It must have been a slow news day when the NYT Editorial Board felt compelled to make the time to issue THAT groundbreaking statement. And what’s with the newscaster warning the young and squeamish viewers about the “splatterfest” about to be shown? He acts like the camera crew caught Sarah Palin swinging a sledgehammer at a cow’s head. They made such a big deal about “blurring out” the gore, but at that distance, for all I could tell, that dude in the background could’ve been giving those turkeys a shampoo. Much ado about nothing, but I guess they want to take any shots they can at Palin.
