Watching Sarah Palin thru the course of the campaign was like the story of David and Goliath with Sarah as David and the MSM as Goliath shoving her and her family down at every turn. McCain and his team, sadly, crossed the aisle, and partnered with Goaliath, preventing the majority of the people of this country from ever meeting our Sarah.
I will be watching. I love Neil and always watch him.

I’m sure you’ll let viewers know how impudent it was for FOX to let loose a report from anonymous sources just like the NY Times did to McLame and slam McLame good for not defending her on Leno.
I hope you tell them that unless the initial State primaries are not closed (have to be registered Republicans to vote in Republican primary) – we will continue to have our candidates chosen by independents and others, and continue to have psuedo-Republican candidiots.

I wish these announcements would come earlier in the morning or the previous day. Then I’d be able to tape the broadcast.
I know it may be hard as scheduling for these shows is often at the last minute.

Why make an exception for McCain? He may be a character, but he hasn’t shown much in this instance.
Neil made a big error in saying that after an election the losing Pres-VP candidates always attack one another. Doesn’t apply here. Sarah Palin has been nothing but loyal in defending McCain since Day One. I can imagine her personal dissapointment with his cowardice and wouldn’t blame her if she did dis him , though.
Husband and I just saw Michelle on Cavuto. As usual she was great! Says more in 10 seconds than most people say in a lifetime.
I would like to second purplepeep in that Cavuto was wrong about his saying the Dems attack each other after elections like Palin has been attacked. I do not recall two Dems calling each other idiots, divas, inadequate and the reason the election was lost. At least not on the level Palin has received criticism. Secondly, Michelle was right about it coming from within the McCain camp, and I would bet good money he knows it, and that is why he is not going out to vociferously defend Palin. May a thousand fleas infest the jockey shorts of Mark Salter! Dittos to all the rest of you jerks slamming Palin!

@$#% missed it… I was distracted by helping another multi-national corporation take over the world.
I’m also noting that there was no tit-for-tat sniping coming from Palin (at least that I’ve heard of), so to say it “back and forth” as Cavuto did is just wrong in this case. Didn’t happen.
The only times I wish I had a TV is when Michelle is on.

There is no comparison between the anonymous McCain advisers disparaging Gov. Palin and the Kerry – Edwards slap fest. The insults in the Kerry – Edwards incident had names attached to them. The McCain cowards are hiding under the cloak of anonymity.
I think it’s totally embarrassing for candidates to go on such programs to announce their candidacy (as Fred Thompson unfortunately choose to do).

Good job Michelle, I wish you’d had the time to go a bit deeper into McCain’s motivations – that he’s really a collectivist in an elephant costume.
Once McCain offered Sarah Palin the VP nomination, he had a duty to be loyal to her and to defend her. But there was a much better choice for vice president and McCain was too thickheaded to nominate him. I refer to former California Governor Pete Wilson. Nobody could have argued that Wilson was inexperienced. And being a Californian, Wilson could have made the Golden State competitive. The Republicans make a huge mistake by simply ceding California. If McCain had nominated Pete Wilson, Obama would have had to spend precious resources competing in California. And aside from the political benefits of nominating Wilson for VP, Wilson was clearly ready to be president. McCain is a real dope for not even thinking of Wilson as his running mate. You have to wonder about the competence of McCain’s campaign advisors. I don’t think these guys could run a two car funeral.

I don’t have the time, nor will, to watch someone pander then recant then attack then tell how quickly he found out the person was “whatever.” Ultimately, he sides with the MSM and tries to paint the picture of having been the only one to just find out about it, when half what he discusses was beaten to death the night before either on MM or HA. A few years ago, we used to watch him EVERY night. Now I am the only one, and I only watch once in a while for a few minutes… he just doesn’t seem like a true conservative anymore.

Going on Leno to announce his love and support of Palin was such a back-handed way to do it. He should have been the first out of the shute and flattened any of those that worked for him….plus, made it known in the “industry” they are not to be trusted! Instead, he wimped out and used it as an evening out on his way back to the Senate.

All he said positive about her and her family was he was “proud of her and her family” What a shameless, condesending remark from a butt head, that he is.
