Color-coded charity: No compassion for white men with cystic fibrosis
There’s only one word for the morons who canceled a college charity fundraiser for cystic fibrosis research because those who suffer from the disease aren’t racially diverse enough:

The Carleton University Students’ Association has voted to drop a cystic fibrosis charity as the beneficiary of its annual Shinearama fundraiser, supporting a motion that argued the disease is not “inclusive” enough.
Cystic fibrosis “has been recently revealed to only affect white people, and primarily men” said the motion read Monday night to student councillors, who voted almost unanimously in favour of it.
Every year near the beginning of fall classes, during university orientation for new arrivals, students fan out across the city and seek donations from passersby. According to the motion, “all orientees and volunteers should feel like their fundraising efforts will serve their (sic) diverse communities.”
Nick Bergamini, a third-year journalism student on the student council, said he was the only elected councillor present to vote against the motion. The decision is an example of campus political correctness gone too far, he said.
“They’re not doctors. They’re playing politics with this,” said Mr. Bergamini. “I think they see this, in their own twisted way, as a win for diversity. I see it as a loss for people with cystic fibrosis.”

A good friend’s daughter died of CF, it was horrible to watch he suffer and fade away. To this day I have nightmares of suffocating because of that.
I would love to take these ‘loving’, ‘caring’ arrogant little punks and let them spend time in a terminal CF ward and let them watch these brave young men and women face a death which gets closer with every struggling breath.
And then in front of all those dying people I’d ask the punks to justify their decision based on skin color.
Could someone please explain to all these Liberal f-tards that not everything is race related and disease does not discriminate…unlike them.

It’s a Canadian College, which leads me to ask:
a. Who are whiter than Canadians?
b. Why do I care?
c. Who ever heard of Careleton College, so

This is very sad but sadly not surprising.
(Venting now)I understand it because I am the most hated person on earth. White male, middle-aged, 10 pounds overweight, southern, conservative, Christian, republican (ashamed of Rhinos)and upper middle class with a large Mercedes SUV. The enlightened love writing “greed” on the back window of my car and no one lets me out in a traffic jam.
No matter that I worked my way through college (took 5 years), literally ate bread and water and sold blood for books. Stood behind welfare queens with buggies (plural) full of meat while I waited to pay for my one loaf of bread and one jar of mayonnaise (they wouldn’t let me go ahead of them). Wasn’t eligible for even a college loan due to my family owning land they couldn’t sell because it was worthless, etc… No one bailed me out, no one paid for my food, no one paid my rent or car insurance or gas or tuition or books or clothes or….
I, nor anyone in my family tree (all southerners for the last 150+ years)have ever had slaves. I gladly worked under more minority managers than otherwise and they were fine people. I am not a racist and don’t understand those that are. I’ll gladly walk my mile in those shoes minorities wore, but where is the balance?
I’ve worked very hard, moved over 12 times chasing jobs, only had one child ’cause I couldn’t afford more and now it’s too late(wish I had 5 or 6), and finally made a decent way for myself and my small family. Why am I the bad guy? What did I do other than work and sacrifice to live the American dream?
Why does Biden think it’s time for me to be patriotic? I thought that’s what I’ve been my whole life. Why don’t those that have lived from my taxes thank me for getting what was never, ever made available to me?
It’s because of the same people in this story. So sad, so misguided, so misinformed, and so wrong.

This is racism, but Christians will be persecuted and I have my integrity intact; not taking one penny of welfare or “help” from any government.
I don’t look down on welfare queens, I feel sorry for their children who are growing up without the ability to make it on their own.
That makes me literally sick. I have a grandson who has cystic fibrosis. It turns out it runs in my wife’s family, although we never knew that until our grandson was born. My other daughters have been tested and found to be carriers. In order to have active CF, the child must get the gene from both parents. Great strides are being made in diagnosis and treatment. The decision not to help raise funds for research because of “whiteness” and “maleness” is stupid beyond comprehension. A pox on that university and its PC students and faculty.
I believe that the PC and racism pendulums are at the end of their arc and may start back towards the center.
Chief RZ: I certainly didn’t “look down” on welfare queens. I had to look up to them, because they were doing far better than I. However, I do feel sorry for their plight. Government threw the fathers out of their homes because the check was bigger without them, the check was bigger with more children, the check was bigger as a single mom. Dad may have wanted to be around, but he got no respect because he wasn’t the provider, the government was.
It was a cleverly designed plan to produce a voting bloc. It was most effective in the black community already suffering from discrimination, but it also worked for whites that wouldn’t work even when they could.
Blacks at least had a legitimate reason when it started decades ago (they have no excuse now, imo). The whites that hooked up to the system were just catching the gravy train and are the worst offenders. The bravest among us are the Black conservatives. They are the most abused by both sides. God bless them.
It’s apparent to me that the government hand-outs are extremely bad for any and all. However, we’ve just elected a man that wants more of it and to the nth degree.

I never thought of Caucasian as the “rainbow” race, but it would appear that a case can be made that Caucasian is a diverse race in and of itself. The word prejudice refers to prejudgment: “making a decision before becoming aware of the relevant facts of a case or event.” This is precisely what these shallow Carleton University students did.
Liberals don’t try to end racism, they just change targets. They use race to measure diversity, which they believe is only skin deep. They are the ones who stand in the way of achieving King’s dream of a color-blind society. They depend on the existence of racism and classism to justify the use of force to achieve their Marxist goals and bring about “equality for all.”
Liberals have no desire to end racism because they depend on it. But when they argue that racism is justified for certain reasons (affirmative action, diversity, etc.), they leave the door open for future generations to justify racism for their own reasons.
If it is valid for minorities to discriminate against the children of the majority in the name of addressing past grievances, what’s to stop future generations from doing the reverse for the exact same reason? The only way to prevent the pendulum of racism from swinging back the other way is to stop it from swinging at all, which is the last thing Liberals want to do.

PS. Anybody know if L&H’s March of the Wooden Soldiers will be on TV this season? I bought the dvd because I seriously doubt it. A true classic. Screw you if you don’t like it, oh, I mean, Happy Thanksgiving!
Does this mean the end of fundraising for breast cancere, sickle cell anemia etc.?
Sickle-cell disease occurs more commonly in people (or their descendants) from parts of sub-Saharan Africa. So are we going to apply the same standards to those who suffer most from this disease, African Americans?

They like to mask their bigotry with words like “inclusive”, “tolerance”, “diversity”…you know the terms. The far left are the most dangerous enemy any minority in this country can have…just because of their creepy and subtle methods of holding back different minorities from making something of themselves.
