Under the Obama plan, health care providers would not be government employees.

Sweetpea, under other countries’ health care plans, the health care providers aren’t actually government employees either. The government subsidizes all health care and pays the stuff through ungodly high taxes, but trust me, I’ve been through enough interviews at hospitals in Canada to know you aren’t considered a government employee just because you work at a socialised medicine health center.

So your little ol’ point is quite irrelevant.

So…. Clinton retreads on Obama’s bus.
Carter made the same mistake with old Kennedy hacks. They constantly undermined him.

This isn’t going to be good for Obama’s presidency, especially when folks see Obama can’t fix anything or deliver on his promises. You know, the free gas and morgage payments Miss Peggy was was swooning over.

Awesome! Went to my folks’ place on Wednesday after work and stayed til Saturday evening (would have been Sunday, but the forecaster kept using the S-word for our area). Did some Christmas goodie baking and helped Dad hang the outside lights at their place.

Of course, we had turkey with all the fixins, and we also went out to breakfast on Saturday – pancakes with way too much butter, sausage, bacon, hash browns . . .

Sounds like good ol’ fashioned fun all around. Glad you enjoyed your visit!!

You know what would really Tic Off the Democrats…

Bush should resign now.
Then Dick Cheney becomes President (really tic them off)
Then he appoints Condoleeza Rice as VP.
Then Cheney resigns two weeks later and Condoleeza Rice, A Republican,
becomes the first BLACK President and the first WOMAN President !!!

Unfortunately, our current crop of Repubs isn’t too quick on its feet these days, or else we’d really have the last laugh!
