Instead of fighting, he folded his arms and took “the high road”.
And that was all she wrote.
There’s more to it of course, but this is what stands out for me at the moment.
Is his villa in Mexico move-in ready yet? He can step down anytime, I’ll take Cheney until Komrade takes over.
If the RNC wants me back a registered Republican they need to change party primary election rules…i will never vote for another LOTE that was forced on us by the party and the LMS(newspapers, major t.v. networks). When the LMS likes the republican candidate you can bet their not conservative …ala McCain.
There’s another presidential ticket that should have been reversed…Cheney/Bush…Palin/McPain
So, in summary, we were sold out by those we thought represented us. I wonder if there are historical precedents for that.
Yup.
The Gang of 8
The Gang of 10
The Gang of (any friggin number you want to pick)
And any version of the Crap Sandwich sellout you may want to choose.
Sulu in the Evil Kirk episode of Star Trek.
And any version of the Crap Sandwich sellout you may want to choose.
Going back further… well… most of you saw 300.
And of course… there’s Judas.
Absolutley not!! Palin needs to stay in Alaska, choose ANOTHER replacement for Stevens if need be, run for and get reelected, bone up on international issues, have sevaral speaking engagements in the lower 48, make appearances on the MSM, AS HERSELF WITH HER OWN VIEWS, and prepare to get back in the national scene in 2012.
If she replaced Stevens, she will be stifled by GOP leadership and just be one among the other 99 senators in D.C. without the opportunity to do any meaningful reform.
Gaining experiece as governor is better than any experience she could gain as a senator.

Better to remain outside the D.C. swampgas. Gaining experiece as governor is better than any experience she could gain as a senator.
Oops, sorry about the double posts.
I’m encouraged that President-Elect Obama’s first official act is to choose Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff. There is no more non-partisan Democrat than that
