On November 7th, 2008 at 7:55 pm, Bill Grant said:

Yes, that is exactly the question Dad asked on this board, which he called "The Question". I reposted it, and got the same beating from people here.

Boiled down it was simply: At what point is more Socialism too much Socialism?

No one answered. If you take the beating we got as an answer, however, the answer seems: there is never too much Socialism, as long as it is from the correct letter of the alphabet.

Here, here, Michelle!

I missed out on signing the petition. It was already closed by the time I read your post on it. Ironic how the far left loons continue to show their true character (or, should I say lack of character?).

As to the blabbermouths, it is evident to me that even Republicans (the party elitists?) fear a Palin national prominence/presence. Not unlike Ronald Reagan, Gov. Palin has a charm, charisma, personality and an energy about her that could wrest the party and its conservative base away from the staid party leaders, those who, by the way, have lost the past two elections.

(Hey, even in Pittsburgh, the owners of the Pirates get tired of fielding losing teams for 15 straight years. The top executives were replaced last year with the intent of turning the franchise around and bringing a consistent winner to the best city and the best baseball park.)

The Republican Party elites do not want to lose the control they have had. Thus, the attacks on one who genuinely threatens that control.

SoCal Black liberation theology and all of that is racism and it comes out of peoples culture and values not from the DNA that controls their pigment. By saying that it comes from their pigment you are basically saying that they will never change. You really will be ineffective in your conservatism until you can base your objections to racism of any sort to peoples choices and values and not their pigment. In fact you will bring scandal on conservatism by such a mindset.
