Around here I’m amazed at the people who believe anything the Lame Steam Media tells them. I know several people who voted for Obama and honestly believe that he won’t raise their taxes.
Lenin called them ” the useful idiots “and by God we have plenty of them in this country.
I’d say “unbelievable”..
But this is exactly what I expected from Obama supporters.

They have no idea which party controls congress, no idea who Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi or Barney Frank are.. but they know who had reports of $150K in clothes and who has a pregnant teenage daughter.

This Leno style video is cool, but it’s not a winning argument for Republicans. The better educated demographic groups are heavily Democratic. Republican strongholds are less educated lower income demographics. And there is deliberate misinformation. Just go to youtube.com and search on “obama muslim”.

Calling people ignorant is not a winning issue for Republicans.
Very shallow people voted for Obama. These are the people who can tell you who they voted for in all the American Idol seasons and why. They were told by the “cool kids” who was the protagonist and who was the antagonist and they voted in lockstep.

The poll clearly shows that the media selective released information that favored it’s choice for president.

Sad, but true. “danimal” said it like it is. Racist! All blacks voted for Obama solely because he is black. If a white person voted for someone because they are white we are racist. I have always said the Dimocrats (spelling is correct) can run a piss ant and if there is the word Dimocrat in front of their name they will vote for that person. Juan Williams crying because a black person got elected president. Mr. Williams knows that Obama is not qualified to be president, but that doesn’t matter–He is black that is all that matters.
We have raised a generation of idiots…er, at least the public education system has for us. Want to know more why home schooling and vouchers are catching on like wildfire?

These people are unaware of the political situation because we had a POTUS who never went on the air and spoke to the people. Imagine if ‘W’ had appeared on TV and gone down the list, point-by-point, and explained things to the nation. Fannie Mae….Barney Frank….Bill Ayers….Obama…..Iraq…..
Granted, a lot of people are smart enough to visit numerous news sources and develop intelligent opinions and answers. But, as this clip clearly demonstrates, there are quite a few people who just don’t bother. Think of the reaction from all of the newsgroups and talking heads had ‘W’ addressed the nation as I’d suggested. It would’ve been the top story for days, and these morons would’ve been exposed to the truth behind the stories/rumors they’d believed.

Yeah, there is no connection between intelligence, the ability to reason, and education, the establishment of a fact base that you can reason from. It’s the fact base that is nonexistent in the ignorant citizens.
My highschool cheerleader daughter told me that at last Friday’s football game, at the end of the game both teams and cheerleaders form lines and do the congradulatory line-pass/hand slap. When the girls got to the other girls, my daughters’ bunch (primarily white) did the high-five saying “good game”, while the other teams’ girls (primarily black) chanted “Obama, Obama” and every high-five.
Oh, and we won the game, on to semi-finals for state…Go Lions!

Gee, I just read an article for the NY Times that Obama represents intellectuallism, which brings intelligence back into the White House. He represents the people who accept Global Warming and Evolution without debate.

Im not even going to get into statistical analysis on that one. But just to simplify lets say that the nation as a whole is average. Since the election is roughly 50% for each side – then if the better educated demographic groups is Dem then that would need to mean that the worst educted demographic groups is Dem also.
The Republicans and Indies would have to just be average across the board.
Well, I am a glass half full guy. There is probably about an even chance Obama will simply be the President Jon Cary never got to be. A United Nations dictated foreign and national security policy. (Occasional Islamic terror attacks are just the price of living in this modern world, and any identified survivors of the plots will be indicted by a grand jury, as if that will matter in their caves in Pakistan), private property and enterprise will be allowed to exist, although restricted and more heavily taxed, we’ll keep many of our liberties, although there will be a creeping ‘nanny state’ erosion of some rights like free speech. The national government will control at least half of the GDP, and like other countries in Europe where the government runs over half the economy, there will be permanent 10%+ unemployment rates, and like in Europe, where almost all of the top 100 businesses now were top 100 businesses 50 years ago, new companies will struggle mightily in the face of high taxes and regulation.
IE, Obama just wants to make us into France.
The other option, of course, Obama is indeed The Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers, and shares his views about the complete overthrow of the US and the replacement of our current government with a Marxist one party state.
I guess I’ll try to be optimistic and hope we wind up not much worse than France.

The fact that these people did not know even the basic facts about their OWN PARTY is incredible. And they get to vote! Racism and white guilt, with a smattering of true socialist believers, put Obama in the White House. Platforms had little to do with it. Pathetic.
However, I don’t blame the public schools. I went to one, my kids are in one. You can get an excellent education in them if you pay attention to what you child is being taught. We de-program our kids every night. (The private schools here are even more liberal than the public schools.) I blame decades of liberalism they sucked the parental instinct out of the people who eventually voted for Obama and socialism. They got the parents to buy into the myth of equality of result, and so they get the children. It is a downward cycle.
I usually ignore you as you rarely have anything worthwhile to comment on, but did you watch that whole video? My 12yo daughter can tell you who controls congress, she knows who Pelosi and Reid are, but then again, she isn’t being indoctrinated at a public school. Your comments are further proof that the MSM have certainly done a great job in guiding public opinion on their candidate of choice. I’ll give you one point, though, calling people ignorant is not a vote winner, the better phrase would be that these people have been deliberately kept ignorant of anything of substance about Obama, thanks to the MSM.

75% of the voters in this country make their votes on the basis of emotion. So this is not the least bit surprising.
There was no logical basis to vote for Obama. If he was applying for the job, when you look at the resumes of ALL of the presidential contenders going back to Iowa and the VP’s nominated, Obama had the most pitiful qualifications.
He would have been the first candidate put in the NFI (no further interest) file. Spiderman has more basis in reality than Obama. He’s a media creation.

This yr I have started to believe that 18yrs old isn’t old enough to vote. Additionally, I think one should have to take and pass some sort of test that outlines how our govt works.
We have to many idiots voting who get their news from SNL & other comedy shows. Someone in my family actually stated that he was unsure if Colbert was a real news man or a comedian when he was reporting on news events.

Such a test exists, it’s called the final exam for the American Government classes all High Schoolers take. However, since the education system here is so bad, the students don’t learn anything! Or, if they do, it’s all of a Left-leaning slant because of the teachers and texts used.
