Anyway, BestBuy, Walmart and Target were overcrowded and out of the digital camera we were trying to find for our son. Stopped at a Staples, no crowds and penty in stock, and found the particular camera cheaper. This Christmas shopping is for the birds. I hope the Lord realizes that all this greed and avarice is not being done in his name. People are losing their heads everywhere. Shopping this time of year is more pain than pleasure.

   While the Wal-Mart incident is an unfortunate reminder of a darker side of human nature: mindless mob action; the Citigroup story, in my opinion is much more insidious. It represents cold, calculating, ruthless greed at its’ worst. Far more dangerous to the well-being of us all.

    I repeat myself here…my fondest heartfelt sympathies go to the families of the young man that lost his life and the young mother to be that had a miscarriage, hopefully the reported others with injuries will recover fully.
    Sometimes my fellow man make me sick to my stomach.

    I find shopping on line easier, usually shipping is free, and for returns you only have to go to your local post office. Malls are for looky-loos and teens hanging out.

    They exist Jet Jaguar and spend most of their time inspecting commercial and government buildings, nursing homes, schools etc.
    Their two primary directives are preparedness and prevention and in some municipalities are the political liaison between the department and city government.
    If the fire department is called to an event and it is found the building is over capacity they have the power to cite or shut the place down.
    In this unfortunate Walmart case the crowd control issue should have been foreseen by local law enforcement.
