Five words: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 17, 2008 07:44 PM

So say The Guardian and Drudge. I’m skeptical, but bracing for the worst.

Hmmm…

Hillary Clinton plans to accept the job of secretary of state offered by Barack Obama, who is reaching out to former rivals to build a broad coalition administration, the Guardian has learned.

Obama’s advisers have begun looking into Bill Clinton’s foundation, which distributes millions of dollars to Africa to help with development, to ensure that there is no conflict of interest. But Democrats do not believe that the vetting is likely to be a problem.

Reader Mark M. writes: “I would rather see Hillary as Sec of State for 4 yrs than on the Supreme Court for life.”

Where do you think she should take her first diplomatic trip?

I vote Tuzla!

    .

If we all have ODS now we will be half-way to a full blown case of liberal lunacy deficiency four years from now.

Why should anyone be worried about a Marxist with delusions of grandeur, no experience, dangerously naive about national security and absolutely against preserving the US Constitution?

Yes, we all(you too) risk becoming irrelevant in the coming years, but not for the reason you state!

There are four justices, Scalia, Alito, Thomas and Chief Justice Roberts, who believe in interpreting the Constitution as written.

Justice Kennedy is, IIRC, Reagan’s Plan C when Senator Kennedy, the DWI Killer, made it known a Constitutionalist like Bork would never be confirmed. His judicial philosophy is a bit hard to discern, he votes the correct way about half the time.

Then there are four justices that are partisan liberals who believe judges should make laws the popularly elected Congress doesn’t have the wisdom to make.

Ginsberg was the ACLU’s head abortion lawyer, and may indeed be a communist. She is old, she probably steps down to allow an ideological twin, in his/her 40s, preferably, to be confirmed.

But, IIRC, Scalia is 72 years old, and we need to sincerely hope he remains healthy. He also seems to be the primary intellect and guiding force of the justices who believe in three independent branches of government, and respect the separation of powers and consistent interpretation of the Constitution.

If he passes away, God forbid, Obama will have a rubber stamp, and if Obama is indeed The Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers, committed on ending representative democracy in this country, there will be nothing short of a military coup to stop him.
