Apology for disgusting ads

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 7, 2008 05:38 PM

Thanks to all the readers who alerted me that some disgusting ads are appearing on this site. I have alerted my ad representative, who handles all the ads on the site, and hope to have it resolved soon.

Oh that’s right I have ad block plus and I love it to death. As a matter of fact I think I’ll go over there and wip out my AMEX and send them a donation if they take them.

Some sights are so obnoxious with flickering ads that they give you vertigo.

I have no idea what the ads look like on MM, but I would be more than happy to have a civilized option to click on an ad, or not.

Ad Block is so non invasive that I don’t even realize that it is working for me in the background. It updates itself automatically.

Thank god for the open source community and Firefox.

There are ads on more than 3 popular right leaning blogs that are for PETA. I directly contacted the owners of 2 of those sites : RightWingnews and PowerlineBlog (forum) (and also posted a comment Gateway Pundit) by telling them that they are giving up space to left wing causes.

RightWingNews said they didn’t care and just wanted the money as capitalists. Well if they were real right wingers maybe they would care. Integrity is more important that money.

I received no response from Powerline or GatewayPundit. The ads are still present on GatewayPundit and RightWingNews and I refuse to read their sites any longer because they are sellouts.

Way to go for making it tidy over here.

The drawbacks, though, are no embedded pics or videos, and when comments go over 3 pages, if I try to start at page 1 the server resets and Dad’s LifeDrive goes SOD on me.
