I heard a snippet on the radio this morning, but was driving through construction and was mostly focused on the idiots in the vehicles nearby, so I didn’t hear it all. What I heard was Obama justifying all of the moldy oldies he was selecting — something about combining “experience” with his vision of “change” — or some such. Did anyone hear the full context? Basically, it sounded like he was admitting that he has no experience (duh!), but it almost sounded like he was whining when he said that it would be combined with “…the vision of Change, which comes from ME!” (Again, I’m paraphrasing.)

Obama was elected in part to introduce “universal” health care based on subsidized private health insurance. “HillaryCare” was a government run single payer plan similar to those in all other advanced economies. Under the Obama plan, health care providers would not be government employees.

Today, Hillary was listing some of the issues we face, including terrorism, the economy, etc. and she added in “the warming of the earth”. Say what??? Are these idiots still spewing out that completely bogus claim? The earth actually stopped warming in the 90’s and we are now starting into a cooling period. So, these global warming nuts are just going merrily along in their dilusions without bothering to check the facts. I thought Hillary was a little more savy than that, but apparently not.
Well, I actually like this as its a big middle finger to all of the idealists who believed that Obama was the anti-Hillary, and a man who would bring new faces and new ideas into the mix…
Congratulations, America. Here’s what you get. B.O. and the stink underneath it.
Oh, and as for the problem of her being only three heartbeats from the Presidency, that’s kind of a non-issue, isn’t it? I mean, with the two in between being Biden and Pelosi, aren’t we already pretty thoroughly screwed well before we get to Hillary?
Would those be the advanced economies who have reproduction below replacement rate, double digit unemployment, no defense apparatus, rationed health care, and “troubled youths?”

I never thought I would miss Madaline Albright…….
They will just be regulated by government employees, that is just as bad. Government employees who get paid no matter what kind of job they do have few incentives to really do a good job. Employees run by politicians who will be too busy with their hands in the cookie jar to really care, ala Barney Frank.
Secretary of State Clinton, in exchange to keep her mouth shut on the fact that BHO is probably not Constitutionally eligible to run. I wondered some time ago what she was going to get out of it.

I don’t think Mrs. Clinton has any of the great qualities of Ms. Rice…but I am sure keeping Gates as defense secretary was a correct move. Gates is much better than arrogant lier Rumsfield.

Awesome! Went to my folks’ place on Wednesday after work and stayed til Saturday evening (would have been Sunday, but the forecaster kept using the S-word for our area). Did some Christmas goodie baking and helped Dad hang the outside lights at their place.
Of course, we had turkey with all the fixins, and we also went out to breakfast on Saturday – pancakes with way too much butter, sausage, bacon, hash browns . . .
*drools from the memory*.
Where do you think that $7 trillion dollars want? Look at their membership, it’s Citigroup, AIG, Golman-Sacs, DaimlerChrysler, ect….

Sweetpea, under other countries’ health care plans, the health care providers aren’t actually government employees either. The government subsidizes all health care and pays the stuff through ungodly high taxes, but trust me, I’ve been through enough interviews at hospitals in Canada to know you aren’t considered a government employee just because you work at a socialised medicine health center.
So your little ol’ point is quite irrelevant.
