The A-jad/Obama dialogue begins
One Dear Leader sends his best regards to another. Can’t wait for the chai-sipping session (via LAT):
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today posted a congratulatory message to President-elect Barack Obama on his official website.
But his lengthy note also cautioned Obama to change America’s ways and to reverse policies based on what he described as “belligerency, occupation, bullying, demagoguery,” among other things.
It is part of Iran’s complicated response to the election of Obama, who has said he’d be willing to speak with Iran’s leadership, as detailed in a report written for today’s Los Angeles Times.
Ahmadinejad begins his note with the kind of flowery, somewhat overblown language typical in the Middle East:
I congratulate you on your success in mustering the majority of votes cast in the presidential elections. You know pretty well that the opportunities God grants to people he has created are short-lived, and they could either serve perfection of mankind and interests of nations or, God forbid, disserve nations. I hope that His Excellency will favor the genuine interests of people and justice over the never-ending demands of a selfish and fallible minority, so that you can seize on this chance in the best manner and leave behind a good legacy.
But he quickly gets down to the nitty-gritty, advising the freshman senator on what he must do to be an effective president.
Ahmadinejad writes that Obama must “overhaul” America’s domestic and foreign policies because the people of the world and U.S. expect it.

On a more serious note, Obama had better be focusing on Russia, who used the global kowtowing to quietly push hundreds of thousands of troops, thousands of tanks, and who knows how many offensive missles into the Caucasus region, and push legislation removing term limits on all government positions in Russia, allowing ‘Pooty Poot’ to rule for an indeterminate time period

All the world expects Obama to “overhaul” America’s domestic and foreign policies and obviously millions upon millions Americans do also. Nancy Pelosi and Dingy Harry obviously do. Ahmadinejad became main stream on November 4th, 2008. If the mullahs and ayatollahs of Iran replace Ahmadinejad it will not be to our benefit.
If he is replaced it will not be because of the electorate of Iran-they do not exist, not in practice.

I could have sworn the definition of dialogue would necessarily involve two people. Not quite sure I have seen Obama respond.
I am afraid of the response Obama might have for this invitation to genocide. A proper response would be to send a few cruise missiles into Tehran. However Obama is already sending American teams to listen to the demands of muslim brotherhood of Egypt, and dicator of Syria. He wants these goons to know that new American foreign policy will be more alligned with their interests. What exactly are their interests? You think Syrian giraffe only aspires to walk on the Golan? He wants a jewish genocide. How about muslim brotherhood? They want global sharia, and a day “when the jew will hide behind the rock.” Little hitler from Iran wants Obama to know that he also wants to same things. Well, that little press release from “I’m-a-demon-job” should act as the impetus for Israel to decide to take him out before BHO gets in office. I can’t see Israel waiting to eliminate the nuclear threat until after BHO is crowned.

israel, like us, has lost it’s tough leaders. people who will go out, destroy it’s enemies, and come back home secure in the knowledge that they left their enemies fearing their return. we are like the mouse that roared comedy of the 60s where countries know we can defeat them, but then we will hang about for years rebuilding them while they kill us off one by one as we work to rebuild their buildings. marshall plan my ass, blow them up and let them and their god sort out the mess. but of course we lack the balls to do that, our colin powell/george bush1 or2 won’t win a damn war, they have to appease the losers and get them to like us. who cares if they like us, what’s necessary is that they fear us. israel has lost that fear factor also.
