The adoration of the Obamessiah
A national holiday in honor of The One? For heaven’s sake:
Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation’s 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.
“Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.
At 7:30 a.m. on Inauguration Day, Obama Cake will be served at the downtown McDonald’s, and a celebration is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 20 at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th.
Now, remember: If you oppose the Obama National Holiday, you’re a RAAAAAAAAAAAAACIST!

You routinely chastise many on this blog for not having their facts straight.
The idiots in SF wanted to name a sewage treatment plant after Booooosh because of how badly they think of him.
Now, if that is what you were going for, we are in agreement — SF has nuts. BUT if you honestly thought they wanted to name a building after him because of how well they thought of him, YOU need to do some fact-checking.
Come to think of it, SF has nuts no matter what. Just sayin’.
Anyone want to bet that the “O’s” in the Google logo will be replaced by the egomaniac 0bama campaign symbol on Jan. 20?

At the risk of being an alarmist, I agree with Jamesgreenidge. After all, Bill Clinton was able to obfuscate his sexual harrassment of an intern, creation of a hostile work environment, risk of being blackmailed, lying to a judge, etc. to the “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.”
My very real fear is that we have just voted in the last “fair” Presidential election. Quickly, the Dems will have us closely tied with the UN soon to be followed by a “One World” alliance, which Obama has already promised, “We are going to change the world.”
We need a strategy. Actually, what we need is someone or some organization who can coordinate a strategy. I am willing to do whatever is needed, but my mind is swimming with all the fronts that need to be covered. If nothing else, this election should have shown us the breadth and depth of the reach of the Obamites. They were kicking on every front and don’t expect them to give up their power readily.
We need coordination.

And I forgot to mention that we need to stop communicating via the Internet. While Obama and the Dems may not be able to abolish free speech, we saw with Joe the Plumber that control of the beaurocracy lends itself to the effective abolition of Free Speech.

My wife and I sat down to dinner. She had turned on the NBC Evening News. It was hard to not wretch as I watched over 50% of the “newscast” dedicated to how The One had transformed the world, NO EXAGGERATION. They even had the guy in Egypt who said, “For the first time in eight years, I am proud of my country.” JUST made you want to hurl.
THEN….. NBC had an in depth story on how today was the 30th Anniversary of the Jonestown mass suicide as 900 followers of Jim Jones “drank the Kool Aid.” My wife could not understand why I was suddenly in hysterics, laughing my insides out.
When she asked why I said, “Those peope are the equivalent to today’s Obama worshipers. Like Jim Jones, Obama never did anything in his life, but there will people willing to follow him right over the cliff. Wait a year and you will see the psychological equivalent again.”
NBC had no clue what they had just done.
Man I called this about a month ago. Too bad I’m not a bettin’ man. Again, why not? MLK was a commie too. Just another pointless gubment day off.

There have been several important articles discussing the fact that the **Number One** priority for Obama and Pelosi will not be any near-term policy initiatives but changes to our democratic system to assure that their political domination is forever. Among likely steps that have been mentioned: the suppression of talk radio; a quick, easy path to citizenship to guarantee millions of new voters grateful to the Dems; changing the rules of the game by stacking the SCOTUS with political partisans; enhancing the power of unions by changing the rules for union elections; further fraud-enabling initiatives like ID-less voting; expansion of franchise to incarcerated felons, etc., etc.
One matter that I have not heard mentioned is DC statehood. Two more guaranteed far-left senators — forever — will significantly help to make permanent the Dem grip on power. Wiki says that DC statehood probably needs only an act of congress to become a reality. It gets introduced ~every~ session, but goes nowhere. It will definitely go somewhere this year…count on it.
Also, I expect to see a renewed assault on the electoral college system which is considered to disadvantage the liberals.
Personally, there is a limit to how far I can be pushed before I push back.

I say we give O’Bummer a day and we make it the same day the RNC gets a clue. We can call it “Elect a Moderate day when hell freezes over” or “You know you want a Maverick – well, we do”.
McDonald’s went all out supporting the HomoSEXual agenda and we didn’t darken their doors. I am at the point we egg their doors now.

I’ve been reading about this Obama/Biden Transition Project,” it is a 501(c)4 tax-exempt organization, with no limits on the contributions it can receive and no requirements to divulge the names of individuals or organizations that give it money. They have stated that it will remain throughout Obamas term. This will be a huge sum of unregulated money to fund groups like ACORN. There are also many who helped Obama’s campaign that won’t be able to pass security clearances whom they will pay out of this fund. There will be billions coming in from foreign governments, drug cartels and people like George Soros. A 501(c)4 may be legal but it certainly isn’t ethical.

Obama’s plans to ’save’ the economy will only make it worse, and people will clamor for the government to ’save’ them…and the obmessiah will be there for them.

Now let’s think about this. Obama and Biden think paying taxes is the patriotic thing to do. Obama wants to tax the rich and give to the poor. Obama promised a transparency in government. Yet the first thing Obama/Biden do is set up a secret non-profit so that his rich buddies can give him substantial money while avoid paying the patriotic taxes while doing so. Ah yes, the change you believed in but will never see.

This the crux of the problem: How does conservatism attract people back from a mindset that a government will save the roof over their heads, keep their kids fed, nurse their ailing parents, will bail them out of any difficulty? It’s just like ancient Rome: Senator Didius Julianus “bought” the empire at auction after the previous Emperor was murdered, just like Hope-a-Dope bought the Oval Office with illegal money; and Rome eventually came to have as many “holidays” as ordinary days on the calendar, “celebrating” various people who achieved nothing in their lives other than the acquisition of power for themselves.

I actually favor an Obama National Holiday. In fact I think it should be four years long, and during that time Congress should go home and nobody should have have to pay taxes.

1) He let terrorists out of Guantanamo so they can regroup for another attack.

3) He’ll attempt to pull out of Iraq by cutting the funds, which is how the Dems forced the retreat from Vietnam, leaving a liberated Iraqi people in the hands of murders again.
Imagination is required to think of what else he might use executive orders for, but there’s nothing to celebrate about with this guy.
