Update 1:54pm Eastern. Obama and his wife have arrived at the White House (or rather, the Obamas’ palace). They were greeted by President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. Lots of touchy-feely back-slapping and glad-handing. No sign of the hand sanitizer the cable shows have been blabbing about all morning. I hear Michelle Obama has already ordered the White House chef to prepare the Obama Cake.
All hail the peaceful transition of power from lame-duck president to overlord-elect!

I clearly remember listening to the radio (NYC) the Night Bill Clinton won the elction. There were 3 female radio hosts at that time: Lisa Evers (Curtis Sliwa’s ex-wife), Joy Behar, and Lynn Samuels. Lisa was going on and on. She could barely contain her glee. She said she’d called Joy and Lynn and gushed: “We’re in! We’re in!”
I never quite grasped what she meant, but damn, was she ecstatic.
I think we’re seeing the same thing with ‘O’. The novelty will wear-off after the inauguration, and the world will finally realize that black people can screw things up just as much as white people can.

So how are the MSM outlets making money these days (ABC,NBC,CBS, BSNBC, CNN)? And Fox is getting there - they miffed me on the Palin thing and the immediate flip-flop to pro-obama.

Yes, there was a lot of bad behavior being rewarded and a lot of unrealistic expectations place on Obama’s plate. Obama may not be able to deliver on his own expectations. As for the bad behavior, where does Soros/moveon, ACORN and the MSM go from here? Most rational people will not trust any of these organizations. No, I am not suggesting that you do not have a source that would tell you, almost immediately, about what food Michelle Obama will want to be prepared by the White House Chef. But, the timing of this statement, based on when the Obamas arrived at the White House and when you posted this comment strains credulity. Ok, maybe you heard it before they arrived at the White House. (You did not note when you actually ‘heard’ it.)
I have learned a few things from you in your past writings. Be careful when reading a column, or report, when the words ’some’ and ‘many’ are used. Never thought about that before and it makes sense. You earned my trust over time. I respect what you have to say and your point of view.
On that list of words (phrases) that should cause caution to the reader are ‘I hear’ and ‘an anonymous source.’
Just because the other kids are jumping off of bridges and suffering from JTPDS and BDS, does not mean we have to jump off bridges and suffer from ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome).

Whenever an elected official, or one of their minions, makes a statement like that of Ms. Jarrett they lose their right to be involved in our government at any level. Ms. Jarrett should resign immediately, and if she won’t resign, then she should be fired!
