Bill Ayers: That’s not the Sirhan Sirhan dedication I knew

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 18, 2008 10:16 AM

What a lying crapweasel. Asked about the dedication to RFK assassin Sirhan Sirhan and other “political prisoners” in the Weather Underground’s “Prairie Fire” manifesto (first unearthed by investigative Internet journalist Zombie), Bill Ayers denies that it’s true — then goes on to express his “regret” for singling out the killer.

He concludes by asserting that he would dedicate the book today to millions of “political prisoners” currently behind bars. (Undoubtedly, this would include imprisoned Weather Underground terrorists David Gilbert and Judith Alice Clark and the likes of cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal.)

    Facts are stubborn things.

The socialists need to be reminded of that.

The ignorant (used in the etymological sense, “they don’t know“) voters who gave us this national stress (make no mistake, there will be great stress), if not potential national disaster, by putting the socialists into power (ugh! what a frightening thought), need to have these facts directed to them from every angle, every day.

Ayers is still saying the violence they committed was in protest of the Vietnam war and it is still a lie. The goal of Ayers and Dohrn and the Weathermen was no less than overthrowing the US government and instituting Marxist rule over the country. They intended to use the Black Power movement and war protestors to achieve their aims. When Dohrn made her infamous statements about the killings committed by the Manson family in California, she wasn’t just appreciative of the violence of the acts. She was praising Manson’s plan to incite revolution by blaming blacks for the murders thereby turning whites against blacks.

Ayers can say anything he wants and the MSM will give him the platform to spread his version of the past, but many of us who lived through the seventies know better. From his comfortable upper middle class life, he supports anarchy and Marxism. Except for the bombings, you could call him a dilettante. Those of us who remember the past call him a liar.

It is not new however. I remember back in 1980 I was somehow assigned to teach 8th grade social studies (I was a science and math teacher). I think he’s got this one backwards.

    OR…

“Mostly I tried to distance myself from it since it was a caricature and a cartoon,” Ayers said. “I tried to say, ‘That’s not me, that’s not who I am. He’s has a remarkable similarity to me. He’s got my name, but it’s not me.’”

Exactly how stupid does he think we are? This is so amusing to me – was he joking? (image: Ayers adorning a white sailor suit and cap, singing “I yam what I yam And that’s all what I yam.”).

    or my favorite

He said most of his opposition was comprised ”mostly of middle-aged men who are ventilating on their computer in their mother’s basements who are sweating profusely” and told students, ”if you ingest way too much Fox News you are going to be confused”
