What a courageous young woman she is, while her male attackers are nothing more than sub-human cowards. All in the name of allah, yep, that sure is some
religioncult. What shameful cowardice by the Islamist thugs and what amazing bravery by Shamsia.
Brave girl. Where are the Feminists now? Too busy killing babies, I suppose.
What bravery! I hope she can continue her schooling. These cowardly Taliban thugs need to be eradicated. They can’t deal with an educated woman, that might be threatening to them.
Too bad many American kids don’t value their education as much as this young woman does.
This article should be mandatory reading for all school children in America tomorrow morning. They need to know that what they take for granted in this country has to be fought for in other countries.
They need to know how priviledged they are to live in the land of the free.
Shamsia is to be commended for her bravery and commitment to her education.
An inspiration to all!!
Where are the Islamic moderates who say this is nothing but an aberration? Where is their outrage?… Cowards all!!!
Their’s is not the same god!
“For the Glory of God!”
Show this story on MTV to all those spoiled self-absorbed young people who don’t understand terror.
Makes you ponder why freedom is on the march everywhere in the world but here. Iraqis are free, Afghans are free, Europe is tearing down its socialist infrastructure, and we get to choose between two socialist pigs for president.
Hopefully some of these lawsuits challenging both candidates’ citizenship may have legs and maybe even give us a re-vote. The idea of President Biden just makes me sick. this guy has been losing presidential bids for over twenty years. What makes anyone think he’ll be able to win a war?

While your at it show it to all of those spoiled self-absorbed “adults’ in America!
I will personally volunteer to go kick anyone’s a$$ who tries to stop her.

So true.
Do that and EVERYONE (on both sides of the aisle) will see what fools they’ve been this past election year. I’m not sure the people can take that big a shock.

This makes me so angry I could spit. What freaking COWARDS.
Praying Brave Shamsia heals and continues her education unharmed.
Animals!
Some people need to be removed from the gene pool while others, like Shamsia need to be cloned.
I’ve read elsewhere that these acid attacks have been going on for some time. IIRC there are some American doctors that are performing plastic surgery to reduce the scars of the brave women who forged ahead with the valor of a warrior.
What is c.a.i.r.’s position on these attacks?
May the attacker’s find that their final resting place is in that special hot corner of HELL.
An inspiration. Shamsia and others in Afghanistan and Iraq are so courageous. When you risk your life to do a normal (to us) activity like going to school or voting, you’re a patriot. She wants to improve her country, I pray she gets the chance.
Probably because most of them haven’t sacrificed a damned thing in their sorry lives. Mommy and Daddy gave them everything they asked for, and Daddy never fought for his freedom either.
I wish to be associated with Tennessee Dave’s remarks in #5.
Unfortunately, this sort of thing has been going on for a while, but without a peep (that I’ve seen) from the those whom you would think would support girls’ education.
She is a very brave girl, and the cowards that attacked her should be plenty warm in the afterlife. (And not by the body heat of their imaginary 74 virgins, but a different kind of heat…)
But relax. Now that The One has been elected, I’m sure he’ll sit down to tea with the rat b***ards and hold hands and then everything will be alright. After all, these swine think just like us, right? They’ll respond to reason, right?
Do any of our resident trolls have anything to say on this matter?
Forget MTV, FamilyMan. Show it to Obama and hope the reality sinks in.
What a courageous young woman. Good for her.
What they did to her makes me cry.
We could really use a website or email connection to encourage and send well wishes to Shamia and others (or to the school itself) who were victims of this cowardly attack.
Bravery-
It is my prayer that -when called upon-I will show such courage….
Such terror actions are here in the US now….

Michelle Obama now has a choice. Bush sent in a worthless apologist. Let us see what Obama will do.
If anyone out there still thinks that all religions lead to the same god, then they need to go to Afghanistan and meet this little girl and ask her about the men who maimed her and the god who directed their paths.
riggword
Doesnt matter. Its obviously Bush’s fault.
You’re correct, Rabbid.
Just ask Olbermann or the NYT editorial staff.
This is generally a good idea. If there were such a site where Americans could directly read the stories of or contact Iraqis whose lives were improved by our intervention it could’ve helped turn the election against the military “baby-killer” implications fielded by MSNBC and CNN. I’d love for the anchors of CNN and MSNBC to face to face with those such as Shamia and say our liberating women and girls over there was “a mistake”.
I’m VERY disappointed in how Iraqi-Americans here have been in pushing this point.

Young Shamsia is a patriot. She expresses her desire to pursue her God given Rights, unalienable Rights, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
I Pray that she will be revered by her countrymen and held up as a role model, a hero.
Not completely ‘off topic’…
Would this not be a noble pursuit for out First-Lady-elect? Will she go over and kick some jihadi a$$? Or will she spend her tenure sitting like Peg Bundy on the couch watching Oprah and Phil?
Perhaps she could display some leadership and get behind those young girls in countries where they are actually ‘beaten down and opressed’.
I Pray that Shamsia has the courage to leave the deathcult known as islam.
Zorro where did you get all that from?
Did we read diff articles?
Sounds like a patriot to me.
T$,
There are many noble persuits the first lady elect could participate in, that said she has lived her life as an angry black woman with imagined enemies.
I expect no epiphany.
Zorro,
until she renounces the deathcult she is part of the problem acid on face or not PERIOD
Sounds as if she needs Prayer.
I agree. Although, if she converts to Christianity, that by itself will be her death sentence.
Islamic moderates are like Sugar Plum Fairies–just children stories. Oh there may be the odd muslim who would not slit your throat or throw acid in a young persons face. But he just might watch as it is done.
They did dance in the streets on 9/11.
Picking on school girls. Just like the bullies they are.
I just tried to explain this situation to my 8 year old daughter. “What are they? Stupid?” was her response. She gets it.
Mocking Gov. Palin?
Michelle,
Waterboy mentioned American doctors who are providing plastic surgery. If you can track this down and see if there is a site where people can donate money to offset costs, I think it would be a worthy cause and I know many of us here would donate.
Shamsia and other brave Islamic girls are just easy targets for radical men and jihadis. National Geographic had a story a few months ago on Pakistan–a girl there was “HONOR RAPED”–the police / authorities refused to do anything to her politically well connected attackers–who promised to return for more fun with the girl and her sisters.
Another National Geographic article on Iran a few years ago showed how a brave woman and her two sisters handle this threat. They were attending a wedding–no head scarves, dressed in pretty makeup, jewelery, clothing, etc. They weren’t worried about jihadis–the woman carried her “noisemaker” with her–a folding stock AK47 WITH THE FULL DRUM MAGAZINE! Her sisters carried other weapons also–no fear or jihadi / Imam / morals police problems there!
Now you know why our Constitution’s framers gave us a second amendment right to arm ourselves. We are allowed to protect ourselves when the authorities can’t or won’t–or when they act with the evildoers.
Condi Rice told how her minister father and other Black persons had to patrol their deep South community to keep KKK types out of their neighborhood–the police didn’t care to protect them. Colt, S & W, Winchester, and 12 gauge shotguns / 00 buckshot worked quite well–again–no problems (or KKK guys) there!
The women of the benighted Islamic countries need to form a VIGILANTE GROUP / SISTERHOOD TO ARM AND PROTECT THEMSELVES. This group should also do PAYBACK to any individual jihadis and / or government / police agency that fails to protect them–or works with their oppressors. The next attack should look like Israel or the old West movie scenes where the (female) citizens empty the guns into the murderers.

It’s stories like this (and the non-reaction to it) that conclusively prove the cowardice and irrelevance of NOW.
Animals.
I have since had time to check on my memory. It was not the Iraq school children. It was the group called Depilex Smilagain Foundation and is based in Pakistan. Here are some links. Young children warning.

I would guess that there is probably an American group that is in parallel.
Either way, the attacks are sub-human.
