It’s beginning to look a lot like Hillmas

By Michelle Malkin  •  December 1, 2008 11:03 AM

In the spirit of the season, here’s my ode to Barack Obama’s Secretary of State nominee Hillary Clinton. Ho, ho, ho! Merry Hillmas!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Hillmas
Everywhere you go
Take a look at the Department of State
It’s Hillary Clinton ‘08
What wond’rous fate and Billy Boy’s aglow

It’s beginning to look a lot like Hillmas
Everywhere you stare
Larry Summers will lead a team
That looks like a Clinton dream
And Obama will deliver us unto to HillaryCare

John Podesta’s paving the way for the hacks and flacks
Who screwed up two decades ago
Rahm Emanuel’s back, Eric Holder’s warmed over
Greg Craig regained his mojo
And Bill and Hill can hardly wait to triangulate once mo’

It’s beginning to look a lot like Hillmas
Everyone you meet
Is a retread brought back from the dead
Has Obama gone soft in the head?
Who knew defeat would be so very sweet?

It’s beginning to look a lot like Hillmas
So much for change and hope
Oh, the moldiest sights you’ll see
Are the old Clintonites that will be
Right beside The Dope.

See what others have said

    AWESOME!!!

I heard a snippet on the radio this morning, but was driving through construction and was mostly focused on the idiots in the vehicles nearby, so I didn’t hear it all. What I heard was Obama justifying all of the moldy oldies he was selecting — something about combining “experience” with his vision of “change” — or some such. Did anyone hear the full context? Basically, it sounded like he was admitting that he has no experience (duh!), but it almost sounded like he was whining when he said that it would be combined with “…the vision of Change, which comes from ME!” (Again, I’m paraphrasing.)

It makes a good rhyme, but it isn’t true. Obama was elected in part to introduce “universal” health care based on subsidized private health insurance. “HillaryCare” was a government run single payer plan similar to those in all other advanced economies. Under the Obama plan, health care providers would not be government employees.

They will just be regulated by government employees, that is just as bad. Government employees who get paid no matter what kind of job they do have few incentives to really do a good job. Employees run by politicians who will be too busy with their hands in the cookie jar to really care, ala Barney Frank.

Secretary of State Clinton, in exchange to keep her mouth shut on the fact that BHO is probably not Constitutionally eligible to run. I wondered some time ago what she was going to get out of it.

I don’t see what the problem is with Hillary as Secretary of State. She’ll be faithful and stand next to Obama and US Interests like she stood next to Vince Foster…

    Umm…

    Susan McDougall….

    Ummm….

    Kathlene Wiley…

    Ummmm….

    Web Hubble…

    Ummmmm…..

    Norman Hsu…

    Health Care…

    Ummmmmmm…….

    Craig Livingstone…

    Ummmmmmmm……..

    Billy Dale…

    Ummmmmmmmm………

Huma Abedin! Yeah! She hasn’t screwed over Huma Abedin yet! In fact Huma can afford $10,000 designer dresses on the $9,000 annual salary that Hillary gives her.

There you go: Hillary will stand by US interests like she stands by Huma Abedin. I mean, her past history shows this to be true, right?

So…. Clinton retreads on Obama’s bus.
Carter made the same mistake with old Kennedy hacks. They constantly undermined him.

This isn’t going to be good for Obama’s presidency, especially when folks see Obama can’t fix anything or deliver on his promises. You know, the free gas and morgage payments Miss Peggy was was swooning over.

This whole spectacle has turned into great free entertainment. I can’t wait to see all the people that hated how W spoke make excuses for Obama stuttering through all non-teleprompting speeches.

Great. Another CFR everyone is good inside somewhere hack. All you have to do is talk to them, and find out where it is.

Not to mention allowing more moon god worshipers into this country, and adding more illegal aliens on the sugar tit.

Is Hill a Nationalist? I don’t think so.

Under the Obama plan, health care providers would not be government employees.

Sweetpea, under other countries’ health care plans, the health care providers aren’t actually government employees either. The government subsidizes all health care and pays the stuff through ungodly high taxes, but trust me, I’ve been through enough interviews at hospitals in Canada to know you aren’t considered a government employee just because you work at a socialised medicine health center.

So your little ol’ point is quite irrelevant.
