Watch gay activists hound Christians in San Francisco’s Castro district:
Even some left-wing blogs are starting to realize this is bad p.r. for their side.
From the YouTube user’s description of the confrontation, which got physical:
After just singing and worshiping God for a while, Roger decided that we should all hold hands in a circle and continue singing. So we did.
Someone (Actually a person who came up and hugged and kissed some of us who he knew from the past) convinced some people that we were there to protest against the no on 8 campaign.
Then some guy who was dressed up like one of the sisters (The sisters of perpetual indulgence is a group of men who dress up like nuns and call themselves the spiritual authority of the Castro.) took a curtain-type thing (Which I think they use to curse people) and wrapped it around us.
Then a crowd started gathering. We began to sing “Amazing Grace”, and basically sang that song the whole night. (At some points we also sang “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus” and “Oh the Blood of Jesus”.) At first, they just shouted at us, using crude, rude, and foul language and calling us names like “haters” and “bigots”. Since it was a long night, I can’t even begin to remember all of the things that were shouted and/or chanted at us. Then, they started throwing hot coffee, soda and alcohol on us and spitting (and maybe even peeing) on us. Then, a group of guys surrounded us with whistles, and blasted them inches away from our ears continually. Then, they started getting violent and started shoving us. At one point a man tried to steal one of our Bibles. Chrisdene noticed, so she walked up to him and said “Hey, that’s not yours, can you please give it back?”. He responded by hitting her on the head with the Bible, shoving her to the ground, and kicking her. I called the cops, and when they got there, they pulled her out of the circle and asked her if she wanted to press charges. She said “No, tell him I forgive him.”
Afterwards, she didn’t rejoin us in the circle, but she made friends with one of the people in the crowd, and really connected heart to heart. Roger got death threats. As the leader of our group, people looked him in the eyes and said “I am going to kill you.”, and they were serious. A cop heard one of them, and confronted him. (This part is kinda graphic, so you should skip the paragraph if you don’t want to be offended.) It wasn’t long before the violence turned to perversion. They were touching and grabbing me, and trying to shove things in my butt, and even trying to take off my pants – basically trying to molest me. I used one hand to hold my pants up, while I used the other arm to hold one of the girls. The guys huddled around all the girls, and protected them.

Very, very true. This is all part of a bigger picture. It is a documented fact that America was built as, and achieved greatness as, a Judeo-Christian nation built on Biblical values. That foundation has been under attack for less than 100 years, but the attacks are growing ever more viscious. Obama himself is part of the attacks on our Biblical foundation.
Why does a Biblical foundation matter? Because without that foundation, our nation would, in fact, be brought to its knees.

I believe there has been a lot of research on the evolutionary benefits of altruism. Here’s an overview based on a quick google search.

The problem with the issue of gay on straight rape is that most hospitals won’t take a male victim seriously when they come into the ER.
Sadly I have seen this since the mid 90’s in both military and civilian hospitals.
What makes this even more disgusting is that my current job working on a mental health ward, I had a open homosexual cross the line not only with his speech, but with him attempting to do the most disgusting things imaginable-unfortunately my co-workers didn’t respond until I called a “Code yellow” (an assualt in progress) and then the patient was just spoken too and not sedated.
What made it ironic is that we had a patient an hour later refuse to do something, grabbed a nurses hand, released it and walked away. A “Code yellow” was called and the patient was sedated with a haldol shot.

Now my supervisior wonders why I don’t want to work that specific ward while I quietly search for another job.

We all have the right to sexual choice in this country… “Marriage” is, however, a privelege which has existed between a man and a woman, legally-recognized by socially-governing bodies since the beginning of recorded law.
The argument that we here in CA have revoked the “rights” of gays is absurd.
We, the People, in CA voted to affirm that “marriage” was between a man and a woman. Then some judge decided that it wasn’t kosher within the wording of the CA Constitution. So, We, the People, voted to revise the wording in line with our definition of marriage. We did NOT defraud gays of any rights to bugger whomever they want (with consent). We simply enforced the definition of “marriage” within the framework of CA law.
Here’s a thought, if you don’t like it, move to another STATE! I do believe that’s a “right” you still have.
Also, Christians aren’t called by God to meekly go and testify only in safe, warm churches. They’re called by God to go out to the streets and reach out to people. Of couse, secular liberals understand no authority higher than their own ambitions and desires.
I thought attempted rape and assault were criminal offenses…if a cop sees one in progress or believes that one has occured (as in domestic violence) an arrest is made and charges were pressed whether the victim agrees or not. Maybe Kornifornia laws are different…

It’s not just a different opinion, I’m afraid. That the right has politicised this issue so much as to assume every gay person marching against Prop 8 is a “liberal” is grotesque. On every thread you say that same thing. And the response is always that homosexuals can get married. They have the right to marry. Prop 8 was about redefining marriage and the people have spoken.

Um Earth to Sherlock, I was an atheist for most of my adult life until 4 years ago. I was given the same education as you most likely through 12th grade, went on to serve in the military, got out and am now in medicine. My mind and mental capacity has in no way “shrunk” since understanding the truth, quite the contrary. You can deny your conscience and your soul you all want hollow man.

These are the same people who called me a “breeder” when I’d walk hand in hand with my girlfriend in the Castro. You know..the real tolerant liberal types. One of the many reasons I moved to Oakland…I bet you don’t hear that line often!!
