President-Elect D’oh-bama’s Gaffe #1: Sorry, Nancy

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 7, 2008 07:30 PM

And so it begins.

Or rather, continues.

President-elect D’oh-bama apologizes (vid here in case you missed it):

President-elect Barack Obama called Nancy Reagan this afternoon to apologize for a joke about her having heald “séances” in the White House, an Obama aide said.

“President-elect Barack Obama called Nancy Reagan today to apologize for the careless and off handed remark he made during today’s press conference,” said transition spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter. “The President-elect expressed his admiration and affection for Mrs. Reagan that so many Americans share and they had a warm conversation.”

Obama was asked at his press conference today if he’d spoken to all the “living” presidents.

“I have spoken to all of them who are living,” he responded. “I didn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about doing any séances.”

Hillary Clinton did seances. Nancy Reagan did astrology.

At least he didn’t call her “Weezy.”

Can’t wait until the increasingly erratic, super-gaffetastic Vice President-Elect gets rollin’.

Stay classy there Mr. POTUS (elect) by slamming the wife of one of the greatest President’s of my life time. I really got a kick out of the way the stock market lost 145 points once he started talking this afternoon. The only upside it recovered by the end of the day, but I am confident that as we see more of his cabinet picks and advisors it will continue to tank.

May favorite part of the “elected one” is how he side stepped the question on raising taxes. I almost wish I could have seen this, but was at work I heard he really had trouble struggling without a telepromter. To think all of the liberals used to make fun of Bush, I hate to say it but, the “elected one” made Bush look like the orator of the century compared to him. I’ll be cutting him about as much slack as the liberals did Bush!

When I first heard this “joke,” I wondered where did that come from? Then something occurred to me: This is exactly the kind of lame humor a college instructor/professor uses in class to show how cool he is and that he really is a good guy (i.e liberal/leftist). Since we know young people can’t get enough of Obama, I suspect this is his default mode of communication, his comfort zone if you will. It obviously works — for them. To bad it doesn’t work for anyone else in the country. Which tells me he is already starting to feel the heat knowing full well that he has been promoted far above his pay grade and now he is expected to perform. OMG.

So watch The Mighty O’s humor in the future. It will give a good clue as to how stressful the real world has become for him. Already I think it is time to seek shelter.

My previous comment may have been just a slight bit unfair. I will take Ann Coulter’s advice however, and offer to B H O the very same level of support and admiration given by America’s left to President Bush these past few years. That should square us just fine.

The blonde chick with the huge ears to the right of Obama (to our left) is MY (Michigan) governor Jennifer Ganholm. She’s being called upon as an ECONOMIC adviser. That right there should tell you that we are all in DEEP DOO-DOO!! She’s the worse governor America’s ever seen, she’s practiced everything Obama’s preached over the past two years, and GOD HELP US if Obama does for the rest of the country what Granholm has done TO Michigan in the past six years.

BTW, this sort of behavior by Obama cannot be helped. He’s never in his life ever been held to any standard of decency, humility, or honor. He’s a Chicago thug-politician, and you aren’t going to take a Chicago thug-politician, put him into the White House, and expect him to be “presidential.”

He’s a PUNK. Have any of you seen video of him giving the middle-finger while talking about Hillary during the primary season, and then again to McCain just prior to the election (pretending to be scratching his face with it in the meantime). Barack Obama is a graceless PUNK. That is who he is, and that is who our president is–a PUNK.

I shared this bit of news with a lady I work with who is originally from Michigan and I thought her head was going to explode. I cringe at what this woman has done in giving Michigan the highest unemployment rate in the US. Just think what her advice can do for the rest of the country.

Hillary Clinton did seances. Nancy Reagan did astrology.

Maybe his intent was for the remark to be an under-the-radar swipe at Hillary by attributing her behavior to Nancy Reagan. He may not have even realized that he insulted Mrs. Reagan, because in Barack America, it’s a given that the Reagans are to be regarded without respect.

What’s the name of the guy who will be The One’s Chief of Staff? Cuffy Meigs? Anyway, he and Hillary are enemies, so the stage is being set for an intra-party war between The One and Hillary. It’s a fight that Hillary relishes, because in four years, she wants to point to Obama disasters and tell voters that they can’t get that old Clinton magic back with just any old Democrat. Operation Chaos is going to go nuclear.

Kinda like I said last night, obama is watching a lot of Three Stooges Shorts trying to figure out just the “left” types to put in his cabinet. yohanniimu, how is she ’splaining the wonderful economy in Detroit? I’m sure it’s Bush’s fault. Then, it’s the Republican’s AND George Bush’s fault.

HeYaa! Get up you freaking dead horse! I ain’t beat you enough yet. I’ll never get tired of beatin’ up on those Republicans.
